I hope Isaque gets over his desire to be heir and embraces his own destiny.
That resentment about Prom is very irritating - wouldn't be so bad if it showed up only with Sims who are actually part of a couple (boyfriend/girlfriend) WITH both still in high school. Outside of that, it shouldn't be a thing.
Also, not having a principal until you play a Sim actively at high school shouldn't be a thing.

I haven't had any trouble with Amber or Ayaan not going to class when I've been with Oliver at the competition/training arena. I just have to pay attention to the time and click on their images so I can see their queue when it's getting to time for class so I can cancel the current activity if it's one they won't stop themselves or that won't end in time. As long as I make sure nothing is in the queue in the way, they go, and I can switch them to "Take Notes" and as long as I do that, they keep their high grade, even if they aren't actually in class for very long (due to how long it takes them to walk from inside the house to off the lot).

WOW! Eight Sims sitting at the table eating together! Color me impressed!

Nice that both of the girls have found attractive love interests with good traits. And Isaque aged up well, although I do think Xavier is the better looking of the two.

Regarding invitees suddenly leaving, remember when Oliver and Amber went to the Romance Festival with Nylah and Ayaan? The four of them were in a group together, and I queued up Nylah and Ayaan to have a friendly conversation (full queue of friendly interactions) when I took Oliver and Amber over to talk to Rose. They only exchanged a few socials with Rose, and then I was going to take the group to Rose's, but found that Nylah and Ayaan had both left (without saying good-bye to their significant others).

Haha, Isaque just needed to ask to get it out of his system.  If I were born into a legacy household, I'd probably want to know, too.
Yeah, Lia feeling bitter about no Prom invite when it's impossible for Xavier to invite her makes ME feel bitter. If she wants to go so bad, she could invite him?
Having to check for the Principal is also an annoying game mechanic. I guess, I'm glad to know why some of my teens can't attend prom. *sighs

It's a rare shot when eight sims all grab servings and sit down together. Usualy one sim will finish early and leave, another will decide they'd rather sit at the counter, and so forth. Haha

So, Nylah and Ayaan autonomously went to class even while Oliver was engaged in a competition? I read on EA Answers that uni students wouldn't leave for class unless they were on the active lot, so I was afraid to try it.  Maybe I'll play-test it first in a copy file.  Thank yu for sharing that!

I also find Xavier more attractive, but I also love Isaque because of his close resemblance to Chai.
Oh, I'm so glad that invitees leaving without saying a word is kind of glitch. Lia has done it to Xavier on every outing so far and he was wondering if he should look for someone else.
I guess it's a new thing introduced with the Crystal Creatons patch?

My Sims also attended uni classes when not onthe active lot. In some ways, they are more prompt to class. You just need to remember to do that "take notes" thing

That's weird that I've never noticed invitees running off right away.
And thank you for sharing your experience with the active lot and unit students. It wouldn't even be an issue if it weren't for that No-Principal-No-Prom glitch. Ugh!

As for the good-looking teens, I'll pass on your congratulations to Chai and Denzel.  They're responsible for those genes!

11.78: That Troublesome Guy


Sunday, Week 78 (late summer)
Xavier: Last week, I aced my first term at university in Foxbury's Distinguished Degree program in Physics.
Ixaque aged up to a child Monday, Lola and Nina became teens Tuesday, and Isaque aged up again Saturday.
Our parents became Soulmates last week, but it feels like they've been Soulmates from a past lifetime.

Xavier: It's a good thing all my schoolwork is done, because the natives are getting restless.
Isaque: I'll say! Why am I fishing when I need to be looking for love! You move out in 9 more days, right?
Lola: Ditto! Kai is no longer my Prom Date, for some reason, so I need to show that boy who's his momma!
Xavier: Yeah, yeah. Let's go to the park. I have a few things to sell, too.


