First of all, a HUGE congrats to Dorothy on climbing to the pinnacle of her Interior Decorator career!  *throws rose petals
Auntie Daisey's makeover looks great!  What a tremendous difference!
Great decision living the Roswells' former house for last.
That's such an atrocious-looking, poorly-furnished build; it really needs a makeover!
She is so close to completing all of her requirements now! The rest will be a breeze!

Regarding Prom, my teens have learned they need to show up at school on Thursday, at the latest, to spawn a Principal for Prom.
For my teens, Thursday always spawns a Principal; Friday has never worked.

About Mansion Baron, does their artwork count if you put them all away and place them all again?
When I simply need to complete the first milestone (not worried about lot value), I just place cobwebs and baby paintings. :D

Congrats on the final promotion and the Dream Home Decorator attention! Also for getting all the kids out of toddlerhood! It's too bad about Prom. It's such a bummer that they don't fix that glitch.

So all that's left is the last level of Mansion Baron? Oh my! So close! Great job, Watcher!

Thanks for the info on spawning a new Head. So, even if Dearg & Dixie had gone to High School on the Friday, the Prom still would have cancelled.  ::)

One of the family club activities is painting so the adults & teens are generating paintings so quickly - that 1st milestone will be ticked off really soon

Having to replace the fridge and bookcase each move is more irritating although Dorothy doesn't need to move again.

I've probably had this glitch all through this challenge. Gen 2 stayed in one house and gen 3 only moved once. It was only gen 1, moving around Evergreen Harbour, and now this one that it's become annoying.

Congrats on the final promotion and the Dream Home Decorator attention! Also for getting all the kids out of toddlerhood! It's too bad about Prom. It's such a bummer that they don't fix that glitch.

Once I got into the flow, alternating between joining Dorothy on her gigs and sending her solo, I started to enjoy the Interior Decorator career. To get speedier promotions, solo gigs would be the route. Especially with the Entrepreneur Reward Trait and Negotiating Bonus.

I'm hoping to delay starting Gen 5 until the new EP comes out so Dorothy has plenty of time to get her final residence just right and make lots of the furnishings.

I may regret that, if the new pack comes out with lots of bugs! But I shall choose to be optimistic (and be careful to have a save file!)  :D

My Gen 6 will be busy with other things and WILL have time for love, but WON'T have time to explore a whole new EP - So I'm looking forward to learning from you (and @oshizu if she gets the new EP early too) so I'll know what bugs, etc. there are before my Gen 7, who will be better able to make use of the new pack.

Makey MishMash Legacy 4.6: You Can Leave Your Hat On

Makey MishMash Legacy 4.6: Does Your Mother Know

Previously: Gen 5 met their Founders, Dawn & Michael; Denim and Disco aged into Insider and Art-Lover Children; Dorothy did a successful showbiz makeover for her Aunt Daisy; Dearg and Dixie aged into Self-Assured and Unflirty Teens; Dorothy got her top Interior Decorator promotion and the promise of a feature on TVs Dream Home Decorator programme; Prom was cancelled but Dearg realised he had Amazing Compatibility with Evil, Music-Loving Lorelei Spencer-Kim

L-to-R: Denim, Dale, Dearg, Umber, Dorothy, Dixie, Deco, Disco
4.5.family.jpg
Residence: StrangerVille Overlook, Shady Acres, StrangerVille

Sunday
Dorothy: Come on, Dearg! While it’s still warm enough to swim!
Dearg: I thought I’d ask Lorelei on a date!
Dorothy: I don’t want an Evil daughter-in-law.
Dearg: Mum! I just want a date!
Umber: Who would have thought the river in Mt Komorebi would still be swimmable in Winter?
Dixie: It’s definitely not warm though!
Dearg: I’ll send her a selfie of me in my swimwear…

