We have limited experience of butlers, but the same household is now on its third one. We don't track them very closely, but they certainly seem to be quite different. Let me elaborate a bit more:
Butler 1 [Nicholas Raison?]. He had a bad attack of the cooking fetish [especially Key Lime Pie], unlike his successors. He tended to wander off and watch TV, make himself a drink from the bar, get in the hot-tub, put himself to bed in a sarcophagus ... and he didn't always get round to making the beds [there are 4 bedrooms, each with a double bed]. Eventually we decided he should move on ...
Butler 2 [Danette ****]. She was very good at cleaning and tidying, and kept the cooking to sensible levels. In fact she was so nice that Farouk Al-Jezeera, the head of the household, decided to take her as his wife. After much courtship [i.e. stopping Danette getting on with her work] the bells rang and she is now the mistress of the house [and has joined the Police career].
Butler 3 [ummmm ... Butler 3]. He's a bit different again. Cooking is much more varied [nice], cleaning and bed-making only reasonable - but he does unclog toilets! We've only had him for 3 Sim days, so we're having to keep an eye on his performance!
........
The sleeping issue is interesting. From what I've seen, the butler won't go to bed if there is work to do. So, having 6 members of Al-Jezeera household [Sa'id the explorer married Nui Tai, the Chinese paparazzi

] there are 6 people using the various toilets/baths all the time, and getting up at all hours of the day/night. [All 4 house bedrooms are en-suite, and there are 3 more toilets/showers on the ground floor ... oh and another in the cellar where the exercise machines live]. So there's a LOT of cleaning up to be done, spread all over a large house. That means [in software terms, I guess] that the butler
has to go and attend to those items. No wonder they sometimes fall asleep on the floor ... and then 15-30 minutes later have to get on with their jobs again

Is all work that worth §1,500 a week?