Lola: Whatever's going on between me and Kai? I check his profile and we're "Just Good Friends" now?
I don't think so! I rizz him up until he's feeling flirty, steak a First Kiss, and ask him to be my boyfriend.
Sadly, I can't ask him to Prom today but hopefully on Tuesday. Maybe a Promposal sign,  if I remember.


Isaque: When I first spotted Alexandra Munch at the park, she looked like she was in her third trimester.
But Watcher checked (she wasn't pregnant) then gave her a makeover with a cuter hairstyle.
I'm Neat and Outgoing, while Alexandra (yes, those Munches) is Neat and Active.
What I like most about her, though, is that she has a crush on me! Yeah, love at first sight!



Monday
Xavier: Don't go, Lia! I've been jogging to clear my mind. My parents' advice lowered my Emotional Control.
Lia: Sorry to drop by without contacting you first.
Xavier: Believe me, I'm glad you did. I wanted to ask you if you see a future for us together? I do!
Lia: You mean, like you and me having a family together? It's kind of my dream. *blushes

Xavier: I'm moving away next week. Will you come with me, Lia? I've been saving up for a place.
Lia: Won't I embarrass you? You have an A+ GPA at uni, while I'm a C student in high school.
Xavier: You could move into our household to get your grades up, maybe earn some scout badges, too.
Lia: Yes! I'd love that! *dashes home, quickly packs, then moves into the Mistura household



Tuesday
Xavier: I'm out for a stroll when I spot an unexpected visitor at our front door. It's my crush, Kellan!
Why is he looking Very Uncomfortable? When he politely asks for a drink, I refuse.
Should I offer him a Potion of Plentiful Needs to quench his thirst? What is this? Non-consensual sipping?!
This puts a whole new spin on the term "Thirst Pals"!


I discover the hard way that Robotics is not a lucrative money-making scheme.
The base price of Chatter Bots (§150), RC Quadcopters (§250) are low.
Utili-Bots can be sold for §3,500 but require a lot of precrafts.
And none of these three can be sold via Plopsy or a Vendor Table. Maybe a Retail Store?


I'm so puzzled by Kellan's visit last night. How had I missed that he's a vampire?!
He came because he was thirsty not because he particularly wanted to see me.
But how did he know where to find me?  And why don't I feel angry with him?


My siblings and I are so blessed! Our parents shower us with love and affection.
Look at Papa Chai! Every morning, he prays for our family's health and happiness.
Papa Denzel works hard four days a week and researches stocks every evening.
He tells me Papa Chai gave up his landlord business to stay home and raise us.
I can only hope that someday I'll grow up to be a caring, attentive parent like them.


Lola: You demoted me to "Just Good Friends" and deleted me as "Prom Date" on your profile.
But I really like you, Kai.  I'm not giving up! Wil you be my Prom Date again, please?
Kai: Prom? With you? I'd love that!
Isaque: I know we just met, Lexie, but I'm absolutely crazy about you.
Alexandra: I feel exactly the same. Of course, I'll be your Prom Date!



Wednesday
Nina: Today, Watcher joins Isaque and me at Copperdale High School.
Lo and behold, our new Principal!
During the lunch break, I invite Xavier here, so he can meet the Principal, too.
Xavier: I'm still at Copperdale High, when Kellan phones to invite me to Rattlesnake Juice Bar.
Is this…a date!?


Xavier: Did you invite me here to apologize for that non-consenual sipping, Kellan?
Kellan: I'm so sorry, but you refused when I asked nicely, and I was so parched! You were my only hope!
Xavier: Well, maybe I don't mind if you take a small drink. Or I could give you a Potion of Plentiful Potions…
(to himself: I'm just helping out my good friend, Kellan. But maybe not in the middle of the bar?)
Kellan: *smacks lips
Xavier: Oh, it's nearly 6 o'clock! I have to go, Kellan! See you around!