4.6.1.jpg

Dorothy: Look, Dearg. I know I want grandkids but you need to find the right one.
Dearg: But I have Amazing Compatibility with Lorelei. All the other Teens are just Neutral – bleurgh!
Umber: Keep looking, son. Keep looking. Did you see that Jaxson Landgraab wants to go to the Prom with Dixie as friends.
Dorothy: Well, he’s a fine Green Fiend, if a little Materialistic. His ice-grey hair is a little unusual. I’ve got a gig with his family on Tuesday. I’ll check them out.
Dearg: They're just friends Mum. You know she’s Unflirty.
Umber: Why don’t you ask Karissa Makey out?
Dearg: Dad!
Dorothy: Meanwhile, we’ve all completed the first Milestone of the Mt Komorebi aspiration without freezing to death and the boys have both been blessed.
Umber: Yay! No hard feelings anywhere.

4.6.2.jpg

Dearg: Thanks for all joining me at the bluffs.
Aicha (yellow, Good Self-Assured): I’m glad there’s a bonfire to light, brrrr
Ami (pink, Clumsy Music Lover): No swimming today. Let’s dance.
Shaina (beige, Lazy Foodie): I can’t be bothered. I’m out of here.
Lorelei (hat): There’s no point in doing your homework, when you’re not a watched Sim.
Karissa (seated, Neat Bro): I might be soon though. I’ll stick at it, if that’s OK with you?
Lorelei: Sure. I’m gonna dance with Dearg.

4.6.4.jpg

Dearg: Thanks for staying behind, Lorelei.
Lorelei: Well, it is fun to think I’m helping you annoy your parents.
Dearg: Is that the only reason you stayed?
Lorelei: We-ell, you’re quite cute…

4.6.5.jpg

Monday
Dorothy: Good morning, sleepy head!
Umber: Ah! That was a good night’s sleep. Did Disco get his full 6 hours in the treehouse?
Dorothy: Yes. That’s the last time we need to do that. All the kids have gone off to school.
Umber: And here’s us, still in our nightwear.
Dorothy: You know…with the house being empty…no interruptions…
Umber: Well, it would be a shame not to get some morning glory!
Dorothy: And maybe some afternoon delight?
Watcher: Hey! I thought you were going to do some woodwork together! I mean...forget it!

4.6.6.jpg

Umber: This is very grown-up. A black and white party and we’ve already completed the goals.
Michael: Happy Birthday, Dorothy!

4.6.7.jpg

Dorothy: So, Mr Landgraab, between you all you like Pink, Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple and White? That’s quite a colour palette.
Luca: But no Boho or Patio Décor. Only Modern or Shabby.
Dorothy: You know Shabby overlaps a lot with Boho Décor?
Luca: Just do your best on the new level.
Dorothy: About that, your budget is quite tight for a whole new level…
Luca: Your reputation precedes you. I’m sure we’ll be blown away. And, if not, well Jaxon’s brothers Cade and Jonah are both Evil….
Dorothy: That sounds like a threat!
Luca: We’ll see.

4.6.8.jpg

Dixie: Happy Birthday, Dale!
Dorothy: Happy Birthday. Quick, your newly Self-Assured sister Deco has gone off to fish.
Dale: I’ll join her but first, let me show you my retro dance moves.
Dorothy: That looks like one of your fathers. Oh – you’re Cringe too? And a Loner? Watcher!
Watcher: I kept rolling but it came up 3 times! It must be her destiny!
Dorothy: Oh well. She’ll find her own path. Which reminds me, Dixie. Jaxom Landgraab. He’s just a friend, right?
Dixie: Yes Mum.
Dorothy: That’s good because I met his family and they are not nice people.
Dixie: Jaxom’s OK though.
Dorothy: As a friend? Yes.

4.6.9.jpg

Umber: Look at us, synchronised woodwork! Whoop Whoop!
Dorothy: You’re so funny!
Umber: And I know another thing that will put a smile on your face. Dearg is asking Karissa Makey over for a date.
Dorothy: Oh good. I do hope they put Lorelei out of his head.

