Uploading worlds?

I recently created my first world on The Sims 3 and it will show up on the game launcher, but when I try to upload it, it doesn't do anything. Nothing happens, it doesn't go to Installed Content. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone know how to fix it?!  It is really frustrating me... I worked so hard on it!

Wait, do you want to install it into your game, or do you want to upload it?

Well, it is on the game launcher now. But when I check the box to upload it, nothing ever happens. It doesn't go to the installed content.

Uploading will not go directly to installed content.  Upload is used for sending your new world to the Sims 3 Exchange (or for uploading objects, patterns, Sims etc.).
 
If you want to play your world you need to export it from CAW, then browse to the world file on your hardrive and double-click on the new world to install it.  The next time you start a new game, you'll be able to select that world from the dropdown.
