He looks much better without the stupid glasses and the ponytail. xD He's Hawaiian, so I gave him surfer hair. Figured it was fitting.

For those of us without Seasons, what did she look like pre-makeover? Seems like the hair selection is pretty limited for Aliens. Same thing as ghosts.

I decided to give Nancy Landgraab a little pic me up. The bright pastel colors weren't doing anything for her. She wasn't UGLY before, but she looks a lot better now.

This thread is supposed to be for townies only.  I'm not aware of an alien townie.  A townie is a Sim who lives in town and is present at the start of the game.

This is Bertram Bedlington from Appaloosa Plains, who is one half of my starting couple for my Random Town Jump project. His wife, Patricia  hasn't had a makeover yet because she's pregnant at the start of the game.

He looked like an elder so I thought I'd give him a younger, fresher look, in his favourite colour green.

I'm currently making over all of Sunset Valley and Riverview. I'm always making over Sunset Valley but I end up deleting pictures out of frustration, haha, so I'm going to try to come straight here after a makeover and post before my perfectionism gets the best of me!

I have a lot of personal rules for my makeovers as far as what I can and cannot change (I try to think: What Not to Wear makeovers. I'm such a dweeb) I try with VIGOR to keep makeovers reflecting their traits, favorites, jobs, financial status, ect.... It's quite a fun challenge, but sometimes results in something not quite as flattering as I hope for.

Are you using third party content on their eyes and skin?  Or changing their facial features?  They just have a bit of an odd look about them.

Thank you for the welcome, Pam! Glad I've finally found just the forum I've been looking for.

One of my rules is to never change their facial features, but I do have custom content on both their eyes and skin. It looks great on some sims, others... Not so much.

I'm personally not a big face of CC, but I do like Robert's makeover. I just think that yellow colour really suits him!

Now meet Andrea Hallur from Aurora Skies, mother of Laura Hallur and Kristin Helgason's grandmother. Our elderly sims do have limited clothing options, so that's why I rarely play with them. But I tried my best to use what is provided to them and made some pattern adjustments.

As you can see, I didn't change any of her facial features, didn't add any make up as she is one pretty elderly sim. With her everyday outfit, the dress with coat is from Generations, gloves, leggings and shoes from base game. For the coat, I used my favorite tweed pattern, and just a checkered pattern for the dress. I like to mix different patterns, but try not to clash with each other.





I went for an "Old Hollywood Glamour" style for her formal outfit. Gown is from the Le Cinema Plumbob Set, earrings from Showtime, shoes from base game, and my favorite hair do from Monte Vista.






I'm really hoping that there will be more items for our elderly sims as I feel like they are a bit neglected...

Dru_rav, I agree. Elders could do with some more outfits, both elderly style and modern.

Anyway, this is Hannah Jones and Aiden Jones from Riverview.


In my Townie DecaDynasty, I gave them both a makeover. Neither of them looked great at the start of the game.
