Thanks, Carl. I've got a really fun tourney in mind — something revolving around Perfect items. Perfect recipes, Perfect plants, Perfect fish. I think those are the only 3 (am I right?) Anyway, it should be a fun one. But, the guide has to be up to date before I launch the tourney because players will need to reference that often. And I'm also waiting for the monster EA patch and lots of forumers to get WA for Xmas. So, I'll probably kick it off with the new year.

Perfect nectar...  if you want to go for perfect everything that'd also maybe include best sellers and masterpieces (painting)... nothing else comes to mind

Ah, nectar. Yeah, but your guide lists Amazing and Great recipes at the end. I don't see Perfect ones.

The bottles have a quality value independent of how they taste.... amazing is a taste factor, it's easy to make a perfect bottle but was more challenging to make a perfect quality bottle that tastes good at the same time. It's more a bottle value thing than how Sims actually judge what they're drinking. So, the recipes are actually good taste combos...

Oh, okay. The "Amazing" was a taste thing. The only thing with nectar is you basically have unlimited variety with all of the different fruit combinations. So, I don't know how the heck I would score all of the different possible combinations. So much paperwork for players vs. asking them to catch a perfect fish of each variety, grow a perfect plant of each variety etc. See the problem? Maybe there could just be some kind of ingredient requirement for nectar, or a "limitation."

Yeah it sounds like that could get complicated fast. Anyway, it's just too simple to make those perfect anyway, everyone would just run and make the pomegranate/life fruit drink anyway.

The cooking guide has been updated with the new recipes: revised recipe list
