Question About LTR in Legacies

Hi Everyone,

I'm in the first generation of my legacy family and have a question about LTR like fireproof home, food replicator, no bills ever, etc.

My founder, Jewel, took fireproof home and no bills ever.  I am considering a food replicator, too.  My question is what happens when she dies?  Will the replicator disappear?  Will bills start showing up again? 

I'm trying to decide on LTR for my second generation and if Jewel's LTR die with her then it will affect my choices for Ruby.

Physical LTRs like the moodlet manager or food replicator will still be there when the sim that purchased them dies.  But the non-physical LTRs apply only to the purchasing sim - when that sim is gone, if you want the household to have no bills, another sim will have to buy that LTR.

Thank you!  That helps a lot.  No bills is definitely worth buying each generation, I think, it doesn't cost much and I should be able to get it before the previous gen dies.  Thinking I might save up for the moodlet manager rather than a food replicator if it persists after death.

Food replicators persist after death, too. It's just an appliance in the kitchen. Downside I've seen is it holds only 3 or 4 recipes.

Upside is, get your level 10 cook to make a few perfect recipes, and store them. This is even better if your cook doesn't go into culinary field.