Xavier: The Town Potluck at the Ohan'ali Town Plaze has to be my favorite Sulani gathering!
There's free food as well as Kava Juice that's §2 a cup.
Since Lia's a Vegetarian, we check the two food offerings for a vegetarian-safe option.
She's talking to the whole family tonight, trying to earn her Sociability badge.
Lia (to herself): Uh oh.


Xavier: Suddenly, Papa Chai walks over to the bonfire and begins a fire dance.
His graceful, passionate movements leave us all speechless.
Where did he learn to dance like that?


Lia: Thank you for inviting me to live with your family, Xavier.
Now that I'm a Watched Sim, I can craft a Promposal Sign and ask you to Prom.
Xavier: Sure. I guess I'll go to Prom with you.
Lia (to herself): What's with his lukewarm response!? I got over my crush on Lola already!



Thursday
Surya: Thank you for inviting us over for lunch, Xavier. I didn't even know you cooked.
Xavier: Well, I'm moving out next Tuesday so cooking's an essential skill, right?
Decha: And when can we expect to hold our grandchildren, hmmm?
Xavier: Um, Jaehyun has children already . Jing and Kamala are also married and expecting.
Surya: Oh please. We don't care about their children, though I love Jaehyun dearly.
Decha: That's right, Xavier. We want to hold your children!
Xavier (awkwardly): But Grandpas, I haven't even had the Woohoo Talk!

Surya: Oh that! Well, when two sims love each other very much…
Decha: And sometimes even when they don't (*glances tactlessly at Chai)


Nina: My brother Xavier becomes the active Gen11 heir and moves out next Tuesday.
We are already Soulmates and BFFs, Ronnie. I want us to be together always. Will you marry me?
Ronnie: You know I will! Let's age up together and get married this weekend.
I live alone in a big house in Copperdale, so be ready to move in with me after we marry, girl!


Xavier: I'd planned to make my contribution to society in the Green Technican career.
But Watcher informed last night that she's had to reroll my career for reasons she can't reveal yet.
My new career doesn't require a Physics degree but it might benefit from culinary expertise.
That's why I've been learning to mix prepped ingredients in the stand mixer.



Friday
Chai: With the house to myself, I start going through all our boxes, throwing out what we no longer need.
Lola and Nina want to age up, marry, and move out before Xavier's YA birthday next Tuesday.
I can't believe all my babies are growing up. 
Jing and Kamala got married soon after they became YAs (thank you, MCCC!)


Lia's brother Kai drops by after school to propose to Lola.
She says yes, naturally.  I'm glad she finally got Kai to see the light.
At 6 pm, I get my grades and have an overall GPA of A+, but I don't enroll for another term.
If I'm not going to become a Green Technician, I don't need a degree in Physics. 



Saturday
My career roll is Retail Owner which includes a retail shop, street gallery, and vendor table.
And, by extension, a food stand.  I don't really know what I'm doing my first day.
My four attempts earn me §0 (!), §153, §952, and §248 (I stopped halfway the four time).
I'm just selling off stuff I prepared for aspirations, but I need to research the most profitable items.
I don't need to make a killing, but I do want to amply provide for my future family, like my parents do.


Isaque proposes to Alexandra before they enter the Prom venue.

Among all four of us siblings, Isaque is the only one whose partner crushed on them first.
And now they're the only couple who share mutual crushes. They're so lucky!


As for me, it's starting to feel like whatever cursed Papa Chai has now cursed me!
This afternoon, Kellan shows up at Desert Bloom Park and proposes to me in front of the whole household.
Obviously, I say no since I'm planning to marry Lia.  How did this happen? Does he like my blood that much?
I've been very careful not to ask him to be my boyfriend, though we've kissed autonomously a time or two.
Look at our relationship! We're soulmates without even being boyfriends or best friends!

Lia (to herself): Xavier and Kellan only superficially connected, but Xavier and I are mutually smitten.
I'd been waiting for Xavier to propose to me. But, with Kellan waiting in the wings, I can't take any chances.
And….we're engaged!