4.6.10.jpg

Dearg: First Kiss!
Karissa: That was nice.
Dearg: Yes – nice…

4.6.11.jpg

Dearg: Let’s take a commemorative photo of this “nice” moment.
Karissa: We both like red.
Dearg: And we’re effectively tinted-glasses-buddies.
Karissa: Is that a thing?
Dearg: It’s our thing, I guess. Hey, did you hear that Bob Villareal (Loves Outdoors, Party Animal) has asked Deco to the Prom as friends? Since she Loves Outdoors and wants to be a Party Animal, they’re a pretty good match.
Karissa: We’ve agreed to skip Prom, right?
Dearg: Right.

4.6.12.jpg

Friday
Dorothy: Thank you for coming, Lorelei. I see you’re a Young Adult now.
Lorelei: Yes. I’m a Foodie now.
Dorothy: As well as an Evil Music Lover. Yes. About Dearg…
Lorelei: He was devastated when he realised we could no longer date. Poor boy. How long before he ages up?
Dorothy: At least 12 days.
Lorelei: Nearly 2 weeks? I’m not sure I can wait that long.
Dorothy: Pity!

4.6.14.jpg

Dearg: What do you mean, you can’t wait for me?
Lorelei: I love you, dear boy, but a woman has needs…
Dearg: But…
Lorelei: I’m sorry.
Dearg: At least stay for Mum’s Dinner Party. She’s throwing it so we can all watch Dream Home Decorator. She’s been told one of her gigs is going to feature.
Lorelei: It sounds riveting, sweetheart. Will there be food and music?
Dearg: Absolutely! I’m going to cook something right now!

4.6.15.jpg

Deco: When Mum asked you to cook something, she didn’t mean a birthday cake!
Dearg: Watcher says I’ll be a Maker and now try to be a Soulmate. Lorelei? This is for you, my darling!
Lorelei: You sweet, sweet boy!
Dearg: Not a boy anymore! And Valedictorian to boot!
Deco: Mum’s gonna be mad!

4.6.16.jpg

Dearg: First Kiss! Wow!
Lorelei: Oh Wow!
Dearg: You don’t have to wait for me any longer. You and me? We’ll be Soulmates.
Lorelei: Ha ha ha ha ha!

4.6.18.jpg

Dorothy: Aren’t you watching, Disco? Look – there’s my makeover of Aunt Daisy’s bedroom. I’m so sorry she could be here.
Disco: Check!
Dorothy: I’m getting texts from everyone, congratulating me on the show and wondering if I’ll do makeovers for them. One even suggested I could be a TV star now!
Disco: Mum! I’ve got you in check!
Dorothy: Why is everyone still in the dining room and not watching this?
Disco: Look Dad’s bringing them out now.

4.6.20.jpg

Dearg: Come on! In here!
Lorelei: Let me take my hat off...
Dearg: No - I want you to leave it on.
Lorelei: Oh Dearg, you are a naughty boy.
Dearg: I told you – I’m not a boy any longer!
Lorelei (giggles)

4.6.21.jpg

Saturday
Watcher: Dale, I know you just got voted Jester but you need to go and calm down. You’ve become Hysterical!
Dale: Ho h oho! Oh dear, you’re right…
Edward Makey (Good Geek): I’ll hold the fort here, Dale. See you in five.

4.6.22.jpg

Dixie: Thanks for covering for my sister. She gets so silly with her Cringe jokes and then she’s stressed because of all the people here she doesn’t now.
Edward: I guess it’s not easy being a Loner in this situation. Deco seems OK.
Dixie: Yes, but she’d rather be outside.
Edward: What about you? Do you want to go outside?
Dixie: Why, Mr Edward Makey, what are you suggesting?

Notes
Umber completed the 2nd and 3rd milestones of the Mansion Baron Aspiration. The house is now just £309k out of the necessary £350k to complete. They are increasing the value only by adding made objects (fabricator – Umber & Dearg, woodwork – Umber & Dorothy, painting – Dixie & Dorothy) with the occasional build/buy item needed for skilling/tasks. Existing furniture items in the house are gradually being replaced with made objects unless those are of lesser value/quality.

