On the dynasty front, I did have Nathan working at the bistro, but, I decided to have him quit and work on his gardening and sculpting.  I am so much farther behind in this one, for some reason, as I was in the other one.  Jessica is going to fish and take over painting, so when Agnes passes away, Jessica can do the portraits.  I can't seem to get a feel for this one, but I guess when things start rolling more, I will then.  It is so hard to start a dynasty, but I don't know which is harder, starting one or keeping it going and making sure eveeryone is doing or has what they are suppose to.  At least Agnes has Nathans and Jessica's portraits done and up to date, so that is a good thing.  Nathan only has two friends, two blackops and he does have the three lifetime rewards.  I am sure it will be fine, so I will keep my fingers crossed on this one.  I know it is hard to comment on every story, but sometimes I see no one has commented and I feel bad, but everyone has a life too, so it is hard to comment on every update.  I try to, but with the hours I work for the four days I do work, I do not really comment too much, but I do read, probably all of the stories.  Oh well, off to sculpt some more, lol. :)

It will pick up Salty! You're doing awesome! I think the hardest thing is starting one. How little money you have and how slow it comes in at first is ridiculous! I've got the opposite problem now! I have over 5 million dollars! Well the Halliwell's do, I just wish I had that lol.

Sometimes it's hard to think of anything to say, one starts to feel silly just endlessly repeating 'yay' 'good job' 'cute nooboos' and the like.  I like this story though, I hope you don't get burned out, and I hope your sims are able to get on track again :)

Good luck

I agree with you on that one.  I think I have probably repeated myself a couple of times and after I did, I felt really silly.  Either way, I mean what I say when I comment on a story, if I repeat it, just means it was twice as good, lol.  Thanks though and I am sure it will be fine. :)

I am so guilty of reading and not posting so I am sorry about that. Your dynasty is great I look forward to reading more.

As for the hardest part I think getting through the days where nothing much happens is the hardest. Watching endless hours of someone sculpting almost made my brain melt.

I love reading everyone's stories.  Not only are they brilliantly creative and fun but I have learned a lot about the game from these dynasty threads.  Keep up the great work, Salty - things will fall into place for you!

I decided to have a go at a dynasty myself and will be creating a thread this evening after I get my screenies uploaded to photobucket.  My founder is not nearly as handsome as Nathan, though.   ;)

You're only as old as you feel!  ;D I remember whining over in my Dynasty earlier, and I'm only 29 so what was my excuse?  :D

I prefer not to think of myself as an old fogey but rather a bottle of nectar or a painting that has increased in value over the years.   ;)

I have to laugh, though, one of the things that attracted me to this community was reading Pam's dynasty posts and catching references to Buster Brown and such.  I was born in '63, so I actually remember those things!

It was a rough teen time for my two girls, so much drama, tears, laughter and heartbreak.  Before I start on this journey of telling my story, let me say to begin with, Monica, as a teen, met this young man in the park named Christopher Steele.  Of course, they were just friends, but she had a huge crush on him.  Nothing ever came of anything until they turned young adult, that is when it all happened.

As you can see, that is not Jessica.  Monica had no way of knowing that Jessica had had a crush on Christopher, so when he had come by the house, it was love at first sight for Monica and Chris and things progressed:

He spent one night and then it happened.  They were engaged, imagine how that went over with poor Monica, not too well to say the least.

And then she went after poor Chris, who had no idea was going on.

He tried apologizing, for whatever it was he did and I guess those baby blues won the battle.....for now.

Monica was not going to be slighted and she was out for revenge, I almost hate to think what that woman is capable of.  Agnes tried talking to her, but it was no use, there was going to be a wedding, whether Monica liked it or not.  Let the fight begin...

How cool is that, I got the best of both worlds, Agnes to start out the young dynasty with painting and cooking and Chris to bring those beautiful blue eyes and that mouth into the generations to come, hopefully.  I was amazed that he was still ten days from being an elder when Monica turned young adult.  Unfortunately, he won't be with the family as long as someone that is YA, but that is ok, I had never thought of using Chris with the first generation. YAY! :)

I have been playing this dynasty for hours and have come up with some interesting twists, whether or not this one will go into the hall of fame, which I doubt, because I have been so wrapped up with Christopher joining the family, that I have not progressed as well with the dynasty requirements like I should have, so this might just be an interesting read, to say the least and I will continue on with some kind of story line.  If I do happen to make the deadlines before Nathan is heading towards the end of elder hood, then that would be a plus.  I hope you enjoy it.  Now on for more updates and a wedding....

First, before the wedding, my dear Agnes has her elder birthday and she has issues.  She is my one and only beautiful bride that I will cherish and love forever.

Wow, does turning elder make you that weak that you can't even open your dresser draw, sheesh.

I guess I shouldn't laugh, she is an amazing woman and a wonderful mother and she had a blast preparing for the wedding.

All of the guests had arrived and what a mixture that was.

The bride and groom were ready to take the leap.

I had not really known Christopher too long, but I was starting to wonder about him when him and Jessica were dancing and a pretty girl walked by and he had to watch her while he was dancing with his new bride, hmmm.

The party was a huge success, except Monica played a trick on VJ and asked him to flirt with the bartender, only thing is, I think the bartender liked it.

The two sisters did some dancing and I was hoping some bonding of their own, only time will tell about those two.

Just read this story, Salty and terrific as usual.  Love the girls and the way the story is running.  Sure wish I had a sister I could chat with about Sims.  My family barely tolerates my addiction, though dh  does listen attentively as I ramble on about them.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!
