Sims4 update won't download

Hi

I've tried to download the new update but my C drive is full. Ive tried to delete stuff off my laptop. but not much space has been opened up. Is there a way of playing without downloading the update?

Any advice on what requirements I need on a laptop for gaming? As i'm thinking i need to upgrade. This one i have was to just do general stuff.

I haven't been keeping up with what's a good pc/laptop for Sims lately, so I don't feel comfortable recommending anything.

However, You may want to ask about that in the thread linked below. PuzzlezAddict may be able to help.  Give them an idea of your budget and country, they should be able give some suggestions.
