Lights and sounds were flashing all around me. All I could think of was saving Callisto and Alejandro.
I struggled against the forceful wind that was pushing me back.
Where was I?
What was happening?
I didn't even need to ask those questions. I was sure. I was so, so sure.
As fire, earth and water whipped around me, I felt around for a book. The book. The Immortal Dynasty.
Amongst the haze of dirt and wind, I scribbled down a note and shoved it in the book.
"Luna!," I heard grandad screaming. I needed to hurry. I tucked the book into Callisto's crib. I kissed my baby on her head, as a tear rolled down my cheek. "I love you, Callisto" I said. Those would be the last words I'd speak to my daughter.
The wind broke down the roof, and I scrambled through the wreckage. He was there. They both were.
I grabbed the hands of my mother and my grandad. We stood there, alone, as the Earth started to crumble down upon us.
We started to pray. We prayed to Hermes. We prayed to Hermes, the messenger of the Gods and the guide to the underworld. We prayed for them to take her away. Anywhere.
A blinding light shone from behind the chaos, forcing us to close our eyes. The wind still whipped the Earth around us, pulling us further and further in.
I opened my eyes for a moment. We were no longer on Earth. He was coming to claim us.
We had fallen to Hades.
