Music, drinks, and a good time! You can make a living throwing parties, and you've set out to do just that with the most important person in your life. So get your calendar ready, restock your bar, and tune your instruments; it's time to party!



Challenge Rules

• Remember, the General Rules apply to all Tournament challenges. Exceptions may be noted below.
• In CAS (no Story Mode), create 2 Young Adult Human Sims, any lifestates, any relationship. No additions to household for this challenge.
• Move your Sims into Sandtrap Flat in Oasis Springs, with the lot furnished. Moving is banned.
• For this challenge, all money must be made through selling party rewards, tips on musical instruments, singing, comedy, and mixology skill. If your Sims receive gifts('party favors'), you may also sell those.
  
• Duplicating items through any means, such as copy pasto or cloning, is forbidden.
• Each medal you earn through a party (or other social events that you schedule on your phone, excluding dates) adds to your multiplier (see Scoring below).
• You may not throw successive events back to back; variety is the spice of life! If you throw a Dinner Party, you must do four other different events before you may repeat it.
• During this challenge, you may not end a party early unless it is already in the gold medal range, unless your game is not ending the party when the timer runs out. If the timer displays 0 minutes remaining, you may 'end the party early.'
• This challenge concludes at the end of 2 Sim weeks (Week 3, Day 1, 8:00 a.m.).
  
  Scoring
  
  Household Funds - At Week 3, Day 1, 8:00 a.m., pause your game and note your household funds.
  
  Medal Multiplier - Everyone starts with a multiplier of 1.0...
  -Gold medals add +.03 to your multiplier
  -Silver medals add +.02 to your multiplier
  -Bronze medals add +.01 to your multiplier
  
  Total - Your total score is your household funds multiplied by your Medal Multiplier.
  
  Example: You have household funds of §15,500 and threw eight gold medal parties, six silver medal parties, and nine bronze medal parties for a total multiplier of 1.46, giving you a final score of 22,475.
  
  
  A Few Additional Specifics:
  The team does not want to edit and change the ruleset once this event goes live, but we may have to. If an exploit is brought to our attention or we discover something else, we may ask affected players to redo their effort.

I thought about this because it might change the final household funds, adding money that don't come from parties.

Moving is allowed if you desire.
 Moving is banned after something was brought to my attention. Apologies, ruleset is being updated.

Due to rule 'all money must be made through selling party rewards, tips on musical instruments, singing, comedy, and mixology skill. If your Sims receive gifts('party favors'), you may also sell those.', selling your furnishings would be a violation of the rule. If you'd like to replace things, household inventory is an option, as is moving it out of the way.

Just a reminder that this event ends Sunday night. And it's also one of those events that does not require you to play the maximum time allowed -- the full two Sim weeks. So, if you can only play for a few days, great. Post your score and get on the leaderboard. Good luck finishing up.

Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar had $68575 in household funds with 1 gold medal party and 3 silver medal parties.

Multiplier = .03 + (3 X .02) = .09 + 1.00 = 1.09 X 68575 = 74746

 Just finished 1 sim day earlier,   had 55.257 in household funds, threw 21 gold and 2 silver on parties, 1.67 multiplier, makes 92.279 as final score.

had to stop playing Tuesday evening of week one. One of my hosts has died and although the rules don't say it's game over I'm giving up. Total funds 19,555 One bronze, two silver, and eight gold parties for a multiplier of 1.29 makes final score of 25,225.

Phew, that was a real challenge...

Total funds 337206, 78 gold and 5 silver parties, so the multiplier is 3,44 and final score 1159988,64.

This one took me a lot of time but I finally managed to arrive at the end of the 2 sims weeks on time!

My sims had 894 554 $ at the end.
They threw 239 gold parties and 2 silver ones so the multiplier is 7.21.

Final score: 6 449 734,34

82 gold parties en 4 silver ones, so the multiplier is 3.54.

Score: 265089 * 3.54 = 938415.

That's in about half the time.
