Goodness me, what an update!

Whilst Gisela is clearly our hero, I kinda feel sorry for both Elise - destined to be the bad guy - and Jose - watching on from the side-lines.

Ha! You've not declared the source of Gisela's requirements and I can't work it out as I went hunting for spoilers. Will Rogelio be forgiven and return? Will Paranoid Gisela find true love elsewhere? Or will her Big Happy Family be achieved in a nontraditional manner?
So many questions!

Yes, this generation definitely needs a villain which has turned out to be Elise.
Don't feel bad for Jose, though. He's quite happy to be left out of the drama.  He's found someone sweet who aged up with a positive third trait.
He's just waiting for all the noise to die down so he and Genesis can start a family.
By the way, Genesis is the grand-daughter of one of my sim couples that I added to the Mishmash simverse at the start of this challenge.

I love how you're exploring all the possible narrative directions of Gisela's future!!!  Oooh, a non-traditional Big Happy Family? Gisela might be too old-fashioned for that!
The next update will answer a few, but not all, of your questions.

Fun fact: Yesterday, I finished writing my last update much sooner than I expected.  I pondered whether two updates in two days would be too much.
When I checked the forum, I saw you had posted a new update, so I happily went nad posted mine.
But when I checked your thread, you'd posted a response to a comment not a new update. LOL!

I don't think I've ever posted two updates in one day but I confess one a day is not unusual.
I occasionally wonder about doing a challenge where my simself could only do a version of my real life but no-one would bother to read a story where I just played video games in-between chores, baking and walks. Lol

I've never posted two full updates in one day, either.  My updates tend to reach the 25-image limit so my usual pace is an update every 2-4 days.
Hmmm, I think I would only read a challenge featuring your simself based on your real life if you had that composting upgrade on your home toilet.

4.24: Fools Rush In

Sunday, Week 24, Year2 (late winter)
Gisela: Last week was the absolute worst week of my life!
It started out really wonderfully and I'd thought Rogelio and I had grown closer than ever.
Then, Elise gave him a First Kiss in front of everyone, revealing that he'd been two-timing me all along.
My siblings and I graduated high school early on Friday, but Elise aged up to YA on Saturday and got a job.

From L to R: siblings Jose and Elise, Papa Marcos, Mama Izar (the Gen3 heir), and me (the Gen4 heir)

Now that Rogelio is Elise's boyfriend, he continues to come around all the time just like when he was mine.
This morning's the first time he let me apologize without getting angry with me.
He still feels hurt but he's no longer Bitterly Resentful and Furious.
A little improvement, I guess.

Jose: I've invited my girl Genesis to join our household and we're getting ready to age up.
Nice of you to take a slice from her cake, sis, instead of walking four steps to grab a meal from the kitchen.
Elise: You wouldn't understand.  I'm craving sweets this morning.

Jose: I gain Adventurous as my third trait and Genesis rolls Perfectionist.
It's not the most scenic spot, but I immediately propose to Genesis in our living room.
We'd wanted a small wedding but we've decided to stay well out of my sisters' dramatics
That's why we immediately elope right there in our living room.

Rogelio: You wanted to talk to me?
Elise: Do you notice anything different about me today?
Rogelio: Um, you seem to be putting on some weight?
Elise: No, you imbecile.  I'm pregnant.  Are you going to make an honest women out of me?

Elise (to herself): I really didn't want to get pregnant so soon.
But I can use it to guilt Rogelio into marrying me.
I'm sure he'd already been considering crawling back to Gisela.
Rogelio (to himself): I can't help but wonder if Elise got pregnant on purpose to trap me.
But I'm a Proper sim. If Elise is carrying my child, I must take responsibility.

Monday
At Quad Manor Library, Windenburg
Gisela (muttering to herself): I can't believe my sister didn't invite me to her and Rogelio's wedding today!
Librarian: May I help you find what you're looking for, young lady?
Gisela: Why, yes, thank you. I'm looking for a book about Chestnut Ridge. Are you familiar with that town?
Librarian (chuckles): Am I familiar? Why, you happen to be looking for my favorite book. This way, please.
Gisela: Thank you for your assistance. My name's Gisela Mistura.  And you are?
Librarian: My name's Cisco Wright, the Quad Manor librarian. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Cisco: If you don't mind my asking, what's your interest in Chestnut Ridge?
Gisela: I'm an amateur nectar brewer, so I long to live in Chestnut Ridge where the best nectars are brewed.
Cisco: Well, what a coincidence! I've also been wanting to move to Chestnut Ridge but for a different reason.
Listen, I get off work in 5 minutes. How about we relocate to a café so we can swap Chestnut Ridge stories?

