I don't know yet. I really like the quest-like gameplay, and I really like medieval stuff but I'm not sure if I like those two things put together with the sims. Plus I don't think my computer will handle it very well and I prefer to save memory for future expansion packs... but who know, maybe I will buy it anyway. I still have until june or something to make up my mind, since it usually takes a month or two for this stuff to be available in my country.

I changed my vote. I had originally said I don't know but then after reading a little more and seeing a little more I decided to preorder it. So yes I will definitely be getting it. I just hope that I like it as much as I think I will!

Putting in the pre-order today to get the bonus items. The game appeals to me for the story modes. I also have Sims: Castaway Stories for the same reason. I still want to get Life Stories and Pet Stories as well.

I was uncertain at first, but eventually we decided to go for it.  Pre-ordered a few weeks ago, and I see my credit card has now been billed ... so it should be arriving on time!

I love the medieval period and RPGs so this is right up my alley.   I have it preordered from Gamestop.

I'm on the fence about it - it looks like it'll be great if you like goal-based play, but I really prefer just starting a household and building a family, rather than having the game constantly prodding me to go and do missions.  I think I'll wait and see what people on the forum make of it before committing myself.

It looks cool from the videos but I'm not into the medieval for gaming. I love to watch movies in that time period though. So romantic.

I decided not to pre-order through EA.  As I was going through the order form it said that I would get free shipping.  And then when I got to the check out page it said $0.00 for shipping and then below that it said $6.99 for discounted shipping costs!  Really?!

So I canceled my order.

Anyone else see this or is it just me?  And if you did see this were you able to get around it??  I'd love to pre-order but I'm not gonna pay $6.99 for shipping!

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon. It's listing for 47.99 and .99 cents shipping for release date delivery.

I just pre-ordered mine and saw the same thing.  $6.99 for shipping but then the shipping discount.  It looks confusing but it's really not charging you the shipping.  The only thing it charged me was tax and the order came out to $53.25.

I can't wait to play this.  I've always loved anything to do with swords and sorcery.  I had a medieval wedding.
