Nathan:
When I first heard the news of Monica's return, the first thing I felt was panic. I thought the family was doomed again. I knew I had to go and see her and try and convince her to leave town.
When I walked in her little house that she had fixed up and saw those kids, my grandkids, I melted. They were adorable and seemed happy and healthy.
Monica told me what had happened in Bridgeport with Leighton and I started to understand a few things about Monica. I didn't want to rehash old memories, so I was trying to give Monica the benefit of the doubt. She wanted no problems and told me she would even stay away from the family if that is what I wanted. She just wanted to at least try and have a decent relationship with her daughter and grandson.
I left feeling somewhat better, but still had reservations. After I got home, Jessica asked me where I had been. I told her the truth, because I felt she deserved to know that Monica was living here in Sunset Valley. She was not happy, to say the least.
She told me that she would not live in the same town with Monica and that I betrayed her.
She finally calmed down some and I apologized for not telling her sooner.
I told her, at least give Monica a chance to prove herself and that she was going to be a renowned surgeon and I thought it would be kind of neat to have a doctor in the family. We hugged and chatted about other things.
In other news, Chris has finally made a few appearances, but will not go near the ambrosia that we put out for him to eat. Jessica is so upset and has tried to beg Chris to eat the Ambrosia.
The only thing Chris seems to be interested in, is playing foosball and sleeping.
All we can do is hope that Chris finally eats the ambrosia and Jessica will go back to her normal self. I am really starting to worry about her.