Cisco: Let's exchange numbers, Gis3ela.  I'm thinking the Fates brought us together today.
Gisela: You were going to tell me why you want to live in Chestnut Ridge…
Cisco: Ah yes, I'm a librarian but I write mystery novels in my free time.
I can't be a sheriff, but I dream of moving to Chestnut Ridge and working as a detective!
Also, I want to live in a big farmhouse and raise a big happy family!
Gisela: Really? I want a big happy family, too!

Cisco: Gisela, do you believe in love at first sight? Don't you think we're made for each other?
Gisela: But my young adult birthday's still eight days away.
Cisco: I don't mind having a younger wife. But if it bothers you, why not age up early?
Maybe I'm moving too fast, but we shouldn't turn our back on the Fates, Gisela!
Gisela: It's all so sudden. What if we visit Chestnut Ridge tomorrow! You can show me around!
Cisco: It's a date!

Tuesday
Izar: Gisela! It's so nice to see you with a smile on your face for a change!
Gisela: I'm sure you've all had enough of me moping around the house.
Izar: So, what's changed?
Gisela: Well, I visited the Quad Manor like Papa suggested and really hit it off with the librarian, Cisco.
Marcos: See, Izar? I told you he'd be a perfect match for Gisela!
Gisela: What? You've already met him?!  Anyway, we're taking a day trip to Chestnut Ridge later today.

Gisela: This is my first time in Chestnut Ridge, but I'm sure you've traveled here before, Cisco.
Cisco: Yes, that's right. This here's the Oak Barrell. What do you think of your first glass of Strawberry Nectar?
Gisela: Honestly? I haven't actually tasted my own Strawberry Nectar but mine offers higher value!
Cisco: I look forward to sampling your brew! Now, I want to show you a special place. Ready?

Cisco: I've had my eye on this property for a while now. It's a bit pricey but worth every simoleon!
Gisela: What a beautiful farmhouse!
Cisco: Isn't it though? It has four bedrooms, large enough to accommodate "our"  Big Happy Family.
Can't you see us living here together, Gisela, raising a family, tending the garden, leading a peaceful life?

Cisco: You're probably thinking I'm in too big of a rush, but I know what I want.
And I'm not getting any younger, either.
I can't imagine raising a family here with anyone but you, Gisela.
Gisela: I, uh, I'd like that as well.
Cisco: So, when are you inviting me over to meet your family?

Wednesday
Gisela: I wait until Cisco gets off work at 1 pm, then host a big family dinner!
He won't regret saying he wanted to meet my family, will he?
Great-Grandpa Prince is there (but Great-Grandma Tiva was unavailable).
Uncle Andoni and Auntie Maite also arrive with their spouses.
I even invite my sister Elise and Rogelio.
She looks like she's about to go into labor, though, so I send her home.

While chatting with Aunite Maite and her husband Aiden, I suddenly get a tingly feeling.
Who is gossiping about me?  Who could be so mean when I'm trying to put my life back together?
Rogelio wouldn't tell Cisco about how he broke my heart, would he?
But I wonder where Cisco went? He's probably getting tired of chatting with my family by now.

Entering the back door, I'm shocked to see Papa and Uncle Aiden holding hands.
They seem really into each other, so I quietly back out of the room and close the door.
Darn it! I knew nothing good would come from Mama constantly being gone to work on her collections!
Let's not tell anyone about this, okay?
And what about Uncle Aiden? Do the Moonstrider men exude special Love Magnet pheromones!?

Thursday
Genesis: Your sister Elise gave birth to twins yesterday.  Why can't we have children, too?
Jose: Patience, Genesis.  We need to wait until Gisela is ready to move out.
Gebesus: And when will that be?
Jose: Pretty soon, I think.  I bet Cisco will pop the question to Gisela within the next couple of days.
Genesis: Eh, he hasn't even asked her to be his girlfriend yet! What's he waiting for?

Gisela: Yesterday, I threw a party to introduce Cisco to the family and realized I'd never met you, Grandepa Carlos!
Why didn't you and Grandpa Aritz ever come visit us?
Carlos: Your mother never even had time to chat with us on the phone. We figured our visits would be unwelcome.
Gisela: I'm not allowed to give you Immortality Potions but I can offer you both Rejuvenation Potions today.
When I have children of my own, I want them to know you!

