Thank you all for the compliments on the house. I'm not particularly skilled at building or decorating, so your encouragement means a lot to me!
@ ILoveDolls: Thank you for letting me know about the hot tub plumbing!!! Once I got the green light from Metro I took it out of my living room. The game wouldn't let me delete it but I put it in my family inventory and the hot tub on the 2nd floor is still intact. YAY!!
@ lilygirl: He he, I gained 9 squares of space back by moving the hot tub plumbing. I moved the stairs to the basement back into the living room (I had moved them into the studio to allow for the hot tub) and the living room feels more spacious. It is more a matter of aesthetics than having any real plans for the space. I suspect Jess and Sam will put the nursery to good use when they get back from their trip to China.
@ jen2912: I will take some overhead shots when Jess and Sam get back from China, as I don't know of any way to see the house while they are travelling. They have 9 more sim days, so it might be a few real-life days before I can do anything.
@ kattiq: Lucia seems to sleep on a pretty regular schedule and she finds time to read, watch TV, and hang out with Jackson. She cooks a lot and the fridge is stocked with leftovers, so she can afford a little down time. When she's not skinny dipping in the hot tub, Agnes does laundry and cleans a little. (Seriously - every time I turn around Agnes has her clothes off and is in the hot tub - she has a wild side in her old age - never would have suspected!).
