I don't think I have ever had a sim take this long to show up after they have passed.  Thanks for the comments.  I am trying to get some closure on my stories, so when I move, I can play the Baby Boomer challenge, my favorite. :)

Somewhere in Bridgeport:

Monica knew she had to leave, get out of Bridgeport and go back to Sunset Valley, but didn't know how the plan was going to go.  She had to talk to Leighton, but he was not going to take to the news too well, after all, she had just had triplets and one was a boy, which means, he was next in line to be leader of their so called "cult".  Monica was not going to let that happen to her baby boy.  She had been doing some research at the hospital and had been experimenting in a drug that was suppose to wipe the memory of the sims past that took the drug.  They would remain friends, but would have no knowledge of anything else, but how does she give it to Leighton without raising any questions.  Only one way to find out and that was to talk to Leighton.

Monica:  I need to talk to you Leighton.
Leighton: What now, I am really not in the mood to listen to your gibberish.
Monica:  Well, I am leaving and taking the kids.  I want to be with my family, even though I am not part of the family unit or even recognized as being Joslin's mother, I still want a new life and it does not include you or Bridgeport.

Leighton:  You can't do this to me.  You can't take away my kids, they are mine too, ya know.

Monica:  Listen, those kids will be taken care of and will be given the best.  I do have skills you know and I can fend for myself, without you or anyone else.  You don't love me, I am just a trinket to you.

Leighton:  You cannot hide from me or the others.  We will find you and those kids.  I do love you Monica, please do not do this.

Monica:  I have not been happy for a long time, please understand.  I want a life of my own, with the children.  I need to prove to others that I am not a bad person.  My parents did not raise me that way.
Leighton:  Woman, you have given me a major headache now.  I can't even think.  We will talk about this in the morning.
Monica:  Here, take this and lie down and your headache will be gone in just a few minutes.
Leighton. You want me to trust you, oh well, my head is splitting, let me have it.

Leighton:  I feel better already.  A little dizzy though.  Oh hey Monica, I didn't see you come in. *ah, it worked, he thinks we are just friends now*
Monica:  Just thought I would stop by, I need to go home now, you take care Leighton.

After Leighton went to bed, she stood there a moment and watched him sleep.  She felt relieved that there would be no more problems, but she also felt sad.

Monica went and collected the babies and left, never to see Bridgeport again or those bad people.

Hey not everyone in Bridgeport is bad, it's just coincidence that nearly every original townie hates children, is crazy, or mean spirited or something!  Hmm, I think I'm arguing against myself here LOL  Maybe it's in the water?

Great update, it's good to see Monica turning her life around, she was one of my favorite antagonists, and I look forward to her attempt at redemption.

Well, I didn't mean all of them were bad, just the vampires that were trying to take her babies.  I love BP, but in this story, she is referring to the vampires.  Now I have to come up with another storyline.  I have 6 seperate families I go back and forth to now in SV, sheesh, lol.

LOL well I do mean that at least 80% of them are bad, Bridgeport is filled with mean townies, especially the adult ones.  Elspeth Cook's parents are hideously awful people.  I love Bridgeport, but not it's original inhabitants.

I'm curious about your remark that Monica isn't recognized as being Joslin's mom: did you move Monica and Leighton as a household to Bridgeport, or did you start a new Bridgeport and grab them from CAS (thereby leaving the original pair in SV)? I know both cases will result in family ties being broken for the Monica in Bridgeport.

I moved Monica and Leighton seperately to BP.  When I moved Monica in the bin and then moved her to BP, she lost all family ties.  Now then, I just moved her back to SV with her triplets and I moved them out together and now her babies are just her best friends.  I thought if you moved them out together, the family ties would stay intact.  I knew that when you changed towns, they would lose the relationships. Now her own babies are not recognized as her children.  Good grief, oh well.  Guess you can't have everything, lol.  I guess the changing towns is what does it. :)

Awesome update! Monica well I didn't like her than and I don't like her now. She will have to prove she's good. Until she does, my original feelings for her remain!

@Esther: Hehe isn't that a bit harsh? I mean, I kinda though she was a none-too-nice person, but now I'm suspending judgement until we hear more. Isn't that the fairer course of action?
Oh wait. Let me guess. You don't want to be fair on her ;D
