FREE day in china without paying or cheating!

I have tested this with my one sim and it works. I'm not sure if it is just a glitch or if this is a cool thing for us to figure out.

When your time is up in China and it's time to return home...JUST after you get the notice *one hour until trip is over* have your Sim VERY tired and lie him down to sleep.
Your Sim will stay sleeping past the hour and then it will trigger you to get another message saying you've got "twelve hours until your trip is over" giving you another 12 hours free on your trip.

If anyone wants to test this and tell me if it's just a glitch in my game and/or my Sim or is this possible for all Sims ..

That's kind of interesting, but think about it — what difference will it make? Your Sim is going to be asleep most of that bonus 12 hours anyway. It's not like your Sim would be in any kind of shape to do sparring or tomb exploring in that time period — especially if you're saying they need to be very tired for this trick to fire to begin with.  So, they're not going to be good for much of anything before you'd put them bed.
