Poor Lancasters. This has a very intriguing beginning to it though... With all of the great dynasties out there I have been reading, I seem to be making a lot less progress in my own.

Chapter 2: Spouse Hunting

The next day, Charlotte ventures down towards the beach and finds a lovely house on the cliff. She didn't know why she was so drawn to the house until she met the man who lived there.
His name was Thornton Wolff..She instantly fell in love with his sleek hairstyle and his sideburns.

They both found out they had so much in common, even their love of swimming pools..

She couldn't wait to get to know more about this mysterious man. She had felt like she had known him her whole life. They could be up all night and still have a million things to talk about. But for some reason the man had no interest in flirting with her. Still after some more coaxing her charm began to break  through Thornton's commitment walls.


She asked if she could spend the night at his house. As Charlotte did not own anything but a big piece of land..
Just then, another car pulled up and a long black-haired woman stepped out of the car. She greeted Charlotte with a smile and then turned to Thornton and gave him a kiss. This woman was Morgana Wolff, his wife..no wonder he had a hard time flirting.
Charlotte however, was not deterred by this woman and was determined to get what she wanted. So, while Morgana was in the kitchen she "accidentally" fell asleep in Thornton's bed and Thornton "accidentally" fell asleep next to her.


It obviously didn't phase Morgana because she ended up sleeping on the patio furniture..


After spending the night together, Charlotte decided she was good enough friends with Thornton to ask him to leave his wife.
He readily agreed.


Morgana however was very upset that her money supply was cut off and became mortal enemies with Charlotte.
Charlotte didn't care though, she was too happy to let some ridged, and mean woman ruin anything.

That night, Thornton decide it was time to pop the question.


Thornton was thrilled that he finally got to marry the love of his life.


They exchanged vows to each other and shared their first kiss as man and wife.
Charlotte could not shake the feeling that she felt as she said those words. It's as if she had remembered saying them before or something..But she decided to disregard her feelings and focus on the lovely man in front of her..


Later that night, Charlotte began to think about the days events. She still felt uneasy about her sudden remembrance of the wedding vows. Had she been married in the past? If so, was she now the wife of two men?! All these thoughts flooded her mind and she hoped that her memory never came back so she could just enjoy her new life..

Whew! I'll tell ya I am having so much fun writing this story. I am just said that I will be quite busy this next week and won't have much time to update. So, I hope you guys enjoyed this update and let me know what you think!

Thanks Salty! Yeah I needed to switch to get myself interested in actually writing this story and not make it a repeat of the Lancasters. Now I just need to make sure I can keep track of everything!