When Dale rolled Cringe for her 2nd trait (Pinstar), I really did roll twice more. On the 3rd roll of Cringe, I gave in. I do hope she can find her own quirky way. Still, both girls are attractive, Deco in Yellow and Dale in (khaki) Green
Deco Teen.jpgDale Teen.jpg

When Lorelei aged up, I wasn’t sure about whether she was right for Dearg but Amazing Compatibility is hard to argue with. I checked what his trait/aspiration would be before deciding about aging him up (A-grade & Llamacorn Scout). As a Maker, he’s signed on to be apprenticed to his father in the Freelance Crafter career and as an aspiring Soulmate, he will woo Lorelei. He is no longer eligible to be the Gen 5 Heir.

None of the Teens have developed crushes on anyone, yet. Karissa and Edward Makey were both adoptees of Jade after Ridge died. They are Cassia's adoptive siblings but not blood-related.

Oh, Watcher! You are so close to completing the last of Dorothy's requirements, but still haven't chosen an heir!
Great job!

One of the hardest things about having lots of children, imho, is ensuring that they all find a modicum of happiness after they've moved out.
I do NOT want the Costa simverse flooded with Costas as was the case with my Mistura simverse.
(I giggle at how often you and GlazeyLady are throwing around the word "simverse" lately.)

You mentioned that Dearg would become Umber's apprentice. I'd assumed he would move out at the earliest opportunity.
I guess it makes sense that he would wait until the homestead achieves Mansion Baron status.
Craft on, Makeys!

I don't think Dorothy's quite ready for any of her children to move out yet, lol! Dearg might have other plans  ;)

Makey MishMash Legacy 4.7: Live And Let Dai

Previously: The family visited Mt Komorebi; Dearg got cosy with Evil Lorelei at the Bluffs, ignoring his parents concerns; Deco and Dale aged into Self-Assured and Cringe Teens; Dearg discovered no chemistry with Karissa and so he aged up to continue courting Lorelei; Dorothy’s gig was featured on Dream Home Decorator TV programme; Dixie flirted with Edward Makey at the Prom

L-to-R: Denim, Deco, Dearg, Umber, Dorothy, Dale, Dixie, Disco
4.6.family.jpg
Residence: StrangerVille Overlook, Shady Acres, StrangerVille

Sunday
Lorelei: Thanks for inviting me to the Brindleton Bay Museum. Shall we go in? It’s cold out here.
Dearg: How could I be cold when being with you sets me on fire?
Lorelei: You say the sweetest things. By the way, in case you hadn’t noticed, I’m eating for two.
Dearg: My own Lorelei! Will you marry me?
Lorelei: Well, I probably should, shouldn’t I?
Dearg: Yes! Let’s go and tell my family. I’m sure Dixie will have finished admiring the paintings by now.

4.7.1.jpg

Monday
Dorothy: Oh I can’t believe my eldest child is getting married. It was only yesterday…
Dearg: Come on, Mum, hold it together or none of us will get through this.

4.7.2.jpg

Denim: I can’t believe we had to use one of our vacation days for this. Wait! Did you bring a toy?
Disco: Yep! Everyone knows kids find weddings boring. Check your inventory. I bet you’ve got one too.
Denim: Oh yes! Result!
Everyone else: Shhh!

4.7.3.jpg

Dorothy: Oh – this is too wonderful. I’m so happy!
Lorelei: Is your Mum OK?
Dearg: Yes. Thank goodness she’s finished her officiant bit.
Lorelei: Are you sure it’s not because she doesn’t approve of me?
Dearg: She’s cool with it. Especially with a grandchild on the way!

4.7.5.jpg

Umber: To the besht groom EVER! I love you shon! I love ever-one here…even my daughter-in-shlaw. I know she's Evil. Ever-one knowsh she's Evil. But I lover her. I definishly lover her...
Watcher: Maybe you’ve had enough champers?
Umber: Not posshible! Oops. Why ish the floor moving? I think I’ll jusht sit here for a while….

