Whatcha working on?

I always get great ideas from forums.  I am still messing around with traits and careers.  I have 5 kids with different traits- the 2 oldest have all the terrible traits  they are teens about to grow up and I am getting ready to kick them out. 

I haven't done any challenges for Sims 3 yet but I am thinking about starting one this weekend.  Is there one that is quick and easy that you might recomened? 

I played a few for Sims 2 but only after I got bored with other things.

I guess I'll toot my own horn for the Centurian Challenge I started a few days ago. Compared to other challenges it shouldn't be too time consuming. And it's pretty simple as far as the concept of what needs to be accomplished — lots of simoleans and lots of Happiness Points.

I was reading that  one and I could finish it is a weekend but I really like to spend my happiness points.  I suppose if I didn't spend them it wouldn't be a challenge....

Great I just re-read the rules and you can spend your happiness points.  Whoo hoo I'm off to play!!!!!

Well I'm playing the Carpenter family right now.
I can do nothing but recommend the Legacy challenge, it's so much fun seeing the development there.

Hi everyone...right now I'm playing the Goths.  Bella and Mortimer are both elder and ready for the Reaper in a matter of a couple of days.  They're in a beach house with Alexander and Cassandra, both YA.  Alex is in medical career and also has best friend, Hasan Wan living in the house, who is also in medical.  Cassandra is artist and author and almost finished with LTW.  She and Hasan have quite a thing going on and will probably end up getting hitched. 

Michael Bachelor just passed on and son Grady and g/f Liza Heath are living next door.  She also is in medical.  Alexander and Grady are best friends and Alex will probably marry Liza's sister, April Heath who he went to school with.  Both families are very close and are each other's best friends.

Is everyone confused?    I just love intertwining my families with relatives working at same jobs.  Makes keeping up with everyone the game much easier.  Less surprises this way!

I am starting a rock star, because I haven't done that Lifetime Wish just yet. This one will be a girl  and I expect her to make lots of money.

Like Kreathyr, I'm working on the Legacy challenge with my Wartooth family. 

The parents are both surgeons (and get paid quite well I might add ) and they have 3 young daughters, Sofie who is the oldest and Nora and Karoline, the young twins. Did I mention all of them were toddlers?? What was I thinking when I got the father the fertility treatment?

I'm still playing my Asylum Challenge....I play sooooo slooow.  I guess I should use the ultra speed button, but I'm trying to catch moments for pic's so I don't use it much.  This is actually the first challenge I've ever attempted so hopefully I can finish...

My second generation is about to make a special friend, I get the feeling "y'all" play a lot faster than me.

I'm just starting Metro's Rock Star challenge with my Sim Mick Jagger.  Finished the Centurian Solo and Renaissance Smackdown challenges.  Also finished the Surrounded by Family walkthrough.  It should be posted in the next day or so.

Of course it will not be the same as this challenge, but I get a lot of legacy ideas from other challenges.

I would much rather play slow. 

I'm only into my 3rd generation, but I play my games in rotation, and I have 7 saved games so far.  It's already 4 months since game came out.    I feel like if I go too fast, like some ppl, that I'm going to miss something.  About the only time I use the one speed faster than normal button is when sim is studying, or is still a new gardener. 

There is so much detail in this game that when you play too fast, you're gonna miss something...but to each his own.  Everyone plays the way they feel.

I like the "fast forward till done with current action" button.
If I'm playing one sim, I use this for all his/her time consuming actions.
I don't use it when playing multiple sims, cause the other sims tend to do stuff you don't want.
