Thanks ILoveDolls. I can't believe I'm not a teen anymore!
Oh my. I turned 29 in November. What I can't believe is I'm almost 30!  :'(

Aww. It's okay, I don't think that's old. Just mature :)

On the game front, my game just keeps crashing. Every time I think to myself "I'll save in one Sim hour", the game crashes. Then if I decide to save as soon as the though pops into my head, it crashes before I get to the options menu.
It's as though the game just knows when I'm about to save.

So in the last few days, I've only got 1.5 sim days done. Though I did completely shift my garden, which took forever because it was so big. I'm hoping by tomorrow I'll be able to supply an update.

Thanks! Sorry about your game. I don't know why this game is so buggy!

It does have a lot of bugs, but I guess the game it's self holds a lot of content. So in comparison to the amount of content it holds, it's probably relatively small, but to those who play it, it's quite a lot.

I went to play it before, and it ran smoothly for a while. I saved it just before guests started arriving for Careys birthday party. But when he went over to the cake to blow out the candles, it crashed again. Hopefully in a couple of weeks, when I have a new computer, things will run more smooth.

True. To the people that don't play alot it probably doesn't seem as buggy as it does to us who play it all the time. Congrats on the new computer! It should definitely play better!

I'm hoping so. When I go to the computer shop, I'm going to tell the guy that I specifically want the computer to be compatible with the Sims 3 on the highest settings  :D

My name is Jupiter Copernicus, and I'm next in line to become immortal.

My dad revealed a secret to my brothers and I when we were just teenagers. It was up to our family to stop the work of Hades, the lord of the underworld.
Each first born would take on a great responsibility to uphold this task, one rewarded by immortality.
It was both a gift and a curse - one that none of us wanted to bear.
But we would. To save our family, and to save innocent lives, we would.

To keep this dynasty going, I had decided to document our family through portraits and ice sculptures.
I'm a savvy sculptor, ambitious and quite artistic, so it should be easy for me.
I also like the comfort of my home and hate the outdoors.
My home is marvelous; filled with the most expensive of things. People often think of me as a snob, but I say if you can afford the best, buy the best.

I am currently a self-employed sculptor. I've got various awards, and am already at level 9 of my career having supermaxed the skill of sculpting. I told you I was a good sculptor.

My families lives had been fairly quiet since my dad had eaten ambrosia. We all knew it had happened, but it wasn't something that was ever brought up.
It was a relief when Carey's birthday came around - it gave us all an excuse to break the hovering silence.

Although we invited many people to help celebrate, Carey was quite content dancing by himself.

But when it came to blowing out the candles, it was a nice big affair.

However, Carey wasn't the only one glowing. Dorie Hart had reached the end of her life.
I'd never seen death before, but I guess I had expected it to be mortifying.
But Dorie kept her big smile, and continued on with the birthday celebrations despite her death.

I could only hope that when death came knocking on our families door that we would be as prepared. But something deep down inside me told me that it wouldn't be so.

Lol. Baby, it gets worse!!! Enjoy your 20s, wrap things up in the 30s...and well, once I get past the 30s in 8 or 9 years I'll let you know what comes next ;D

Meh, it's called middle age and it is way weirder than the 30s.  On one hand you don't sweat the small stuff anymore, which is wonderful.  On the other hand, you're meeting people your age who are grandparents.  :-\  Body parts are starting to show signs of wear and a bad dismount off the toilet in the morning can ruin your whole day.  You're no longer the youngest person in your office and you start saying things like 'When I was your age...'  Despite the almost constant reminders of aging, it sure beats the alternative (I'm in no hurry to meet the Grim).

Great update as always, Alexandria!  Happy Birthday Carey and RIP Dorie.

Most of the time I don't have the volume turned up on my game, so I've only ever seen the Grim make an appearance, which is pretty comical.  Last night when my butler bit the dust I actually had my headset on so I heard him, too.  He's freakin' scary with the sound on!!!     :o

I know I'm not that old, but I knew this girl since she was 1 years old. I watched her grow up, now she's 18, graduating school AND getting married. I told her she makes me feel ancient! Grim is hilarious, but when he just pops up out of nowhere, it is a little freaky!  ;D

Thanks everyone.

@Katluvr
You're making me want to stay 20 forever now haha. More so than before, anyway :D
The Grim music is very dramatic, and a bit creepy when you're playing at 3am!
