In terms of Jessica having the option of marrying Cornelia's child - it would be a no go anyway as romantic interactions aren't available between family members, and the game recognizes first cousins as family. By marrying Agnes the Goth family is off limits unless Mortimer has a child.

Good luck on this attempt.

Thank you, Esther and Lily!

Bummer about not being able to match Jessica up with her cousin, but it's good to know EA has some standards!   ;)

Yes they have standards until a bug breaks your family tree! In the Sunburst's extended family, I now have a mother and son that are dating! I was so disturbed when I saw it I had to walk away from my game for a couple hours. Nasty! And I can't get any of my Sims to ask them to break up because the interaction is classified under romantic, which is unavailable. Thank goodness, she's an elder so that eliminates the possibility of a nooboo. *Shudders*

Well, you know what they say....if he's not good enough for his own family then he's not good enough for ours!   :o

Oh, something else cool happened yesterday that I just remembers.  Agnes was playing with the camera and took a picture of something on the kitchen counter just to try and get her skill level up.  When I looked at the photo afterwards there was this gnome taking up the whole picture, just smiling and waving for the camera.  I didn't see him when Agnes took the pic and I can't find him around the house or yard.  I hope he turns up again.

I have had that happen before with the gnome.  I thought, what the heck.  I had heard that they do that, but finally got the picture of one.

Great restart and I always go for Agnes, at least you have a little money in the bank and do not have to live outside in fear of meteors.  It is good to have the non immortals take the photos, because when I had Agnes take the photographs for the dynasty, some are now worth over 10,000 and some are still only worth the amount when she first took them.  Good luck. :)

Here is the floor plan for the Starr family home.  Right now it only has the first floor and a small basement.  The second floor is all planned out but I'm not going to build it until there is a need to.  I'll just convert the nursery into a bedroom for the upcoming generation until they are ready to move into the master bedroom.  Once the current generation eats ambrosia then they will move from the master bedroom to an upstairs bedroom.

Pics to follow.

Wow! Nice, how'd you make it?  :) I could do with something like that in my dynasty.

Thank you!  :)

I used MS Excel and just adjusted the height and width of the rows and columns until I got something that looked like graph paper.  Then I just used the border and shape tools and some fill colors to sketch out my idea.  I suck at building on the fly - I do much better if I sketch it out first.

I'm considering adding a 4th floor for the immortal museum - a central rotunda with one wall dedicated to each immortal - and just use the basement for nectar and such.  But for the time being the museum will have to stay in the basement.  If I keep going vertical, though, this is gonna look like a big silo.   :-\

Very unique and awesome floor plan, Katluvr! The only thing is the hot tub. I don't play LN much but I believe the space underneath the hot tub is required for plumbing so those 4 squares of the living room will be unusable. Just thought I'd bring that to your attention in case you forgot. It looks like it should fit nicely though and not cause a headache.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who plans out houses with a graph.  I use graph paper found in the school supplies section.

Thank you for all the kind responses!

Filly, graph paper is an excellent idea!  I think I'm going to pick some up, along with a note pad to keep track of all my dynasty info.

Lilygirl, you're right, a hot tub does take up the space below it if it's on an upper floor.  Right now I have a book case in that area because I'm a long way away from affording a hot tub.  It also may be a tight squeeze with the stairs to the basement right there.  Hopefully I can make it work when the time comes.  :D

I was so tired after work yesterday that I ran out of steam to organize and post house pics, so here they are.  If anyone has suggestions on how to get good pics that look like you are standing in the house, please let me know.  I was able to get a couple of the living room, but the rest are top-down views.