Gisela:  Whoa, whoa, whoa! Papa, take your hands off Cisco right now!
Marcos: Hey, I'm not hugging Cisco.  I'm the one being hugged here!
Cisco: What can I say? Your father and I have Amazing Compatibility.
Gisela: Great news. On the other hand, you and I have no compatibility.
If I ever catch you two holding hands, I'll have to kill you both, y'hear?
Marcos: Huh? (unaware that Gisela saw him with Aiden yesterday)

Friday
Gisela: After work, Cisco invites me to the Von Haunt Estate.
He asks me to stand by the wedding arch while he proposes, then he runs off into the maze. WTH?
This has to be the weirdest marriage proposal in all of our simverse's history.
I'm not sure how his remote proposal worked, but I do end up engaged with an engagement ring.

When I click on the wedding arch to marry Cisco, he runs back from the maze.
Thank the Fates, we have a normal, face-to-face wedding!
Next, we stop briefly at the StrangerVille house so I can pick up my nectar bottles.
After saying our good-byes to the family, Cisco and I move to Chestnut Ridge.

Cisco: I dropped by here yesterday to remodel the stables.
Besides a bar, I've added a nectar cellar.
I placed the nectar-making machine on the ground floor.
But I imagine you'd rather have it in the nectar cellar, right?
Gisela: Oh, Cisco! You understand me so well!

Saturday
Gisela: Today, I was thinking of inviting the family over to help plant and water our new garden.
But Cisco insists he can do the planting and watering himself.
He wants to be able to help with our small garden after our infants arrive.
He started yesterday afternoon and only finished late this morning.

Our garden will only contain my nectar ingredients plus two cash crops: Dragonfruit and Orchids.
Oh and I also bought a Moneyfruit seed yesterday.
Chocoberry is an all-season fruit so it will be perfect for Berry Nectar!
Fortunately, I can buy Chocoberry at Finchwick's Garden Stand. No need to waddle around The Bramblewood!

When we get home, I visit my ob-gyn and learn I'll be having boy/girl twins.  Perfect!
Then, I sell more Finely Aged Nectar and complete my aspiration. *pumps fist

*Hare and Hedgehog (30x20): "Hare and Hedgehog Refurb" by maydussa.
A charming, greener renovation of the original café.
For obvious reasons, I deleted the 4 counter-top computers for customer use.
I also removed the four dog bowls and the Dog Friendly lot trait.

*Red Roan Field (64x64): "Bucks Meadow Farmhouse" by hey_harrie.
I watched her speed build on Youtube and it's a gorgeous lot.
We won't own horses, so I clumsily converted the stables into a nectary with cellar + garden.

Notes
*Cisco Wright: The previous week, Marcos & Izar visited every library in our simverse.
Each library had a different librarian but only two were male.
I made two tweaks to this sim.  First, I replaced his receding hairline for a different hairstyle.
He was a Day 0 YA when Marcos met him. I reset him to Day 0 several days later when Gisela met him.

*Fever pitch: My apologies if this update seemed to jump all ove the place.
This was the last week of Year 2 and I really wanted Gisela to start Year 3 with Cisco in their new home.
Also, I can't believe we'll be meeting two of the Gen5 kiddos next week!
Gisela deserves a peaceful week for a change. But no, there will be infants! Twins shouldn't be too bad, right?

I'm so glad Gisela has found a like-minded husband or rather her parents found him for her.

I've had a few buggy social interactions. Cassandras fight with Leo for example was back-to-back and off-set. But Cisco yelling his proposal from within the maze? Hilarious!

You seem to be having more autonomous romancing going like I am. Its a bit annoying when you've got people in a stable relationship. I wonder if Elise is going to cause more trouble...

Cisco has a fine beard! I'm not sure I've seen you play a Sim with such a bushy beard before. And such a fiery colour. Looking forward  to seeing the twins.

We (Marcos and I) were so pleased to come across Cisco Wright with his copper-red hair and excellent traits.
If I'd been smart, I would've had Marcos  (he's better at socializing than Izar) stopped at Cisco.
But no, we had to be greedy to compare ALL the librarians.  If we'd stopped after Cisco, the remaining libraries would've had unspawned librarians.
Now I'll have to wait for this generation of libraries to die off before new ones spawn.  If only I could do that over!