With everything going on, no one in our household deliberately votes for Prom Royalty or Prom Jester.
What a nice surprise to see Lia chosen as Prom Royalty and Nina as Prom Jester.
Lia's very proud of it and spends the next couple of hours showing off her crown to everybody.


Back home, Lola and Nine age up their fiances then blow out their own birthday candles.
Both Lola and Nina graduate from high school with honors.
Thanks to Nina's three character traits, our fathers complete their Super Parent aspiration.
Lola's a Creative Music Lover and a Foodie, while Kai is a Creative Overachiever and Loyal.
Nina's Outgoing, Generous, and Ambitious, while Ronnie's an Outdoor Lover, Generous, and Vegetarian.



Week 78, Sunday
It takes until around 5 am for both couples to get married, successfully try for baby, and move out.
My young adult birthday is next Tuesday, so I'll be moving out in two more days!
I know I'll miss my parents a lot, but I'm looking forward to starting a new life with Lia.
Also, should it matter that Kellan's a vampire? I can't see myself married to a vampire, but I don't want to lose his friendship.

In early generations, I would ignore my heirs' crushes and steamrolled ahead with the "master plan."
Recent heirs seem to have more complicated love lives because, I guess, I'm letting them "run with" their crushes when not totally unreasonable.
Granted, Chai crush on his future brother-in-law needed to be immediately nipped in the bud, whereas Minsung--in hindsight--was a bad idea. LOL!

I hope Xavier and Lia's first child inherits her red hair! Lia's very pretty and I bet their daughter would be, too. Fingers crossed!

After some failed sales with the vendor table in my Henford-on-Bagley story, my sims never try selling during a San Myshuno festival, including the Flea Market.
There's too much competition at the Flea Market and too many other activities at the other festivals.
We've had good luck in Finchwick on Fair days since townies don't seem to frequent the grocery/garden stalls that much.
In Xav's case, his food stand was too close to the back wall, which prevented him from tending it until I moved it forward a little.
My favorite shtick, though, is to find a sales venue that allows the rest of the household make progress with whatever they're currently doing.

In my game, Xavier moves out in two days and his generation will be the last.
I feel like I've been preparing for his generation for months. Um, because I have?

10.79a:  Cats Be Ruinin' the Vibe


Sunday, Week 79 (early autumn)
Xavier: Last week, soon after I kissed Lia for the first time and she moved in, I had an unexpected visitor.
It was that bartender Kellan (first crush) and I learn the hard way that he's a…(gasp!)…vampire!
Much of last week was spent getting ready for Saturday's prom. We even spawned a new Principal.
Wednesday, Kellan invited me to Rattlesnake Juice Bar and when he asked nicely for a sip, I agreed.
Lola told me privately that Lia had a crush on her. I'm in no position to throw stones.

Saturday, before Prom, Kellan proposed to me in front of my whole family. What was he thinking?!
After Prom, Lola, Nina, and their beaux aged up, got married, and moved out! And now, we are five!

Lia is out fishing at the spot near our home with my younger brother Isaque.
She texts me to say she's fished up some Crystal Seeds and asks me what to do with them.
I suggest she fish instead over by Isda Riverfront to see if she can catch different Crystal Seeds.
Lia's Vegetarian, by the way, but she wants to earn more satisfaction points. I'll cook what she catches sell later.


I'm trying to build my upper body strength this morning, when I check my saving accounts.
Only §26,000? And Lia's been helping with the garden, but she can only earn income from her own garden.
Time for some hustlin'!


I run three yard sales at the park and earn nearly §4,000.
Yesterday's problem was definitely my placement of the food stand.
For Appliance Wiz, I cooked fast-to-prepare meals that aren't worth much.
Once I've sold those foods off, I'll research "the good stuff."
Um, Papa, I love you to pieces, but I really can't chat with you now!



