Before Late Night I liked Sunset Valley; but there were few places to go for a good time.

Now for me it is hands down Bridgeport. Yes, it takes a little while to get places but it has a reality to Big City living that suits me fine. For instance getting mugged in the subway and running into celebrities, that's happened to me in Paris. I also like the characters better.

I'd have to go with Bridgeport. Sunset Valley gets really old after a while, and Barnacle Bay was my absolute favorite because of the Pirate Theme and the Caliente Sisters (I'm a Sims 2 veteran). However, Riverview was always a much better town than Sunset Valley, because I favor the families stories more, the Grisby and Broke family are my two favorites. Bridgeport is my favorite so far due to the nightlife theme that suits my personality. I spent my toddlerhood in California and have always loved the big cities Chicago, San Francisco and LA, but not so much Detroit though, I'm from there lol and it's very rundown. My vote is Bridgeport, until I download Hidden Springs and decide if I like it best of all. :D

Jeana, I'm originally from Pontiac, then A2. Detroit used to be happening when I was younger, then I agree that it became rundown. Chicago holds a special place in my heart (The Jazz Festivals). Frisco was OK, and LA, I only saw driving through at 4am.

Of the three towns I have (SV, TB, BP), I like SV best.  It feels the most comfy and most things are fairly accessible.  I'm not a big fan of the swampy feel of TB, so that rules out a lot of the area.  BP approaches that Big City vibe, but it's deserted.  If I'm in the Big City, I expect a crush of pedestrians and whatnot and they just aren't there in BP (I assume it's because of computer limitations).  I'm also not a big fan of the whole club scene or celebrity worship or vampires (yawn), so BP doesn't offer much that appeals to me.

I do wish my SV Sims could go visit, however.  Spend a day on a shopping excursion in the Big City or spend time visiting friends in TB.

Definitely Riverview! I love the rural, farm-y feel it has to it!

Are we going to add hidden springs into this poll?  I'd like to see it compared to the other towns since I only have Sunset Valley and would like to get another town.

I have only ever played Sunset Valley, but forgive me = I've only been playing since April! :P

I am doing a thirty generational legacy and during the course of it I fancy taking them through each EA town to date, so I will have a taste of every town hopefully! (although I do wonder if my laptop will handle Bridgeport in particular..) The town I am most looking forward to is Hidden Springs, as everyone I have spoken to seems to have acquired it as their new favourite town! ;D

My favorite is Twinbrook,  mainly because of the variety in mansions.

My new favorite town isn't even on the poll! It's Appaloosa Planes! I love it because I'm a real life pet lover (mostly cats), and the town already fits like an old comfy shoe! Sunset Valley was great but somehow I get really bored with it! I even took a special liking to one of their townies, and am writing a story about her in this forum! (Hetty Lionheart!)

Twinbrook is my favorite because of its large public garden and central park.  Riverview is the only other town with a garden, and its much smaller, and has no central park.  I haven't tried AP yet, so I'm not sure if it has these, but it didn't exist at the time of the poll anyway.

That's because this wasn't an approved poll to begin with and the original author is gone.  I'm even wondering why it's still here.
