I've just run into an issue with this adventure. I find the final room, final chest with the lights coming out of it and there is only a money bag in it...no documents. So, I'm stuck with no documents and no way to finish the adventure, since the chest is now empty.
Doing a little research on the internet, it looks like it's a bug and I'm pretty much out of luck. Just wanted to put it out there that there does seem to be a bug with finding the documents in this quest.
ETA: to fix the bug, you need to cancel the adventure and go back to the adventure board and see if it comes up again. Then the documents should appear in the chest. For me, I actually had to exit the game and go back to my previous save to get the adventure to appear again on the board. This may or may not be necessary.
