Hm... Good question!
I have a custom Neighborhood that samoht build me, and that is by far my fave, but out of the offical Neighborhoods, probably Twinbrook. Well, maybe the non-swampy part, the swamps scare me  ::). Sunset Valley is good, but I've played it so much, it's kinda getting boring. Bridgeport makes my game lag, and I don't have the downloadable neighborhoods.

For me It all depends on what game or challenge I am playing.

For dynasty and legacy games I almost always go for Sunset Valley because I know it so well.

If I were doing a band challenge or a challenge involving bars and mixology Bridgeport is the obvious choice.

I am slightly put of using riverview as the last twice I went there my game crashed.

One day I will have to come out of my SV comfort zone and visit Twinbrook. I have never played there so do not have an opinion on it either way. I do have the town so I have no real idea why I haven't played it yet.

I do not have Barnacle Bay.

How can you like these if you don't have them?

I've watched so many screenshots of the 3 towns, that I can say I've seen all of the places in each of it. I don't have none, but I know that Riverview is a farm town with peaceful atmosphere (which I love), Barnacle Bay is a hot fishing spot with nice citizens (I do love handsome/beautiful townies) and Bridgeport is 3 times bigger than Twinbrook, plus it's the only real city in the game (I love its clubs, lounges and bars, of course, the vampires too). That's why I like these 3 towns.

Sunset Valley, beacuse it's pretty much the only one my computer can handle.

Are you on a desktop or a laptop? My laptop is like 3 years old and can still handle Twinbrook.

I recommend trying Twinbrook for sure. I like its misty weather, swamps and (ugly) citizens. The buildings and the Laundromat are worth a visit too. But I hate their library. It doesn't have the skill books!

Yeah, swamps are really scary, especially at night. And its surprising that townies live there! Though I like the Laundromat and their City Hall.

I vote for Bridgeport. In Bridgeport, even NPCs and maids have homes in apartments. And there is a great rock and roll.

But I do love Twinbrook's public facilities and Sunset Valley's open atmosphere. I also like Barnacle Bay's great fishing sites and beaches, and Riverview's beautiful setting, farms and river.

All the towns are great. It depends on what type of sim you are playing.

Really? I didn't know that, thanks. I agree with your comment wholly.

P.S. Keep on voting, people! Already 19 votes.  :)

We recommend just using Edit Town to add a couple of Book Corrals to the library.

I know that, but what's a book corral? I'm not a native speaker, sorry.

The Book Corral is the name of one of the bookcases you can get in Buy Mode.  When placed in a public library, the skill books will be in it.

I put Sunset Valley, purely because of Christopher Steele and Agnes Crumplebottom living there (I like to use them for dynasties). I also know it a lot better. I had to get rid of Riverview as it was just being so unpredictable, and Bridgeport travelling times are just ridiculous. Twinbrook is a very close second to SV, though.

Yes, they make great Dynasty spouses.

Riverview - New to me. I just started playing my homeless family there and its nicely set up.

Bridgeport - Travel issues, Lack of places to live.

Barnacle Bay - New to me. I like it because it full of hotties :P

But my favorite is Sunset Valley. Its like a old comfy shoe. I know it and it residents very well. I even relocate families from other towns to see how they will interact with my favorite Sims.

It's a close toss-up between Twinbrook and Barnacle Bay, but I voted Barnacle Bay because of the pirate and nautical themes. Some of the houses are very nice, and the ship-wheel mailboxes are pretty cool. Has anyone found a way to clone them?

While you can clone mailboxes, you can only clone the one already on your lot.  However, I'm not totally sure what would happen if you copied an empty residential lot from Barnacle Bay to your bin and dropped it in an empty lot in another town.  It might be worth a try.

Riverview is my favorite town by far, although I really like Twinbrook and have been playing there quite a bit lately.  I like Sunset Valley as well but prefer the more rural atmosphere of Riverview and the swampyness of Twinbrook.  :)  It reminds me more of where I actually live, I guess, and that appeals to me.  Out of all the neighborhoods, the only one I dislike is Bridgeport.  I don't like cities in real life, though.  I think it is a very cool looking neighborhood, I just don't like playing it.

Although I adore them all, and a few other 'Exchange-worlds', I voted for Barnacle Bay seeing as my legacy takes place right there.
