There's a lot of towns that go for the Hollywood Western look for their downtown area on purpose, so that part isn't unrealistic. The streets really ought to be paved though. And you won't see chaps very often. Those are a practical, not very comfortable accessory worn when a rider expects to pass through a lot of brush, and I didn't see any bushwhacking opportunities in the riding. But for the most part, yes, people in the equestrian community really dress like that.
I don't like that the horses will be household members. Two horses, a Border Collie or Aussie to keep those sheep and goats in line, what farm is complete without cats... um, there's no room for having kids now! Those cheats/mods for overstuffed households cause a lot of problems if you try to go to CAS.
I get the impression the general store is just a kiosk? And I wish they had gotten into town early enough to show the equestrian center properly.
Maybe the stuff that was closed when they got into town, will flesh out the pack better. It does seem kind of light on gameplay. But I do like the horses, the Western theme, and the look of the new world. I feel like it's going to be a bit weak as an overall pack, but my new favorite place to live.
