I'm about to cry. I felt better, so I started to play the Halliwell's again. I opened the file, Mel and Antone were in France trying to fix Mel's inventory, and I brought them home. Everything was semi-ok, her inventory was fixed, but I couldn't click them and make them interact, and couldn't open their scrapbook. I figured, ok as long as I can click on objects and make them interact with them I'd keep going, and plus who needs to see the memories? Well, Prue had aged into a child so I have to get a portrait right? Mel nor Patty could get it, well I've had this glitch before, just shut the game down and restart right? Well, I shut it down and reopened, and now I think my Dynasty is over. I absolutely love Charmed and the Halliwell's, but I can't play them like this.

If I do restart, it won't be for awhile. Fourth try failing, gets very discouraging. Thank you to all the fans and I'm so sorry I let everyone down.

Sweetie, you didn't let anyone down. I am sorry about the Halliwells and if you ever feel like writing another story weather it is a dynasty story or a story about a Sim fixing the toilet I will read it because you are an amazing writer and person.

Hon you definitely didn't let down anyone it's not your fault. I'd read anything you write and that goes for Halliwells or not. Just thinking here, did you try to revert to a previous save or backup?

Thanks Rachel and Chronic, those words made me feel better. No actually I started crying, took a screenie and quit. I'll try that later. I think I have another backup before they left, and I know I have one while they were in France. I'll try those later thank you Chronic!

I hate traveling glitches, and it's totally okay that you won't want to play for awhile.

Esther I found a few solutions on how to fix your problem without reverting to a backup or something, I sent you a message about that on Facebook. Cheers.

Ok guys, thank you for the kind words and support on this. Chronic and I have been talking on facebook, and he's given me some links to some threads dealing with this issue. Right now, I'm upset and aggravated because I already tried changing active households, and evicting them, bulldozing the lot and putting them back in and both times the game froze and I had to force shut down. I know if I tried dealing with it right now, I would probably end up deleting the Halliwell's off my computer and I would deeply regret doing that. So give me a few days to cool off, then I will try what Chronic suggested and if all else fails, he has generously offered to help me try to debug them himself. The Halliwell fans are amazing and I hate doing this, but can I ask everyone to hold on a few more days? Please and thank you so much. I appreciate every single reader and if it wasn't for you guys, I would delete the files so again thank you all for your support.

You take all the time you need, Esther.  We'll all be here waiting for you to do whatever you want.  You're a great writer and I hope things fix themselves for you.  And remember - you could always start a new unofficial dynasty with your Simself marrying Antone =P  Dreams can come true, my friend.

(in the wishmaster challenge i got antone and my simself as the two sims.. couldn't believe it!)  I could always send you one of my files of Agnes married to my female rock star as a vampire but she has twins with Eric who is married to someone else. One of the twins is a vampire only and the other is a vampire drowned ghost!

Thanks Rica! MMM Antone!  ;D And the thing that bums me out worst, is I had some awesome shots of him and Mel in France. In his undies of course. I know I could still post them, but if I can't fix them there wouldn't be any point. Other than staring at Antone in his undies lol.  :D Nah, if I do end up having to scrap them, I think I will try to figure out a story that isn't so long you know? Maybe 1 or 2 generations at most. Maybe that would help me actually finish one. Plus, no 26 kids either. I really didn't think that one all the way through.  ::)

Aww, Esther, I'm sorry your game is acting up! That's awful, you take a break and cool off, you deserve! And here's a cookie to help you feel better, I hope you enjoy it, they're my specialty *hands over cookie of pure happiness.*

Fingers crossed that your game can be debugged!

Allow me to make you a helping of Seabody's Pasta. It's pasta-licious! *Gives bowl*
Seriously, Esther, I agree with ratchie. I don't care whether it is a story about Penny, or Prue, or even Antone in France wearing his underpants on his head while singing "Ping and all his checkers", but keep writing. You're an excellent writer.

Oh, Esther, I'm so sorry!  I completely feel your pain - the same thing ruined my Fae Dynasty.  It's so hard to lose something you care so much about to a glitch.  I hope you are able to figure out a way to salvage you game, but if you decide to take a break from playing we'll all be here waiting for you.  Let me echo others' sentiments - take a break if you need it but please don't stop writing altogether - that would just be too big a loss to the forum.

*hugs*

I'm going to try Chronic! Thanks Juxt, that cookie was delicious! I hope they can too. Thanks Seabody, that pasta was good too! The last part about Antone singing Ping with his undies on his head seriously made me giggle, thanks for that one! Thanks Kat, yes it is hard. I hope I can figure this out. Thank you so much, I don't think of my writing as all that special, but it makes me feel good that all of you do. Hugs to each and every one of you.

Ok folks. Sorry to double-post, but I was in a pretty good mood today so I tackled the Halliwell's, trying my best to debug them. I tried saving them to the library, evicting them, bulldozing the lot and moving them from the library back into a brand new 64x64 lot I placed where the old 60x60 was. It was not successful, I had to force shut down the game. So I had a great idea of moving them to Riverview, I even came up with a story about Penny to go along with it lol, but I started a new game, chose Riverview, move in household and tried placing the Halliwell's on the lot at 345 Riverblossom Hills Dr. It processed for over 10 minutes. So I forced another shutdown, opened the game and attempted it again, this time it processed for over 5 minutes before I did another forced shutdown. Chronic, I know you wanted to help and I deeply appreciate it, but I've chosen to do something else instead. I can never get past Prue right? So I've chosen to start at what would have been generation 8, and work backwards. Well, the only difference will be Penny will not be in the new Halliwell's as I wanted Generation 8 to be a male. Also, I know alot of my female readers loved Antone, so I will post a few of the pics I had from France. Kind of like a consolation and a heart-felt apology about not being able to save them.  ;D

Ok, that being said and done, Pam or one of the other moderators, can you please move this story to the graveyard? And keep a look-out for the new Halliwell's, not sure when it will be posted, or even what the name of it will be, cause I can't think of a clever name for 5 but maybe someone else can lol or I may google it and try to figure out a clever way to put it. I want to thank each and every one of my loyal readers for being there for me. Hugs and digital cookies for everyone.