Monday
Chai: What a great idea to travel to Mua Pel'am to watch the sea turtles hatch, Xavier!
Xavier: Was it okay to use Admiral's Wreckage as a travel point? We didn't even say hello.
Blond: It's not too late to say hello to me, Xavier!
Xavier: You! Did you come to watch the baby sea turtles, too? You're Finnegan, right? Finnegan Mana.
Finnegan: Thank goodness! I'd thought you'd forgotten me! And, just so you know, I live at Admiral's Wreckage.

At the time, I hadn't realized then that Finnegan was Xavier's second crush.


Chai: What's your father's name, Finnegan?  It wouldn't be Craig Mana, would it?
Finnegan: Yes, it is. Do you remember him?
Chai: Craig was my first friend at grade school. Xavier, do you remember that photo of Craig and me playing marbles?
Xavier: Oh, I never knew what your friend's name was. What a small world.
Chai: You should come visit us in Tomarang tomorrow morning before Xavier moves out. 
Don't you want to hear embarrassing stories about your father when he was a kid? Haha!
Xavier: C'mon, Finnegan. Let's go see if your father wants to join the three of us for lunch today. You have time, don't you?


Craig: Thanks for inviting my son and I out to lunch. But I must ask, Chai.
What's the secret to your youthful appearance? I'll be aging up to an elder in a day or so.
Finnegan: It's a perk from being a legacy heir, isn't it? I'm can't help but envy you, Xavier!

Xavier: Around 7 am, Alexandra moves in and we start aging up, starting with her and Isaque.
Isaque graduates as Valedictorian and Alexandra graduates normally.

Next up are me and Lia who graduates with Honors. We're all so proud of her!

Lia: Vegetarian, Loyal, Loves the Outdoors (Responsible)


Xavier: I'd only saved up §30,502 but my parents gave me §30,000 extra for moving expenses.
(My sister Nina received §100,000 when she moved, but who's counting?)
I take §10,000 out of my savings to give us §40,000 total to get started.
I buy the Slipshod Mesquite lot in Bedrock Strait, Oasis Springs. Watcher loves this lot!
Lia: Maybe Watcher does, but I don't. Please tell me we're not living in that ugly trailer!


Xavier: We're not. Ta da! Watcher insta-buuilds us a micro home for §22,822.
W: Not insta-build! I built it in a separate save then uploaded it to MyLibrary so Xav could download it.

Lia: And there's already a garden area in the back!
I've joined the Gardener career but I can't do my daily task.I need a computer to Research Gardening.
Xavier: No worries! *buys 2 laptops and learns that those discount coupons don't work


Xavier: After we plant the garden, I add wall and floor coverings, more furnishings, and an outhouse.
My Generational Goal is to own a Home Library that houses all books across 9 genres.
So I buy a bookcase and 84 books of the total 102 books I require. (Later, the Home Library will have its own room, maybe.)
I also buy a woodworking table and Fabricator so I can craft more furnishings.
By the time I'm done, we only have §2,000 left! Time for some yard sales!


I'm surprised to see so many of my customers from Tomarang.
Meanwhile, Lia is indoors reading skill books to boost her Charisma and Parenting.


After my yard sales ends, my new neighbor Hikaru sticks around to chat a bit.
Hikaru moved here last week from Mt. Komorebi. He's a high school student.
He lives across the street on the far side of the Pebble Burrow Park.



Wednesday
Lia: I harvest and tend the garden, then give Xavier the most profitable harvestables to sell.
I'm ready for my first day of work!
Despite my unappealing career outfit, I'm really excited!


Bedrock Strait consists of four residences and a park.
Our lot (lower left)  is currently the neighborhood eyesore, but not for long!
As soon as all our trees and spliced plants mature, we're doubling the size of our house!
Pebble Burrow Park is the center lot across the street from ours.
My new friend Hikaru lives next to the park (upper right).