I used MCCC's MC Control feature to get Cisco (an NPC) to propose to Gisela.  Running off the maze was a new one for me!
As for Aiden, there's not anything particularly special about him besides his exotic features and long, pointy ears.
Yet any sim who interacts with him gets some positive sentiment with him.  Am I projecting? LOL

You are so observant.  I never add more than a soul patch to my male sims, Prince Mistura's stubble being an exfception.
So, you're correct: I've never played a sim with a beard except for my failed attempt at a story featuring Clement Frost (I didn't last longer than 5 minutes).
There are three shades of red hair; Marcos/Gisela have the darker, reddish first shade, while Cisco has the brighter, more coppery third shade.
Gisela chose to get pregnant right away (because the Big Happy Family aspiration takes forever to complete...) and I'm looking forward to meeting their twins.

Cisco moves quick! But he's great for Gisela. And she's already an Expert Nectar Maker!
They are off to a great start together.
Can't wait to see the twins! You've been lucky with the Boy/Girl twins - I'm jealous - when I get a boy/girl pair, they come with an extra sibling of one sort or the other.  ;D

Cisco gives Gisela his undivided adoration, which has really helped Gisela's heal.
Nectar-making in a basement cellar is such a great income-generating activity for Paranoid Gisela.
Their new farmhouse is quite expensive for their first home, but she can definitely pitch in to help pay the bills.

In my games without MCCC, the occurrence of mixed-gender twins is very rare.  MCCC, however, seems to like mixed-gender twins.
It feels like MCCC has a one-in-three chance of producing either girl twins, boy twins, or mixed-gender twins.
Haha, I'm very excited to meet the twins but I'm less than excited to deal with infants.
Also, Gisela will no doubt require the whole 7 days to raise todldlers in a reuglar residential lot.  Here we go!

4.25: Here Comes the Cavalry!

Sunday, Week 25, Year 3 (early spring)
Gisela: Today's the first day of the new life Cisco and I are starting together here in Chestnut Ridge.
It's also the first day of our legacy's third year. Time sure flies!
Just last week, I met Cisco at a library in Windenburg and now we're married and expecting!
I entered my 3rd trimester last night, so I should be going into labor this evening.

I wake up at the crack of dawn to tend our garden.
There's a lot of plants to care for, even though they're mainly ingredients for my nectar-making.
Considering I'll be a mother soon, perhaps we should consider splicing some of plants together.
If we can afford to pay the bills on Cisco's wages, I'd rather brew only 1-2 bottles of nectar a day.

Before we even have breakfast, Cisco invites over my parents to help him build a rocket ship.
He claims being Handy will help with his Detective career.
I guess it would've been hard to take babies to Great-Grandpa Prince's home to use his rocket ship.
Even so, I'm still not convinced that Detective is the right career move for Cisco.

Cisco wanted to throw a baby shower for me but, frankly, I'd rather prepare a nursery.
We have two sitting rooms, each with a fireplace, but no place for cribs and other baby essentials.
The room on the right is a good size but it connects to the kitchen via an archway.
I hate to give up the Solarium (you can also see it to the back right of the rocket ship), but it's the only option.
We can always return the original Solarium décor once the toddlers age up.

My new nectar cellar has 10 storage racks, but I'm only using seven of them right now.
At the moment, they contain exactly 66 bottles of nectar that are either Lightly or Moderately Aged.
I like to fill each 13-bottle rack with nectars of the same type, rather than the same age or quality.
Currently, I'm trying to fill my rack of Berry Nectars.

Monday
After giving birth at the hospital, I had Cisco help feed the twins then we aged them up right away.
Wiggly Jessie and Sensitive Lucinda are both pointy-eared Spellcasters, like me.
However, they have Cisco's slightly darker complexion and green eyes.
And does it seem to you that Jessie shares my hair color while Lucinda shares Cisco's lighter shade of giner?

Cisco: Looking after infants isn't as hard as I'd expected, but I'm still glad they're taking a nap now.
I just want to jot down some ideas for my next mystery novel. You're okay that I start work tomorrow?
Gisela: Don't worry about it. I've called in the cavalry!
Grandpas Grandpas Carlos and Artiz will arrive for a stayover starting tomorrow.

Tuesday
Gisela: My grandfathers arrive at 8 am sharp then chat out front with Cisco until he leaves for work.
Today's my birthday but I notice my Empathy has fallen out of range.
I quickly lead my grandpas to the nursery and introduce them to their great-grandkids.

My grandpas take over baby duty so I can volunteer at a nursing home.
I live in a gorgeous home with my loving husband and adorable children.  I'm surrounded by loving family.
Can my life get any more perfect than this?