4.7.9.jpg

Dearg: I’m sorry I didn’t have time to get to know your family. Will they mind that they weren’t invited.
Lorelei: They’re just glad I’m bringing an heir into the Spencer-Kim home. Although we’ve got some adopted children already. They’ll love you!

4.7.10.jpg

Umber: Oooo – my head!
Dorothy: Guess what?
Umber: Really? Oh Dorothy, are you pleased?
Dorothy: Of course.
Umber: Me too! Now where’s that paracetamol?

4.7.13.jpg

Christmas Eve
Dixie: Why haven’t I been here before. I love karaoke! And next I’m going to join the family painting that mural.
Deco: This is a fun way to celebrate Christmas Eve. I’m surprised the food van’s shut, though.
Dorothy: I quite like how quiet it is.
Umber: Everyone must be home watching TV
Denim: Not us! We’re karaoke legends
Disco: You definitely put your soul into it!

4.7.14.jpg

Dale: I can’t believe you all went into the city without me. I could have ditched chess club!
Dixie: Oh you didn’t miss much….hardly anyone was around.
Dale: That sounds perfect for a Loner like me. At least I get to decorate the tree. This is fun.

4.7.18.jpg

Christmas Day
Dorothy: Come on kids! I can’t wait any longer. Let’s open the presents while your Dad cooks a grand breakfast.
Denim: I hope I get something good.
Dale: Me too!
Deco: Wow! Can you believe we all got good gifts? No duff ones!
Dorothy: It’s a Christmas miracle.
Dixie: I know what I want….

4.7.19.jpg

Edward: Thanks for inviting me over for Christmas dinner.
Dixie: Dinner & mistletoe?
Edward: You want to kiss me?
Dixie: Quick, while no-one’s watching!

4.7.20.jpg

Dawn: Happy Birthday, boys. How great to have a birthday on Christmas Day!
Denim: Pfft! Hey, I’m Creative now.
Disco: Pfft! And I’m Cringe – like Dad and Dale!
Dixie: Pfft! And I’m a Loner, like Mum and Dale! As well as being Valedictorian like Dearg.
Dawn: Wait! Was it your birthday too, Dixie?
Dixie: It is now! And it’s Edward’s too! He’s now a Good, Geek, Dog Lover.
Dawn: You kids are in such a rush to grow up! There’s plenty of time.

4.7.21.jpg

Edward: Thanks for agreeing to meet me here.
Dixie: I was so pleased you asked that I didn’t even take time to change from my painter clothes.
Edward: You’re not regretting ageing up early then?
Dixie: Not at all. It’s such a relief to skip Prom. Did you hear that Michael, who’s a girl(!), has asked Denim to the Prom as friends but he likes Bo Volkov who’s invited Dale to the Prom as friends. So much drama!
Edward: No drama here. A lovely romantic date.
Dixie: And not too many strangers. Perfect!
Edward: How’s the new baby?
Dixie: Dai is soooo cute. Noisy and smelly, but really cute.

4.7.22.jpg

Deco: Hey, sweet pea! It’s my turn for cuddles.
Dai: Coo

4.7.26.jpg

Dawn: I’d have come in for my cuddle. You didn’t have to bring him outside.
Dorothy: I couldn’t wait to show him off to you.
Dawn: Hello, little man! You’re soooo snuggly!
Dai: Coo
Dorothy: He’s Sunny – such a happy Infant. Mind you, with all the other kids queuing up to look after him, he’s never lonely.
Dawn: Just as well that he likes being held.

4.7.27.jpg

Dale: Prom Jester for the second week. And no hysteria this time.
Bo: And I’m Prom Queen. Your brothers both keep trying to dance and flirt with me. I do get them muddled up…

4.7.28.jpg

Josiah: Thanks for inviting me to the Prom.
Deco: I was so disappointed when we got here and you hadn’t.
Josiah: You’d have danced with someone else.
Deco: But you and I? We’ve got Amazing Compatibility. Why deny destiny?

