A Husband/Wife from Egypt
« on: January 31, 2011, 01:36:23 PM »
Hello, I'm new to the forum. Decided to start my own Immortal Dynasty. My founder is going to be of Arabic descent, maybe Samira Habib or smth like that. As you know traveling before the second generation is a YA is not allowed. But I would like to get a suitable spouse for my founder. As you understand, he's going to be from Egypt. My question is: Are there any sims in the Sunset Valley of Egyptian descent, or do they (Egypt natives) travel occasionally so my sim can catch one of them? Or at least are there any Arab-like (darker skin, other attributes) sims in SV? Thanks

Well, it's too bad the Alvi family does not have a female. You could steal her away. :) But, I don't think any other SV townies really fit what you're looking for. So, my suggestion is to simply scope out the regular tourists that show up — check Central Park and the library regularly.

EDIT: Sorry, at first I missunderstood that you are looking for female spouse, so I recommended these links. As for males, I can't really think of any male townie to recommend. Maybe Artie Page, but he is homeless at start, and not really Arabic descendant..

Ah, yes. Good for you, Anushka. I forgot about Ayesha.

Ayesha really suits well! Thanks for the suggestion. So I'll change the founder's gender to male. Thanks Metro as well!

For Egyptian decent, if you have World Adventures, you can go and find a Egyptian girl there.

Till yet I have only found Alvi family in Sunset Valley.

Top Fact: "Ayesha" and "Ansari" are completely Indian names. You may have seen the name of the spa is Sharma Day Spa, and Sharma is a common surname in India.

Something else you could try is just hanging out at the park (because Dynasty founders aren't busy enough!) Sometimes you get tourists from the WA locations visiting and you can befriend them like any other Sim. They do have a tendency to go home suddenly but if you get the relationship high enough you can then invite them to visit.
You've played too much TS3 when ... your 13 month old's babble sounds like Simlish!

Ah, thanks for the info. Much appreciated. So, sims from other worlds can travel to SV? I never knew that before! Though, that's not surprising, I've seen some sims from France or Egypt in China. They're marked as [Sim Name], Explorer, right?

Thanks for the name info, but the problem is that Dynasty founders are not allowed to travel before the 2nd generation hits YA. That's why I'm looking for THEM to come to ME.

Foreign visitors also like to go to the park with the water falls, Stoney Falls it's called.  I've often seen Chinese and Egyptian citizens there.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!