Cisco gets back in another hour, but I can't wait.  I keep wanting to ask Grandpa Carlos for advice!
On aging up to a young adult, I become Family Oriented.
Mama often made Papa and we kids as if we were less important to her than her collecting and career.
Cisco and our children will never doubt who comes first in my book.

Wednesday
Gisela: While the kids are napping, I tend the garden then check on my bottled nectars.
I open my highest-quality bottle of Vitality Nectar and pour two servings for my grandfathers.
But, no matter what I try, I can't persuade them to drink it.
How disappointing that there's no way to share my home-brewed nectar with loved ones!

Jessie's learned nearly twice as many milestones as his sister Lucinda.
Is it because he's Wiggly and she's Sensitive?
This afternoon, Jessie eats in the high chair for the first time.
He's not sure whether or not he likes Rice Porridge, but he sure is cute!

Gisela: It's so wonderful to have you with us, Grandpa Aritz.
Aritz: Carlos and I weren't around while you were growing up, so it's nice to finally spend time with you.
Cisco: And thank you for mentoring me in Writing!
Aritz: Cisco, you are one of the family now.

Thursday
Cisco: I suddenly find myself at home instead of at work. Did you unintentionally enter CAS, Gisela?
Gisela: Sorry for forcing you to leave work early. But it's great timing because Lucinda's ready to age up!
Cisco: Oh, yes! I see that she feels both Well Cared For and Loved!
Gisela: While you age up Lucinda, I'll do Affectionate socials with Jessie until he also feels Loved.

Cisco: The twins' birthday is actually on Friday, so we're only aging them up a day early.
Btw, I'd like to retract my previous remark about infant care not being as hard as I'd expected.
Don't tell Gisela, but it's a huge relief to escape the infants to go to work.
Gisela: Would you light the birthday candles again? Jessie's ready to age up, too!

Cisco: I'm in the doghouse tonight.
Gisela had cooked a meal and was about to start reading to the twins while they ate.
Then, I I involuntarily walked up and picked Lucinda up.
It took Gisela another hour to get the twins seated, eating, and listening to her story again.
I'm just going to slink off and find something useful to do around the house.

Friday
Cisco: Since I accidentally only worked a few hours yesterday, I decide not to take today off.
Grandpa Carlos and his husband raised four kids and they both agree that toddlers are easier than infants.
I'm glad their five-day stayover lasts until (*counts fingers) Sunday morning!
Well, I better switch my brain to Detective mode before I arrive at the Police Station.

Gisela: I always need a few hours to myself in the mornings and that's when the Grandpas step in.
Our weekly bills come to about $6,000, but Cisco only earns slightly over $2,000 a week.
So, I spend the mornings tending the garden and, for now, making 2-3 bottles of nectar daily.
This house will feel so lonely when my grandfathers return to Glimmerbrook!

Watcher worries that y'all don't like her CAS collages whenever Mistura children age up.
Today, I try to snap a good shot of Jessie and Lucinda having lunch, but Jessie's eyes are closed.
Still, you can really tell whose hair color each child inherited.
Jessie and Lucinda have the exact same shades of red as me and Cisco, respectively.

Cooper Moonstrider invites me to the Spice Festival while Cisco's still at work.
Once he's home, I ask my grandfathers if they'd like to join us in San Myshuno.
Grandpa Carlos informs me that Elise lives in Chestnut Ridge, too, so I reluctantly invite her.

Elise: How dare you flirt with my husband in public!
Gisela: Stop being mean, Elise. Don't you know that Rogelio dislikes argumentative sims?

Gisela: Anyway, I was only complimenting Rogelio's appearance.
I'm here with my husband Cisco and our grandfathers, so back off!
Elise: Oh, um, I was only trying to protect Rogelio.  Did you know he aged up into an Unflirty sim?
Gisela:  By the way, when were you going to tell me that you lived in Chestnut Ridge?
Elise: We moved here straight from StrangerVille. I thought Papa already told you that.

Cisco: Now look what you've done! You've scared off Rogelio to go eat by himself.
Gisela:  I was worried that my spat with Elise would affect our friendship, but we're still BFFs.
I see he feels hurt, though. Cisco, do you mind if I go apologize to Cisco for causing a scene?
Cisco: No worries. I'm a Foodie, remember? Il be here sampling all the festival foods.

Saturday
Gisela: Another shot of the twins being cute while I'm on solo toddler duty.
Cisco's at work and my grandpas returned to Glimmerbrook straight from the festival last night.
Grandpa Carlos' last words were that, for everyone's ake, Elise and I needed to bury the hatchet. *sighs

Gisela: Elise told me last night that they live in Grapevine Terrace. I wonder why Elise chose this place.
The  hilltop house with its terraced vineyards is gorgeous, but neither Elise nor Rogelio are into nectar-making.
Cisco: It's about a 20-minute walk from our place but, still, they're our closest neighbors!
Gisela: Great, just great.

