I believe our little girls are growing up and our man is going to be a teen soon. The morning of the girls first day of school was tramatic for Agnes and myself. We had not been alone, in what seemed like forever and for some reason, I had butterflies in my stomach at the thought of being alone with Agnes. I know, sounds corny coming from a guy.
When we were alone, we had just finished our breakfast and we sort of sat there and looked at one another, as if to say, "now what". It was quite amusing. She was sitting there looking all pretty in her nighties and for some reason, I just didn't know what to say, so we did what we had not done in a long time.
After laying there for a while, I felt like a new man. Of course, Agnes decided to read and I went to my favorite spot, The Perfect Garden.
I even found some butterflies, which might have been from my stomach earlier, and decided to see if I could catch one. Hmm, that was easy, landed right on my nose.
I did some gardening and before heading home, I needed to use the facilities. Well, maybe not, someone had taken up reading on the edge of the bathtub, strange.
Since the house wasn't far, I just told myself to wait until I got home. I was gone longer than I thought and it was time for the kids to come home from school, besides, I wanted to see what kind of arrangements Agnes wanted to make for our trip to France. I was so excited to go somewhere and be totally alone with my beautiful wife. The kids were such well behaved kids and got along with each other beautifully. I couldn't ask for happier children.
The next morning, I decided to practice my martial arts and finally convinced Agnes to give the training dummy a try. She was hesitant at first and watched me while I practiced breaking the oak boards. She decided to go ahead and give it a try, when I heard her yelp. I turned just in time to see the training dummy clock her a good one, ouch.
She stopped what she was doing and I wasn't paying attention and hadn't focused and ended up busting my hand on my first space rock.
When I turned to see what she was doing, I saw this:
Ah oh, I had seen that look before and I wasn't sure I was ready for it, but I guess I can't stop it now. There goes the trip to France, anytime soon. I think Agnes is making up for all that time she wanted kids and wasn't able to have them after Erik's accident. Oh well, what is one more, hopefully "just one" this time, the house is getting rather full now with 6 of us. At least I know it won't be triplets, *hand on head*..what if it is twins, sheesh. I think I need some nectar.
