Sometimes, if they can't get to it they'll go and do something else.  Not always, but sometimes.  There are a good number of sims for whom sprinklers are a manic obsession.  But when I block it, I typically hear them freaking out over not being able to go there and I can intervene in this psychotic compulsion.

I find it ironic that they have spent thousands of simoleans of their hard earned money on wall mounted TV's, video game consoles, computers and pools, but despite this, they won't leave the sprinklers alone.

It's almost like the sims needed the sprinklers more than the plants do. Anyways, what was this topic about?

Oh, yes. Well, the best way to get back to a clean game is probably reinstalling the game, or for those more daring, reformatting the computer and/or defragmenting the hard drive. The only reasons I see for anyone to do that would be a major game corruption that is killing your game/computer entirely.

One just has to remove the offending hacks to the game and to delete the 'DCBackup' folder.  Then you will have a clean game going forth.
Defragging should be done on a regular basis just to keep your computer running smoothly.  You don't have to be daring to do that  :).

If you ever are going to create a Signature mtglady, please don't forget to add the Computer Whiz trait into it. You're such a Computer Whiz Kid. :D

There are those that are better Computer Whiz's then I, but thank you for the compliment.  I know just enough to be dangerous - sometimes ;).