Elise: Meet my twins, Abigail and Cannon.
Cisco (whispers to Gisela): They're adopted?
Gisela (whispers back to Cisco): No. Did you forget Elise was in her 3rd trimester at my family party?
Elise: Hey, what are you two whispering about? Don't you know it's rude to whisper?
Gisela (whispers to Elise): Why don't your twins look like Rogelio's children?
Elise (whispers back): Because they're…not?

Notes
*Residential lots: I find it really difficult to play in homes downloaded from the Gallery.
Many of them are built for aesthetics but not for gameplay, and I have a particular way I like to play.
For example, I always want a house to have a ground-floor nursery and dislike overly cluttered rooms.
So far, I've placed two Gallery homes for my five remaining Mistura heirs.
The reason I mention this is because I love this Gallery farmhouse, but it's so huge that my sims often get lost.

*Cisco's Detective career: I do plan to occasionally join Cisco in his Detective career.
Infants and toddlers require lots of parental focus in Sims 4, but children always run out of things to do.
Sorry to keep you waiting, Cisco!  (You're a spare, remember?)

*Stayovers: My first stayover experience was when Prince was just starting out.
Kiyoshi Ito invited himself over for a stayover before Prince even had a proper home.
Kiyoshi spent a lot of time whining and feeling uncomfortable. It was so annoying, haha!
This is my first attempt at scheduling a stayover.  Gisela's grandfathers were very helpful.
They helped the kids whenever the kids requested and also sometimes helped spontaneously.
Aritz cooked, they both cleaned; they never got in Gisela's way when she tried to tend to the kids.
Of course, I could've just had Cisco not start working until the infants aged up.
But I wanted to see whether Gisela and her grandpas could handle the infants on their own.
  I love stayovers!

*Top-Notch Infant: Neither twin earned a single Level 2 toddler skill. I can live with that.
I believe it's conclusive: aging up an infant with the Well Cared For and Loved traits will earn Top-Notch Infant.

Jessie and Lucinda are so adorable, they make me wonder who you'll pick for heir.
Your spoiler surprised me, but I won't say with what so as not to spoil it for anyone who doesn't want it spoiled and therefore didn't read the spoiler.  ;D
Having the grandpas come and take care of the infants was a great idea!
And doesn't Cisco look handsome in his uniform?! 😍

Jessie and Lucinda are so cute that I don't even care that neither of them got Gisela's violet eyes, haha.
Green eyes look better with red hair, anyway.

According to Gisela's heir requirements, she needs to complete Big Happy Family and have three children with her spouse, Cisco.
My timing is probably completely off but I'm placing the twins in charge of Gisela's "Have 4 grandchildren" goal.

The Gen3 heir Izar was so busy with her aspirations, collections, and career that she never visited her fathers, not even once.
Consequently, Izar's children never got the chance to meet their grandfathers.
It was great fun having Carlos and Aritz around again; they were perfect houseguests.

As for Cisco, I do want to join him in his career so that he gets the level 5 promotion with that shoulder-holster detective outfit! (Was it Level 5?)

I am more than happy with whichever way you display the children. The CAS montages show them very clearly but you've managed to get them nicely in a regular shot. Both ways work.

I do hope your Detective career goes well - no bugs. I can't imagine you won't want to have Cisco top the promotions although it's a shame the Chief's outfit isn't the best.

Well done for managing the stayover so well. Once Infants have been introduced, their ability to manipulate those around them is a big help.

The twins are lovely, btw  :)

Thanks so much for the feedback. Introducing the children on their birthdays in Live Mode is, of course, more dynamic.
Personally, I prefer the CAS portraits because it's clearer (yes, your word choice is perfect) how the children compare genetically to each other and to their parents.

Actually, no, I will not be aiming to max Cisco's career. Gisela's Gen4 heir requirements don't require her or Cisco to max a career.
Haha, I absolutely agree that the Chief of Police uniform is unappealing!
As for the stayover by the grandpas, the Gen5 twins (Jessie and Lucinda) are the first in this legacy challenge to not live in a Tiny Home as infants and toddlers.
I don't care about infant skill milestones but I was initially shocked to see how slowly the twins were building their toddler skills.
I'm spoiled by Tiny Living!
