A couple questions:
  • Moving into an empty household: so we cannot evict Sims in order to move into an occupied house?

Correct.

  • On the last day when we can move to a new house: do we also check the lot value in build mode and add that to our total?

Thanks!

Absolutely.

Can the sims interact with objects on the lot, e.g., use the refrigerator and oven to cook food?

Haha - of course. :) You don't want them to starve.

Welcome to the forum. Your math is escaping me. Did you use the spreadsheet?

Yes I did. I think the PM should be 14 instead of 7. Does that help?

How many different unique parties did you throw?

EDIT: Never mind. I see how you got your score.

Your number of unique parties is 14, so that makes your PM 1.00 + (14 X .05) = 1.7

383453 X 1.7 = 651870.

Well, I lost almost two weeks of real time somehow ... guess an employer not wanting you to return following leave will do that sort of thing to you.

Anyway, I only got to Wednesday of week 1, and I've got the most horrible of headaches for whatever reason, and with only 2 1/2 hours to go real time here, I'm calling it quits.

I ended up with

Total lot value: 37229
Unique Events: 3
total Score: 42813.35

'Twas fun trying out different social events.

Will also be keen to see if the plan I had in mind (which did not involve fireworks :D ) would have worked.
