Aww, how sad for Bailey!
Yeah she was pretty broken up about it for a few days but I think she's fine now.
Lol thanks Kattiq!

Awww, poor Bailey and Natara.   :'(

If you haven't already a put a door in Skinny Leg's room, you might want to.  Unfortunately dynasty spouses are supposed to live out their natural life.  Does he have any skill points in handiness?

Thornton:  'Hey, Skinny Legs, would you mind seeing if you can fix this big screen TV?  It seems to be broken.'
Skinny Legs:  'Sure, but it'll cost you $50.'
Thornton:  'Money is no issue, my boy.  That's right, just drag it into that bathroom and be sure to stand in the puddle while you're fixing it.  Oh, and you might want to plug it in before starting...'

He is living out his natural life...just without a door.. Haha
And no he does not have any skill in handiness ;)

True, that, he has all the necessities.  Nice touch putting the shower in close proximity to the TV.   ;)

Haha, is it really against the rules? I mean he's a couch potato so all he'd be doing anyways is watching tv..

She's really okay now. I'm thinking a nice Egyptian man should make her feel even better though ;)

I personally would like to see a door so young Natara can go down and visit her father; because one day she'll be old enough to know you need a Daddy Sim to make a nooboo Sim and she's going to ask questions. What you could do is lock the door to everyone except Natara and Skinny Legs would still stay in his room.

I evidently didn't notice the shower earlier! Zero handiness + 24/7 TV watching next to the shower = "accidental" blue ghost in the future.  ;)  Nice touch!
You've played too much TS3 when ... your 13 month old's babble sounds like Simlish!

Well you'll just have to see what happens when Natara asks her mommy where her daddy is..

And there really wasn't anywhere else to put the TV ;)

  • No Sim may ever be moved out of the household by any means. Spouses and non-immortal offspring are to live a full and natural life and their eventual death can never be expedited in any way.

This is the rule that first came to mind when I noticed there was no door, but I realized that I mistakenly thought no door = death.  In Skinny Leg's case he has everything he needs to survive - food, bed, bathroom facilities, entertainment - so just because he is out of sight doesn't mean he will die prematurely - although when garbage starts to pile up and the toilet breaks he may wish he would.

If you are trying for HoF you might want to make sure that if he dies of electrocution because of the proximity of the TV and shower that it would be considered accidental (I don't know enough about game mechanics to know if that could happen or if electrocution is a completely random event.)

I hope Bailey has a wonderful adventure in Egypt - those men are hunks with their smoldering good looks!  *rawrrr*   ;D

Well, I can attest that absentee parent is better than both parents who make your life miserable with their hate for each other, so maybe it's in Bailey's best interest.

I love Skinny Leg's own personal underground Alcatraz, that's really clever :)

Ahh, okay well good! I didn't want to break any rules :P
I don't think I am going for HoF this time though. The more I think about it the more I feel like I need to have at least one complete dynasty under my belt.
I am not planning on electrocuting him anyways, I'd feel terrible for one thing! And I don't want to break any rules. But if he does die prematurely it will be an accident on his part not mine. :) The shower and TV in such proximity really was a fluke. I just placed it there because that was were there was room :P

Yeah, Bailey really didn't want Natara growing up in that kind of environment so she just let Skinny Legs go.
SL has made quite a home for himself down in the dungeon. He's content just watching TV, chatting online, eating, bathroom(ing), and sleeping. He's perfectly happy!
