Can't resurrect one sim but can resurrect others

Everytime i try to bring Erik Darling back to life, the science facility takes §5000.00 from my account, but he doesn't get resurrected.

Is that Agnes Crumplebottom's fiance or husband or whatever?  You've already done the Oh My Ghost opportunity?  You've got the grave in your Sim's personal inventory?  Exactly what happens at the Science Center?  We need lots of details to help.

Yep he's Agnes Crumplebottem's husband (Sekemoto), I've already done the Oh My Ghost opportunity. She has the tombstone in her inventory. At the science center it does the same thing with the little progress bar thing, and after it gets done §5000.00 Simoleons is charged. But Erik doesn't get added to the family. Thanks for helping. She has already brought her parents and Lolita Goth back as ghosts

Does Erik's ghost appear at all even if he's not added to the family?  Or does the entire thing just stop at a certain point?  What is the message you get in the upper right corner?  There was a time when the game was first released that ghosts would get stuck inside the Science Center and needed to be reset in order to come out.  I don't recall if the ghost had been added to the family, though.  I also thought this bug has been fixed because I haven't seen or heard of it happening in quite awhile.  Have you exited and restarted the game?

It completes as normal and he doesn't appear at all. I already did the oh my ghost thing so i don't get a message, it's just like he's invisible but reset Sim doesn't make him appear. I wish it did hehe. I have exited and restarted but he still doesn't appear when i try to resurrect him. I even get charged §5000.00 Simoleons. Another thing that's kinda weird, when they get done ''resurrecting'' Erik they go out the back of the science facility. All the other times they come out the front of the building. Morgana Wolff also has the ability to resurrect ghosts in my game.

It's either a glitch or Erik can't be resurrected.  The only thing I can suggest is that you try it again in another game file and see if the same thing happens.

Aw I have resurrected him before but I just gave him Ambrosia when his ghost came around. I guess I'll have to do that again hehe. I know this would be a legacy question but could I put Agnes in my legacy house, since she's not player created? I could test there and see if it's bugged in sunset valley.

If you're talking about a legacy following Pinstar's rules, I can't really answer that.  I don't know if Pinstar allows non-family members to be added to the household.  If you're talking about our Immortal Dynasty, then, yes, you can add her.  However, once she's added she cannot be removed and must live there until she dies a natural death.  I'm a little confused, though, about how you could test resurrecting Erik Darling by moving Agnes into your legacy house.

Because my legacy house is in Riverview, i was thinking a different town might let him come back to life if its a bug lol. At least the §1 million she has would help hehe.

Oh, I see.  From what I remember of Pinstar's rules, you're not allowed to bring anyone into the house except through in-game interactions, such as inviting a friend to move in.  So, with it being a completely different town, you wouldn't be able to do that.  On the other hand, that challenge doesn't have a leaderboard or anyone keeping score, so you can really do whatever you want.

Oh yeah she would be moved in by my legacy people by becoming friends and asking her to move in.
