I'm the kind of person that gets really into things, and I'm a little OCD. I just couldn't keep playing my game until I had a solid reason for Mercury to want to go through with the whole Immortal Dynasty.

I'm so with you on that as it just seems selfish of the immortals to keep living whilst their partners and siblings die.  Your reason was very solid and such a good one and you tell a great story.  Your pictures are excellent too.

The passing of Agnes was handled beautifully, both by the game - with those duplicate paintings - and by you, with the touching reconciliation where Agnes explained why she had been so neglectful as a mother.

Luna (and you) look delightful.  Thank goodness she's your immortal, seeing your lookalike getting old is going to be weird enough, without having to witness her death as well.

I've very much enjoyed reading this.

You're whole immortal family is so pretty! But I especially love Luna of course, she looks prettier than her mom! Haha
And Aries looks like of like a stud muffin in his birthday picture..

So sorry to see Agnes pass, but you handled it in such a beautiful and touching way. *sniffle*

Happy Birthday to the triplets and to Luna - they are all so lovely.  I'm excited to see what Luna gets into now that she's a teenager.

Thanks Kattiq and Katluvr.
I agree that Luna looks better than Jupiter - Jupiter's nose was tiny and up really high, and she was as thin as a stick :D
Luna looks more like Carey :)

Loving the story

Just caught up from beginning to now, must say I like your Dynasty and your writing style. Thank you for that!

I like the background with yours, being a history fanatic myself.

Though I think Luna is going to be my favorite of all of your immortals. The cute fishing girl...

Thanks everyone ;D
Before I attempted this dynasty, I was really nervous about posting a story on the forum, but you all make me feel confident about it :)

Luna is my favourite too so far. She's so fun to play as. As a child, if I didn't set anything up for her, she would eat all the fruit in her inventory (I'm talking 40 pieces of fruit at a time!) and now that she's grown up (and I've taken the fruit away from her :D) she just stands there talking to herself :D

That is too funny! What are her traits again?

Her traits are Angler, Loves Outdoors, Insane and Charismatic.
I have no idea why she just stood there eating fruit. It happened more than once!
Maybe it's the insanity kicking in :D

It could be, it could be. I was thinking maybe she was a slob (they lick plates) or neurotic. Insane fits too. :D

That makes two of us then. :)

I can see why she is your favorite. lol she sounds like a fun handful to say the very least then! But that is really hilarious that you did that!

Before I attempted this dynasty, I was really nervous about posting a story on the forum, but you all make me feel confident about it :)

You have nothing to be nervous about, your story is outstanding and your sims are very engaging!  But even so, in my opinion the people who post regularly on this forum are all incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful.  I can't imagine anyone criticizing your work.  The forums are also excellently moderated so that if someone goes rogue and starts behaving hurtfully it will be taken care of quickly.  I understand how scary it is to put something you pour so much of your time and self into out there for others to see and I'm so happy you took a chance anyway.  :)

Luna is wonderful, although I don't think I'd want to be in the same room with her after she scarfed down a pile of fruit... *phew*  I can't wait to see how her insane trait plays out as she grows up!  Jemma in my dynasty is insane (I wasn't brave enough to try it with an immortal heir) and she is funny to watch.

Thank you so much.
It was the kindness of the people on the forum that made me decide that I would give it a go. I'm really glad I did :)

I gave Luna insane because I had an empty slot for her traits. I decided that she may as well get an interesting one :D
