Loading Screen
« on: February 02, 2011, 11:46:18 PM »
I installed Sims 3 on my laptop, then High End Loft Stuff. Then in the middle, I installed Late Night and its appropriate loading screen (the purple one) came up. Yesterday, I installed the Sims 3 Ambitions and the Late Night loading screen came up. I really want to see the loading screen on my Computer. Can anybody please help me? I seem to need to create a Twinbrook town after the loading screen.

The loading screen will be always the one of the most recent expansion or stuff pack, regardless of the order you installed it.

No, unless you're somewhat of a techie; If I'm correct, you should be able to change the loading screens, not only for the other EP and SP ones, but for pretty much anything you want. The thing is, you would need to change some game files, and this could somehow affect your gameplay. Outmostly, you would have to reinstall the game to fix it. I'll search this further by the morning, or whatever time I wake up at.

I seem to need to create a Twinbrook town after the loading screen.

You can create a game in any of the towns after the loading screen.  You just click the drop down box and select which town you want to use for that game.

That's what I did, but I REALLY want to see the Sims Ambitions' loading screen.

After some searching, I don't think you can change the loading screen back to Ambitions unless you uninstall Late Night and any other EPs or SPs that came after Ambitions. I still think it is possible though, but no one seems to have published anything about it, which means I would have to test it all myself, and sadly I don't have time to do so right now, nor can risk having to reinstall my game. Sorry.
