After Monica's death, we all were kinda able to breath a little easier. I had a long talk with Amanda and she said she was done. She just wanted to lead a normal life here with her family. I told her, she didn't have a family anymore and I wanted her to leave and Chad was staying with me.
She told Chad she was going away for awhile, but she would keep in touch. It was odd, he didn't seem real upset to see her go, maybe because she had not been around for a few days.
She took one more look around and left. She found a place down by the beach and we found out, she got a job the same place Jolina was working.
That same evening, Chad turned into a teenager and he looked more like me than Monica at this point, I can't believe the resemblence.
Jessica came to me one day, frantic. Chris had lost his deathflower and he was already 95 and she wanted to know if I had another one. I had just planted the 5 that I had and they would not be ready for a few days. She was so upset, but there was nothing I could do to make them grow any faster.
She knew he didn't have much time and he had wanted another baby for quite some time, so I guess they had spent some time together one night to see if she could grant his wish.
Our family is dwindling and as soon as Joslin becomes a young adult, she said she was going to do some traveling and I told her I would fund her trip. Jolina fell in love with the repairman and I made a video of their devotion to each other. I hope it will be passed down, to let other descendents of the Redhouse family, see what love is all about. Maybe Agnes and I will be together again some day, who knows. Only the powers that be can give me that answer, in the mean time, I will take one day at a time and expect nothing, but love and safety for my family.
I wish most people could experience the kind of love that Jessica and Chris have, it is nothing short but amazing. I think that night worked, because Jessica ran to the bathroom, more times than I care to remember.
And then it was confirmed, Chris was going to be a daddy again and he was thrilled and just hoped he would be here to at least hold his child before Mr. Grim came to take him to his final resting place.
And then one evening, Jessica went into labor and we have another boy, Perry Redhouse.
Agnes pays a visit very rarely anymore, but usually spends her time in Joslin's room reading. It is sort of like she is her guardian angel and she is watching over her.
Joslin had to go the the diner for some opportunity and when she came out, she came face to face with Amanda. She said they just stood there and before Joslin left, she thought she would give Amanda something to remember her by for old times sake...
The portraits that Joslin paints are nothing short of amazing. They are so life like and she has gotten so talented on the guitar. She has maxed that one out and learned 100% of the songs and now she is playing the piano.
