Okay guys I worked for several hours (again) on this darn house!
Tell me what you think :)

The roofing is a little high for my tastes but in order for the gazebo roof to look good I had to adjust it accordingly.

And guys can't even see the garage because of the tree but just in case you were wondering the garage is a separate building at the moment. I am working on attaching the garage to the main house I just have to re-look at the video on how to make it work with the foundations of the house and such. I got tired of trying to make it last time I tried it's kind of confusing :P

Unfinished backyard

There will be a hot tub in that little square part of the deck soon!

Interior ground floor

-Not fully furnished-

I kind of ran out of money so I haven't fully developed the second floor either, but so far there are two rooms + a bathroom and a balcony that connects both rooms. So you can actually see what is going on downstairs while upstairs! If that makes sense at all. I probably should have taken a picture of that too..Haha
Also there is a basement and the stairs leading down to it is in the kitchen, right now there is no museum but I will get to that later of course :)

Tell me what you think! and if you have an suggestions on how to make it better let me know :D

Kattiq, there is a tool now for changing the pitch of different sections of roof, so you can lower the pitch on the house and then increase it on the gazebo.

I love the house. You did a great job! Yes, sometimes the building goes on for hours and it gets tedious and confusing. But the result was worth it!

Yes, the house is quite lovely.  I like to build, but after awhile, I just get bored and want to play, but I love looking at what other people have done and how they decorate.  You did a great job. :)

Thanks everyone! Your encouragement is REALLY appreciated. I had a house plan I tried to follow but it didn't turn out as well as I wanted it too. I might go back and change a few more things but that will definitely be later on down the road. I am quite new to the building scene so my houses are still very generic :P I don't know a lot of tricks and tips yet!

Really? What's it called?

Yeah, I'm so ready to get back to playing now! I feel like I've lost track of all the requirements I still have for Charlotte. Haha

When you go to the roof section in the Build Menu, there are 2 little square buttons right above the "roof height" slide bar. One of those is a tool for you to drag the height of a single roof at a time. The other is probably "remove all roofs" or something.

Oh okay, Thanks! I'll go try that out later today when I can play.

Your house is gorgeous Kattiq - what a great job!!

Naga is right - I've accidentally removed my roof many times from clicking the wrong button.  I found the roof pitch tool confusing at first, but all you have to do is click the button and then put your curson on the roof section you want to change.  Hold down the left mouse button and drag to increase or decrease the pitch of the highlighted roof segment.  Rinse, repeat as needed.

That's it in a nutshell, Kattiq. Sorry I couldn't be more specific, I was too tired to open my game again to check for specific placement and name of the button.

Your house is so cute! I love the outside colours and the gazebo. And of course the cherry blossom tree!

Thanks for all your help guys! I feel kind of dumb for not seeing that button before!
Here's the edited version of the roof now. I'm still not done with landscaping but I have no ideas at the moment :P

Well, I find that one's favorite statues surrounded by some plants always make nice space fillers.  As do fountains.

Wow, once you changed the roof pitch the outside appearence of the house look AWESOME.  ;D
