Advancing through Knowledge of the Past Adventure in China

Hi.

Though I've played this adventure several times, this is the first time I've run into this particular issue.  In order to continue advancing through this particular adventure chain, I need to win a spar tournament.  The problem is that whenever I call to spar against a ranked spar challenger, I keep getting a response saying that the challenger can't make it.  And it won't progress to a different "opponent".  I looked at the residents in this particular "world" (including the shop merchants) but the particular Sim does not exist in this game.  So I am stuck. Has anyone come across this "bug"?  Is there a way to work around it?

I'm not sure if this will help, but the only thing I can think of is to maybe try resetting everything via Nraas MasterController. May need MasterController Cheats to do this function.

Using Nraas MasterController in your Sim's home town, click on Mapview > City Hall > Nraas > MasterController > Town > Reset Everything.

This may help reset the saved-game and find a suitable opponent for your Sim to spar with.
