Apartments unplayable

Basically what the title says.  Sim buys an apartment rental and nothing shows up in the purchased items. Cannot get back into the apartments because it continues to try to load. There are a few topics similar to this in help section, but not quite my issue.  The rest of my saves are fine, just apartment are borked.