Congrats to Dorothy on completing all her heir requirements!
Does that mean she completed Mansion Baron this week?
Seven lovely children!  Looks like Dorothy and Umber will achieve a Big Happy Family before the next heir takes over!

Yes, the family have all been painting which quickly upped the house value. Dorothy and Umber will keep making but it's no longer a priority.

Lorelei had her baby and Dearg adopted a child (?) so they've given Dorothy 2 grandchildren. There's no more room in their house now so 2 more grandkids will need to come from elsewhere. Lorelei's family has got elders in it though...

Makey MishMash Legacy 4.8: White Wedding

Previously: Dearg proposed to Evil Lorelei Spencer-Kim and they had a full wedding in Tartosa; he moved in with her family; Umber and Dorothy lost no time and soon little Dai was on the way to fill the household gap on Friday; in the meantime, Dixie continued to build her relationship with Edward, aging into this week’s Valedictorian; Dale was again crowned Prom Jester and Deco met Josiah

L-to-R: Disco, Deco, Dixie, Umber holding Dai, Dorothy, Dale, Denim

Residence: StrangerVille Overlook, Shady Acres, StrangerVille

Cassia: Well, he is adorable. Have you got the drones recording him yet? I’ve got spares.
Dorothy: Dai is not  going to have his every movement filmed. We’ll give him an ordinary life.
Cassia: Such a waste, darling.

4.8.1.jpg

Deco: I love a party and so I threw one for my family to meet Josiah – my Prom sweetheart. No, my age bar wasn’t bubbling, but I aged up with Josiah anyway.

4.8.9.jpg

Michael: It’s so good to get my cuddle with Dai. Your great great Granny Dawn told me how adorable he is.
Dorothy: He’s getting so many cuddles. The other kids are good about helping with him and it’s better they do his care. The Teens sometimes still mind me paying him attention.

4.8.4.jpg4.8.5.jpg4.8.7.jpg

Dixie: Edward, while we’re on our own, do you think, maybe, you might just want to, sort of, marry me?
Edward: I thought you’d never ask!
Dixie: Phew. This Unflirtyness is a serious handicap.

4.8.6.jpg

Umber: What’s happening?
Dorothy: Dixie and Edward decided not to wait for a big wedding so Watcher put a wedding arch in for us. Ah – my second child happily married.
Umber: Is Dixie moving to Glimmerbrook with him?
Dorothy: Yes – Granny Jade’s place. I hope there’s room for more grandkids.
Dixie: Mum!

4.8.8.jpg

Dai: Coo
Umber: Ah – you’re not sure about mango puree but you love sweet potato puree. I’ll remember that.
Dai: Goo
Umber: It certainly is. Now, I’ll just clean you up and then get that Josiah back here. I need a word with him.

4.8.10.jpg

Deco: Will you marry me?
Josiah: Oh Wow!
Umber: The answer is yes, boy! She’s eating for two!
Deco: Dad!
Josiah: That’s alright, Sir. I really want to marry Deco, even without a baby on the way.
Umber: Good.

4.8.11.jpg

Dorothy: So they decided not to wait either?
Umber: No time like the present.
Dorothy: This isn’t a shot-gun wedding is it?
Josiah: No Ma’am.
Umber: The boy wants to marry Deco. Let him get on with it.
Josiah: Yes Sir.
Dale: Oh! My twin is moving out?
Dorothy: To Tomorang.

