Rules & Gameplay Settings
Challenge Rules
*I'll be playing according to general conventions for multi-generation legacy challenges.
That is, no money cheats and no mods that offer any unfair advantage in gameplay, and so forth.
I do use mods to prevent annoying sim behavior like the constant mess making and grabbing drinks of water.
*I reserve the right to modify any of the requirements that I draw from existing legacy challenges.
*The legacy household is free to move whenever it pleases, but especially when a requirement makes a move necessary.
Rule Tweaks
*Early age-ups: I am allowing myself early age-ups whenever I wish, except during the generation based on the Random Legacy Challenge.
In that case, if the Random Legacy gen is Gen6, for example, the no-early-age-ups rule takes effect once the Gen6 heir becomes the active heir.
Otherwise, the requirements for early age-up are:
--Newborn: Becomie Good Friends with both parents
--Infants: Earn 10 milestones total in any category.
--Toddlers: Max all 5 toddler skills.
--Children: Earn an A grade, become a Llamacorn Scout, and complete at least 3 aspirations.
--Teens: Earn an A grade in high school and one in-range character value (positive or negative) plus complete any aspiration.
--Young Adult and Adults: no early age-ups for these life stages.
Gameplay Settings
Lifespan: Normal
Seasons: 28 days 21 days
Weather: Thunderstorms/Blizzards off (except in Yukimatsu); Weather affects sims.
Lifestyles: Disabled (but may be enabled for certain generations)
Pack settings:
Enabled: Eco Footprint Gameplay (Gen1 only), Limit Werewolves to Moonwood Mills, NPC Relationship Autonomy,
Self-Discovery, Enable Gallery Sims in Cupid's Corner, Enable Only Favorited Gallery Sims in Cupid's Corner
Disabled: Sims Begin Opted Out of Fame, NPC Voting, Acne, Career Layoffs, Hide (Rental) Units by Default, Rental Unit Events
Starting age: Teen founder
Starting funds: $20,000 to purchase empty starter lot, then cheated down to $0.
Mods
*MC Command Center by Deaderpool (Auto Bill Pay, Disable Emotional Deaths, and Pause on Zone; Auto-Marriage/Auto-Pregnancy/Auto-Moving for all sims not in active household;
and a dozen or so other settings to facilitate smoother story progression, such as no more than 3 children per sim.
