That photo really shows how thin Jupiter is. I think she's the thinnest Sim I've ever seen... well maybe second - Morgana was like a stick as well.
I think they both need a bit more meat on them

I like the happy vibe that's throughout my dynasties house at the moment I'm not looking forward to losing Agnes though. I hope she'll be one to live longer than normal.

I'm trying to be able to make up my next update, but my disc drive keeps crashing.
My birthday is only 2 days away, and I asked for an external disc drive (this is the second internal one - different brands - that won't work).

So I'm going to keep playing and hope that it lets me proceed at least a little bit. If not, there might not be an update for 2-3 days.

EDIT: I was able to get enough screenshots for another update before my disc drive cracked it, so there will be an update within the next half an hour

Carey was a great father-to-be.
When he wasn't earning promotions at the hospital, he spent his time taking care of every one of Jupiter's needs.
He read all the baby books, massaged her, and frequently interacted with the nooboo.




Jupiter wasn't the only one expecting - Ellen and Orion were also expecting their first child.



Both Jupiter and Orion were so excited, and neither minded what gender their nooboo was, just as long as they'd be able to live a full life with them.

As the day came near an end it was finally time for my elder birthday.


Agnes and Aries quickly got to work on my portrait and ice sculpture.
The final touches of my room in the immortal museum were done.


The time had come. Today was the day I would become an immortal.
I took one of the life fruit I had harvested, and took a death fish that Orion had caught. My family had all contributed to this moment.
I was so occupied with my thoughts that I didn't notice Jupiter walk in.


Jupiter: Dad.. I.. AHHHH!
I turned as she screamed, and then screamed louder than her.
She was going into labour!


Jupiter: Dad! Stop screaming and take me to the hospital!
And so I pulled myself together and headed towards the hospital.


Carey met us there just in time to hear the doctor say "It's a girl!".
We welcomed our sweet little Luna into the world.


I think that a day more of being mortal was a fair trade for such a precious little gift.

Luna was loved by everyone in the household.
Jupiter and Carey spent lots of quality time with their daughter - they didn't want to miss any part of her growing up.




But Grandma Agnes and I always got a turn to play with her too.




I could tell by the glow around Agnes that she's delighted to see was around her beautiful granddaughter.

Jupiter and Carey weren't the only ones with a new bundle of joy. Orion and Ellen's little boy Hugh was born the day after Luna. He lived with his mother, but Agnes and I make an effort to go around and see our grandson.



Meanwhile, I had business to attend to. It was my 74th day of life, and I was more ready than ever.
It was time to become immortal.

I made up the dish, and put it in the oven.


My insides jumped around like crazy. I was only minutes away from being immortal.
Could I do this? Could I leave my poor Agnes, sons and grandson behind?
I sighed to myself. I didn't have a choice. I needed to do this not only so that things were put right in the world, but so that my family would live in peace in the next life.

I sat at the table and inhaled the aroma. I brought the fork up to my mouth and began to eat.
I felt light. I felt renewed. I felt immortal.
