Makeovers - Ugly to Pretty! (Townies Only)

Emma Hatch is also pretty cute with a little weight loss and a makeover.

That's a bit of an understatement if you ask me lol.  And Emma turned out so good, I decided to fix up the other girls in the household lol.

Tamara Donner required the least amount of work of the 3, but as anyone who has ever encountered her can attest to, her wardrobe is atrocious.  And judging by her clothes, you'd think her favorite color is green...but no:  it's spiceberry.  So after a visit to a mirror and then the dresser:



Now you'd think that Blair Wainwright would be easy, too...but I thought she was a bit too skinny, so I spent a week trying to get her to put on just a little bit of weight.  Every day, she ate like she had a hole in her neck.  She'd make a group meal of mac and cheese, eat it all herself in one sitting, then wash that down with 2 containers of ice cream.  It had a barely noticeable effect, and I eventually got frustrated with it and decided to work with what she had:



I didn't mess with some of her wardrobe, simply because I thought it suited her style.  But I did recolor what I didn't change with her favorite color.

All in all I think these ladies turned out awesome.

So yeah, Agnes has some pretty genes to pass down. Faith is currently my favourite descendant, though I have *no* idea where she gets her purple eyes.

Yeah I never would have thought that Emma Hatch could be such a looker...but mousy little Blair Wainwright??  When I first started, I thought she was beyond any hope lol.  But I was shocked what a new hairdo and some makeup was able to do for her!

And I know everyone likes Agnes...but Sunset Valley is a wellspring of amazing legacy genetics.  Jamie Jolina, Bebe Hart, Becky Baker and Pauline Wan (if you can get past her commitment issues) really stand out in my mind.  And that's just on the female side.  On the male side, it's really hard to beat Christopher Steel.  Thorton Wolff and Connor Frio are close though.  Jared Frio isn't too bad either, but he is just too mean and nasty to tolerate.

The pickings are slim in Riverview, though.  I give anyone kudos for doing a legacy of any kind there.

  I think so too. I'm kind of bummed that I've now got a glitched game so I can't travel, because my choice in mates are dwindling superfast. I'm fortunate I found a decent looking husband for Faith, but he's 4 days from Elder. I think Shelley is doomed to be a single mother.

Part of the problem is that people are old, married, or vampires. Or all of the above.

Also, Hosfac, Nick Alto is pretty decent (when he's not vamped). And I think Leighton Sekemoto would have potential if it weren't for that crazy hair. Every time I see it, I shudder.

Cornelia was by far the most difficult.  She got new hair so that it's out of her eyes, toned down lipstick, eye makeup to open her eyes a bit, she ate mounds of food to put on some weight, then she went to the gym to work out on the weight machine for some muscles.  But the result is quite spectacular in my opinion.

Cornelia looks so womanly and self-assured. Amazing transformation.

It's astounding what a difference hairstyle and clothes have to how we perceive a person.  I know that I already knew that but, seeing these transformations, it really brings it home.  Nice work, Pam.

Great job Pam! My favourites are probably Gunther and Connor. Gunther in particular would make an excellent Robin Hood  .

Okay, my turn  . Someone mentioned a lack of pretty girls in Riverview, so I thought I'd go through and check. The Simoviches and Shallows are already quite attractive, as are Hannah Jones and Heather Crosby. As for the single women, a lot of them clean up rather nicely.
First up is Ruby Broke, who was looking a little masculine beforehand. I fluffed her hair up and gave her a punk rock look. Not my best, but I like it.



Next up was the lovely Lorraine Cantina, or at least she's lovely when not covered in Agnes Hair!



My personal favourite Constance Shelley, who was actually quite pretty beforehand but turned out to be an absolute stunner with a makeover:



Finally, just for a challenge, I made over Elaine Joy.



...I guess it's an improvement, right?

Some real surprise victories in Pam's and Ausette's makeovers...Ruby Broke and Cornelia Goth in particular.  I've stolen Pauline Wan away from Hank Goddard before, so I already knew what she's capable of.  And Constance Shelly has just become my new favorite in Riverview!

All of these victories are making me want to tackle Twinbrook!