Xavier: Since Lia's in the Gardener/Botanist track, she can sell her harvested produce.
Since my career is Retail Owner, I can sell her produce in a retail shop or on a vendor table.
The first hour, I get no customers at all. Oh, right! I forgot to click "Start Yard Sale"!
During my 2nd consecutive yard sale, Lia comes home with a promotion.
There are only about 10 items left, but I turn the vendor table over to Lia so she can build Charisma.


Selling those last 10 items took way longer than I expected, but I gain two Charisma levels!
And check out my new career outfit!
Today I earned my L5 promotion and joined the Botanist branch!
I've come so far! From a C student to a high school graduate with honors and now a botanic scientist!


Lia: What are you crafting, Xavier? And why are there so many cats here?
Xavier: I'm crafting a crib, a toddler bed, and new kitchen counters.
I have no idea why we have three cats on our lot, but they sure make lots of noise!
Lia: A crib and a toddler bed? Does that mean….?


First, we stop in StrangerVille where I visit the Curio Shop run by a conspiracy theorist.
I've added the five books in the Conspiracy genre to my Home Library.
This Curio Shop's the only place to buy them.  And next…

*MCCC and Residential Rentals: I keep forgetting to mention this.
  MCCC's auto-pregnancy and auto-marriage features always bypass tenants in residential rentals.
  I hadn't expected this, since the features work fine for apartment tenants.
  If the tenant is an unrelated townie, I either move in another townie or move the tenant out temporarily.
  Once MCCC arranges a marriage for that ex-tenant, I move the couple back into the rental unit.

A lot of stray cats suddenly showed up for some reason I can't identify, possibly related to a mod.

Haha, I'm not teasing you. I'm mostly sharing how the game is teasing.
Xavier crushed on both Kellan and Finnegan within minutes of meeting them, but he never crushed on Lia who, instead, crushed on Savier's siter.
Xavier is trying to pull his life together.  Kellan was never supposed to be a romantic interest, just a random vampire I added (among 9 others) to repopulate Forgotten Hollow.

Yes to nooboos! LIa gives birth on Sunday of the following week. I'm crossing my fingers for a redhaired mini-Lia!

10.79b: Farewell, My Former Fascination



Thursday, Week 79 (early autumn)
Lia: It's been two days since we moved here to Bedrock Strait, Oasis Springs. I love how warm the weather is in autumn!
I also started my first job ever yesterday and got a promotion the very first day.
I don't know I gain less skill per skill book than the Xavier! He learns skill so quickly!
I've read three Cooking skill books so far and I'm still not Level 4!


Xavier: After Lia leaves for work, I start a yard sale with my new selection of offerings!
My menu is so high-end that I earn over §23k, even though I lowered my markup to 200%.
At this rate, I'll only need to do one yard sale a day!


Sigh, I dont want to be the "Get off my lawn" guy, but I don't appreciate my customers treating my lot like a public park.
So I've fenced in our entire lot and locked it to everyone except our household and close family.


Oh, and I also make an except for my neighbor Hikaru. I bet it must be lonely moving out on his own at first.
He drops by in the afternoon to do his homework. Does he ever attend high school?
As for my Home Library requirement, I know I've already read 10 or more magical tomes but let's say I've read 7 books.
Today, I start learning about Vampire Lore, uh, just in case.


Lia: Today's yard sale takes me to Level 9 Charisma.
I'm eager to maximize my Charisma so I can Negotiate Bonuses with my boss over the phone.
During the yard sale, I also discover that I'm Proper. Yes, that's me!
Not so much to sell today since our garden didn't produce any harvestables this morning. No idea why not.
Then, I end my yard sales early because…


I find out that I'm expecting and want to share the Big News with Xavier.
But I couldn't find the Share the Big News social for the life of me, so I talked with him about grilled cheese instead.
Watcher: We finally find it Friday evening among the Main Interactions.



