How do you install Sims downloaded from the Swap Shop?

I've downloaded a couple of Pam's wonderful Sims and they show up in my "Saved Sims" file but not in my game.  How do I install them and others that are in the Sim bin?  Patterns show up just fine as do houses but not the Sims.  (can't find them in the in game library)

I downloaded and installed 3 of the Dreamweavers.  They were in the bin in CAS.  I noticed when I chose move in household, they were not there.  Only in the CAS bin.  Have you tried deleteing them from the downloads in the launcher and re-downloading them?

So you can access them from CAS and then put them in your library?  I have not deleted and re-downloaded them.  Does that help?

I would check the bin in CAS if you haven't already.  Then save them from there into your library.  If they are not in your library or the CAS bin, then I would re-download them.  But check CAS first.  Good luck.

They are in mine.  You are going to random sims, right?  The picture at the bottom of CAS that has the shadow faces of premade sims.  I know when I downloaded my first sim a long time ago, I couldn't find the sim either and sure enough, that is where it is.  Also make sure you are chosing the right age for the sim you downloaded.  If it is an adult sim, you have to choose click on adult and so on for the YA and elder.  Pams Dreamweavers are all YA.  I know when I redid Jon Lesson, I couldn't find him and realized he was in the adult section.  I am a little slow sometimes, lol.

Salty is right.  They will show up in CAS under Pre-Made Sims.  I didn't export them from an active game, so they won't show up under Households in Map View.  They were saved straight from CAS.  Their existing traits and LTW will show up with them in CAS, but you'll be able to change anything you want.

Well that is convenient! I didn't even know you can save sims to the internet right away from CAS.

You can save them to your bin by clicking on the button with 3 dots (...) and selecting Save to Bin, or save them for upload to the Swap Shop by selecting Share.
