After I had revealed the truth to Luna, life went back to normal. Well, as normal as our family gets.
The adults worked, the kids went to school. Of course, everyone had spare time to do what they liked the most.

Carey's elder birthday quickly came around. I couldn't believe it. It seemed liked yesterday he became my own.
We had a gathering with friends, Aries fiance and Orion's children.

The guests were just about to leave when someone gasped. I turned to see the Grim Reaper. He had come to claim Aries fiance, Jeanette Russo.

Although my heart was aching for Aries, I had something more important playing on my mind. I seized Luna's arm and whispered urgently "Do you recognise that man in the black cloak?".
I was relieved that she had no idea who he was. This wasn't the "Grim" that had visited her.
That meant that immortality of our family would save us all, as opposed to what Luna was afraid of.

I ushered off the rest of the guests to let Aries have his space. I knew he loved Jeanette more than life itself.
Before I got in the door, I heard him whisper "I'm so glad I wasn't the child destined for immortality... I couldn't live forever without you Jeanette..."

I gulped. No, he wouldn't have to live forever without his love. But I would. I'd have to live centuries without my love.
I walked up to Carey, feeling like I would break down if I tried to explain how I felt right now.
But when I looked in his eyes, all my problems faded away.

In his eyes, I found comfort.
In his eyes, I found love.
In his eyes, I found the knowledge that even if he wasn't here in person, he'd always be with me in spirit. He'd always be in my heart.

R.I.P. Jeanette. Although you weren't a part of the family you were a part of Aries' family and life, for that we honour you. Kleenex for Aries.
You've played too much TS3 when ... your 13 month old's babble sounds like Simlish!

Happy birthday Carey and R.I.P. Jeanette. I'm glad Luna didn't recognize Grim. So who told her she would go to Hades?!?!? Oh right she was talking to herself. But why on earth would she tell herself she was going to Hades? This is weird and awesome at the same time!

Obviously. I can't see a sane person telling themselves they were going to Hades haha.

I don't like to double post, but I just wanted to say that the next update might be a little while away. I'm going to finish the career challenge before I keep playing my dynasty game :)

Your story is very well thought out and written. I love the hook with the Grim Reaper it really adds to your story and kept me reading. I'm anxious to see how it all turns out.