Friday
Xavier: I've started the Market Magnate aspiration and need to hold a yard sale at two different lots.
Hikaru says I can do one of them at his place, so here I am.
His house looks so cool, though he complains about the low-quality furnishings. Still, it's a nice crib for a single teen!
After the yard sale, I apologize to Hikaru about the customers who walked in and out of his home.


Denzel (on the phone): Hey, do you and Lia want to join Chai and me at the Spice Festival tonight?
Xavier: I do, but I need to go the Beach Bonfire at Ohan'ali Town first. I'm inviting our neighbor. Want to meet us there?
Chai: Definitely not a very interesting gathering, is it? Next time, Xavier, you should bring your grill.
Xavier: I don't own a grill yet, but I'll get one before the next Sulani gathering.  Or simply bring my food stall, hehe.


Xaivier: Not many Sulani locals showed up at the Beach Bonfire so, after another house, we've come to the Spice Festival.
Now this is what I call a gathering!
I attempted the Spice Contest twice, had some Bhel Puri from the food stall, then tried the Spice Contest again.
Not only did I fail the Spice Contest each time but, to my horror, I self-discovered that I'm a Glutton!?
I reject that self-discovery! I only want to become a Spice Hound and win that awesome chili pepper t-shirt!


Xavier: Good evening, sir. I've been wanting to meet you. You see, I'm Xavier, the last Mistura heir.
Prince:  Please call me Prince. I'd been wondering when you'd get around to finding me!
Xavier: You must be Incredibly Friendly like me. After just a friendly intro, I can already ask you to be BFFs!
Prince: Who knows? Listen, I've got a late-night gig tonight, but you should come visit with your family sometime soon! I'll be waiting!


Xavier: Thanks for agreeing to come with me, Hikaru.
Hikaru: Yeah, of course, that's what best friends do, right? But why are we here?
Xavier: Uh, I need to extricate myself from a complicated relationship with someone who lives in this house.
And it's my first visit to Forgotten Hollow, too.


Hikaru: But why am I here specifically? You're not going to fight that vampire, are you? I'm  a lover, not a fighter!
Xavier: I just need to get him to see reason. He was my first crush so I couldn't ask Lia to come with me.
I really need you here for moral support. You don't have to lift a finger, friend.
Hikaru: Moral support? I can do that!


Kellan: WHAT!? You want us to be just friends?!
But I've tasted your blood! That makes you mine, Xavier. You can't just walk away from me.
Xavier: It's how it has to be, Kellan. I'm married now and I'm going to be a father soon.
I can't be sneaking around being your Thirst Pal.  You're a handsome man. You'll easily find a new human to feed from.
Kellan: Oh? You want me to find someone new? How about that teen you dragged here with you?
You have some nerve bringing him here, flaunting the guy you've replaced me with! *gets more and more enraged


Xavier: You've got it all wrong, Kellan! Hikaru's my friend and neighbor. He's only here for moral support.
You need to calm down, Kellan. *shoots a Calm Emotions beam at Kellan
Kellan: What did you just do to me? I'm no longer infuriated with you for dumping me.
I was going to blackmail you into having my baby or I'd stalk you the rest of your life. But now…okay, I get it.
You made me absolutely obsess over you but you don't feel the same way about me. Leave, now! *sighs deeply
Watcher: Oooh, Kellan's science baby? No, no, no! That can't happen. Erm, maybe in a different save...for science?


Hikaru: Well done! He got so furious that his eyes turned red, but you calmed him right down, Xavier.
Xavier: Yeah, it was touch and go there for a second. I almost lost my nerve.
Hikaru: I think we're done here, friend. Let's go back to Bedrock.
Oh and remind me never to fall for you.  You were trying to be nice, but that vampire looked totally devastated.
Xavier (to himself): I'm glad I was finally able to resist Kellan.  @GlazeyLady will be proud of me!



