Chapter Two: New Life

My new life in Sunset valley has been most enjoyable by Christopher's side. One night in the garden I had to change into maternity clothing and I knew I was pregnant!

As soon as we got an easel, I had Christopher start painting. I told him I wanted myself and our daughter/son immortalized in a portrait in every life stage. "What about me?" He told me. "You are the artist! You shall always be remembered." She meant it too.

Before I knew it, I was going into labor. I called Christopher from the other room and we both headed to the hospital.

Say hello to Luke Little.

Luke was so cute as a nooboo, but it got me thinking about his future, and how he would react about what I was getting my family into. I decided then and there that I wasn't going to tell him until he was old enough to understand. Christopher too.

Before I knew it, Luke became a toddler!

Christopher did a great job with his painting, he was able to do both our portraits in no time at all!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have to say, Christopher finished his painting very fast, which might have just been the timing on when he started.

Hey sorry guys, my game keeps crashing, and I can't get it to stop. It crashes at exactly the same time every time. I might have to do a different dynasty (again!!!!! :-[ :'(). I got way ahead of myself on this one, and Luke is already a young adult and is married. They are on vacation in france so Beka can learn nectar making, but it keeps freezing in the middle of the night! I'll let you guys know if I do. I had a new idea for my next dynasty…… I guess you guys will soon find out! ;D

If I can figure out what's going on, I will keep going but i'm not sure it will happen. This isn't the best computer in the world, and macs are not the best gaming computer. >:(

Mine did that back before LN was released. In fact, that's the reason I didn't get it for a couple months after it was out. I called EA and they said it was my graphics card, but it turned out only to be my DEP. I had a thread going on about it, maybe some info in there will help you. http://www.carls-sims-3-forum.com/index.php/topic,2118.0/all.html

OK so I just have to check my DEP? I have no idea what that is by the way, so what do I do? (I'm only 13, I don't know this stuff)

Simlish, if I remember correctly you're playing on a Mac right? Macs don't have DEP so no need to get frustrated looking for it (my husband says it's more of a built in thing). The "check your DEP" is for running the game on Vista.
