  • Tribble is as Tribble does
I am not going to get this done, I haven't even had the chance to open Sims 3, let alone Sims 4 - 3 post graduate subjects in 14 weeks - is a lot, it turns out and the most intensive part of the trimester is to come - 3 assignments all due between now and 29th November worth between 40 and 50 percent of the subjects. Sorry I won't be scoring a belly flop for you swan song, but I can still email you and the team in a panic just before the end of the event, so you don't feel I'm abandoning you if you like :D (And I really was looking forward to failing (and flailing) spectacularly in this event as well - names for the first part were going to be Cob and Pen Swan.)

Regards,

Dek

Mark me as DNF on this one.  Got almost all the way through part one but real life got in the way, so I won't be able to finish. Thank you Metro for all your hard work over the years. These challenges have kept the Sims interesting and fun for me.

Thank you, @Eighty8Keys, for all your participation over the years. Given that you play the piano, I am sharing my personal favorite piano recording.

That was wonderful. If only I could play like that. Thanks for sharing this.

Finally done! I was not sure I would manage to finish it. A fun but very long challenge  :)

131592 (Museum simoleans) + 193000 (Townie family goals) - 22752 (Speed test) = 301840

Great challenge! (2 for the price of 1, really)

148080 (Museum funds) + 193000 (Townie family goals) - 10032 (speed test) = 331048

Honestly, I was not 100% sure I would get my files done in time. This was quite an effort. Whoever came up with such a demanding challenge needs a good kick in the shins. Plus, I juggle many games, and sometimes, it's hard to break away from certain ones. :)

110529 (Museum Simoleans) + 63000 (Townie stuff) - 29528 (Speed Test) = 144001.

I'm very sorry to say its a DNF for me. My midterms were brutal, and I lost a lot of playtime.

I plan on uploading my score here after finals when I have some free time, there's no way I'm leaving these files unfinished.

Thanks for an amazing challenge metro!

A long challenge and  I appreciate the thought that went into the different parts (and into all of the challenges!) Here's my score:

Museum simoleons (141182) + Townie Family Goals (134000) - Speed test (74923) = 200259

And that's a wrap on the 2024 Tournament season, my lovely simmers. :) @Nandarelle has been playing the forum challenges for a long time and was not as active this year, but she put it all together when it counted and took the top spot for the Finale—well done!

I'll head off now and compute the final ranking, but from where I am sitting @Rebelangel does not need to worry about her top position.

And so it comes to this moment, my friends, where I say farewell. Thank you so much for participating in the challenges and the Dynasties over the years. As I said in the introductory ruleset, I am not leaving the forum. I will remain an active administrator assisting @MrsFlynn. And the remaining challenge team members know how to pull my chain if they need help for 2025.

I wish every one of you the best.

Congratulations for your win @Nandarelle ! We both made the same score with part 2 but you were really best with the speed test (and the museum!)

I'm curious to know what you put on your museum and how you made it so quick!
For my part, I got 12 different omniscan treasures (impossible to get the 13th!) , the very expensive violin, a plate of ambrosia (6176 $) and a sculpture from the campsite mascot worth 4971$.
Searching the omniscan treasures took me more than one week sim after I finished all the part 1 requirements but it was worth it.

Thank you again Tom for your kindness and everything you did here. That was a great tournament season ! Wish you the best too!!

I haven't had time to write out my strategy today, but I promise it is coming!