4.8.12.jpg

Dorothy: Happy Birthday, Dai!
Dai: Babble

4.8.13.jpg

Dorothy: Cousin Peyton! You came.
Peyton: I’m sorry I’ve not made the other family celebrations. Mind you, it’s weird seeing Auntie Cassia here. You know she never interacted with me, while she was living with Uncle Hayes and us? Mind you, I was only a Toddler.
Dorothy: I can believe it. And now you’re a Good, Perfectionist Maker. You really ought to come over more often.
Dale: Hello. Are you Mum’s cousin?
Peyton: Yes, on her father’s side. There’s just me and our other Teen cousin, Michael Moon. I think your older siblings met her at Prom last week. She’s a bit Hot-headed but she loves dogs so we’re thinking about getting one. With just the 3 of us, we rattle around that place.
Dale: Wow. It sounds great!
Peyton: Well, you’re a Moon by ancestry too – Hayes granddaughter. Would you like to come and live with your Moon cousins? If that’s OK with your Mum?
Dale: Can I, Mum? Can I?
Dorothy: I don’t know. We’d really miss you. And I thought you wanted to age up and be a Valedictorian too?
Dale: We can’t all be Valedictorians, Mum. The boys age up too soon. I’ll come back for celebrations. I promise.
Dorothy: If you’re sure, sweetheart…

4.8.13a.jpg

Disco: Up and down. Up and down.
Dai: Whee!

4.8.14.jpg

Disco: Have you seen this video of Dale running round her new house. She’s going wild!
Denim: She’s such a goof. Hey let’s both vote her for Prom Jester again!
Disco: You’re on!

4.8.15.jpg

Dale: Yay! Prom Jester again. Thanks for voting for me, guys.
Denim: I forgot to vote. I was too busy dancing with Bo. Did you vote?
Disco: No. I forgot too! She got to be Prom Jester all on her own! Again!

4.8.16.jpg

Denim: This is why I forgot to vote! I met Ella Tracey, who flew in to Prom on a broomstick so she’s a Spellcaster, like me. She’s also a Perfectionist Horse-Lover. I wonder if she’s got a horse…

4.8.17.jpg

Denim: Anyway, we skipped out of the end of Prom because we both wanted to watch the New Years Eve countdown on TV. She came back to my place and I got a Happy New Year kiss! What a great way to start the new year.

Notes
Teens also get cross about their younger siblings getting attention. Dawn and Umber frequently have to apologize, encourage good behaviour and have “satisfying chats” with all the older children to ameliorate their feelings.

With the household now down to 5, it’s becoming clear that none of the older Gen 5 are focused on becoming the heir. It is time to reveal that one of the Gen 5 requirements is to be the youngest of their siblings and so we crown Toddler Dai as our Gen 5 heir.
Dai Toddler.jpg

Both Dixie and Deco have given Dorothy and Umber a grandchild each so, even without one of Evil Lorelei's household dying to make way for their 3rd child, Dorothy has completed her Big Happy Family aspiration. I wondered if I could get all Teens to be Valedictorians by gradually aging up each week but, as Dale worked out, there's only 2 more slots left before Denim and Disco age up.

There clearly wasn't the White Wedding of the title but Billy Idol's song of that title has the undertones of Deco's wedding to Josiah.

Haha, Dorothy's offspring are taking over the world! Except for Denim and Disco, they've all moved to different towns, right?
I couldn't noticing that odd blue confetti cake when Dai aged up to a toddler. It's sunk into the table?!

Congrats to Dorothy and Umber on their Big Happy Family! It must have been a lot of work, even with the teens helping with childcare.

About the teens envious of their younger siblings getting attention, what moodlets do they show?
I haven't seen that in my game. I'm pretty one of my Mistura heirs had teens and babies in the same household. Huh.

Ah, the heir reveael!

I think the cake is just sitting on the table but it's sides are brown so it merges visually.

Yes - Dearg's in Willow Creek, Dixie in Glimmerbrook,  Deco in Tomarang and Dale in Del Sol Valley. It wasn't intentional but it's fun, isn't it! Now, where does Ella Tracey live? Lol

As Teens, Deco, Denim & Disco have been angry about "where's my attention " and Deco was occasionally stressed about Dai's milestones - something like "that's nothing special - I could do that ages before, etc". The profiles show an "ignored" bubble that is fully or half red. It seems to happen more quickly when they're in a growing phase.

That's crazy that your teens still got the Ignored sentiment. My children lost theirs permanently when their parent apologized soon after they aged up from toddler to child.
Is it a but?

It could be a bug, but it would make sense that Teens would also feel ignored in RL... Maybe it's a new thing?