Saturday
Lia: Ugh, I've read so many skill books this week! Four on Charisma, Two on Parenting, and three on Cooking.
I should read whatever I want for my tenth book, right?
My sister recommended The Wolf Next Door to me recently. I guess it's a Paranormal Romance?
I need to tend the garden but I simply can't put this book down! *badump, badkump


Xavier: I'm so glad you haven't found the reading requirement too much of a slog.
Looks like you're really enjoying your tenth book. What's it about, boo?
Lia: It's, um, about social dynamics within a wolf pack (cough). And what are you doing?
Xavier: I've crafted two cribs and toddlers beds. For our expansion, I made more kitchen counters, too.
Lia: Hey, we should go to my ob-gyn for a sonogram. I hope we don't need three cribs…
You can't fabricate because we don't any bits and pieces, right? Maybe ditch that trash bin and buy a Recycler?

 
Lia: Xavier, I ended my yard sale after 40 minutes because I maxed Charisma!
Xavier: Good for you! Shall we go visit your doctor?
About 2 hours later
Lia: I'm going to have a little girl!  I've been worried sick that I might have triplets. One baby, I can handle!
Xavier: I hope she looks just like you! Let's give her a Hawai'ian name. Why don't you chose it?


Xavier: Later, Hikaru invites Lia and me to the Festival of Snow in Yukimatsu, Mt. Kiomorebi.
When I ask Yama-chan for a selfie, Hikaru explains that "yama" is the Japanese word for mountain.
I know Watcher's mentioned this fact a gazillion times before, but Yama-chan's head resembles the "yama" ideogram (top right).

Also, "chan" is an honorific suffix but a diminuitive version of the suffix "san." Than you, Hikaru sensei!


Lia: Yama-chan really likes the photo we took together. I wish I could keep a copy of it.
Also, I was hoping to ask Yama-chan to feel my tummy for good luck.
But all I can do is ask Yama-chan for a selfie or do the Mountain Dance with him. Phooey!


Xavier: I spot Hikaru doing the Mountain Dance with Yama-chan.  So cute!


Lia: Events with food are the best!
I order Miso Ramen because I want to practice using chopsticks.
Why did the vendor give me a fork? Isn't that racial stereotyping?
Do I look like I can't use chopsticks!?


Xavier: Hey, I've decided on my collection.  I'm going to collect Simmies.
There are 12 normal Simmies plus their corresponding 12 gold versions.
But we earn the collection plaque after collecting 12 unique normal Simmies.
I bought two of them and got two unique Simmies! Wanna try, Lia?


Lia: Well, drats! I buy two capsules but they're both the same Simmie!


Xavier: When I try to get a fourth unique Simmie, the vending machine get stuck.
After kicking and shoving the darn machine, it finally give me my Simmi Capsule!
With four different Simmies, our collection is already one-third finished.
(I hope it'll be easier to complete than Papa Chai's Marble collection was.)

*Home Library: Now that Xavier has so many freaking books, I wish there was a better way to organize them!
  When they want to read a book, they have to scroll through them ALL!
  I ended up placing a Sticky Storage Box to keep the Toddler Books separate. #FirstWorldProblems

*Collections: Though not an official requirement, it feels like every generation has completed a unique collection.
  We know that marbles are a bust. Besides, they're best collected while living in Tomarang.
  Sadly, marbles are not among the collectibles that can be traded at the Flea Market.
  I've never completed the Simmies collection before, either.  Let's go!

*Xavier's Aspirations: In hindsight, I slightly regret choosing Super Parent as Xavier's third aspiration.
  Now we are definitely playing his generation until he has at least one young adult offspring. Is that a curse or a blessing?

*Xavier's crushes: Xavier used the "Try to Get Over Crush" on both Kellan and Finnegan, receiving successful notification in response.
  But when he selects the "Try to Get Over Crush" action after that, both sims still pop up. Is he over his crushes on them or what?

Collecting all the books in a home library is a requirement I've not seen before - I didn't realize how many there are and never knew there were 5 conspiracy books that can only be purchased from the Strangerville curio shop.

All those cats . . . I wonder what is causing that.
