That's amazing. I'm not sure I've got the patience for it but it does look great. Thanks for the detail shot.

What an awesome house; it's sooo cute!! The download lots for Strangeville are also great finds. And the possibility of red-headed pointy eared children? *crosses fingers*

You can start small and experiment with a 3x4 roof over a front porch.  ;)
C'mon, give it a go!

I'm looking forward to the post-toddler stage. I have front-view photo and a floor plan for larger adobe-style one-story house that I can't wait to try recreating in the sims. As for the two Gallery lots, Izar couldn't find evidence in the StrangerVille Town Center archives, but it might've been because she's a teen.
As for the Western Saloon, it looks great on their outside, but the interior doesn't allow was many military personnel to gather as the default bar; I won't be using the Western Saloon again.

Welcome back! *happy dance*

You are too nice, Judi!
I had some tech issues which I got pretty depressed about, but they resolved themelves.
I'm super eager to get back to my Mishmash sims, especially since the next update will introduce Gen4!

Gentle readers, sorry for the two-week absence! I had some tech issues (again) and only came back online several days ago.
Anyway, we're back with Gen3 of the Mistura Legacy!  I can't wait to age the fourth-generation into teenagers!

3.19:  Kinder-Chaos!!!

Sunday, Week 19 (early autumn)
Izar: Time flies and  we've already entered our second week in StrangerVille.
II'm living here with my older brother Andoni and my fiance Marcos Pries.
Our action-packed first wirk centered on solving the StrangerVille Mystery.
This week won't be as thrilling but will offer chaos in its own way.
Here I am (left) with my brother Andoni (center) and fiiance Marcos (right).

Marcos: Wait, what? We're expecting?
Izar: We sure are! Aren't you happy, Marcos? You told me last night you couldn't wait to have children.
Marcos: But it's so sudden and, besides we're still teenagers.
Izar: No worries, sweetheart. Lots of 19-year-olds get married and have children!
Everything will be just fine!

Izar: Thanks so much for enlarging the house.
Marcos: It's nothing fancy. I just tacked two 4x4 rooms to the left side of the house.
Izar: That's perfect! One's our bedroom and other's a nursery!
Marcos: Yeah, Andoni's rooftop bedroom is officially the largest room in our house!

We spend the day visiting Casters Alley, a park and some residential areas for my collections.
To my dismay, I am finding mainly treasure maps, limestomes, and time capsules. Ugh!

Back home, it's time for go get nn ultrasound.
Macros and I are speechless to see the three little "bodies" in the scan.
My ob-gyn believes I'll be having a boy and two girls.
Wow.  Just wow.

Monday
We don't need to have a lot of money but we want to have enough to comfortably expand our home later.
That's why I'm painting when the mail arrives this morning, so Andoni offers to get the mail for me.
My two missing elements arrive in the mail, completing my collection.
It also means I've completed The Curator aspiration, which I hope will hope with my two other collections!

Marcos: I really wanted to throw a baby shower for Izar but it's unavailable under "Social Events."
I checked EA Answers HQ just in case and the recommended solution is a Factory Reset.
Izar and I agree that the bassinet reward, which can only be used for one day, isn't worth all that trouble.
We'll go visit our neighbors, the Moonstriders, instead!  Tomorrow, for sure!

Tuesday
Andoni: No vendor tables for us!  Marcos is crafting camping mascots.
I'm painting and Izar, who's working on Painter Extraordinaire to farm satisfaction, is painting, too.
We're going strictly Plopsy to fund the future house renovation.
Sure, I miss Arisa. But we'll be together soon!

My magic tome collection's only missing 4 tomes, so today's the day I transfer it to Grandpa Prince's home.
But first I give Grandpa Prince and Grandma Tiva each a Potion of Immortality.
Grandpa's looking surprisingly youthful. Is that just temporary?
Arrghh, the potion turns Grandma Tiva into a tense ghost. I check online, though, and it's only temporary.
But, hey.  She still should've thanked me.  Immortaility is immortality, y'know?

I couldn't leave the tomes at Grandpa's home. I guess I've become the library custodian.

The Moonstriders live in a grand Victorian house.
A bit too cluttered for me and there's so many laptops and computers that it's hard to talk with the family.
I hear that Magdelena recently gave birth to twin boys, but I only find Rogelio alone on the front porch).
Hmmm, white-blond hair, violet eyes, and those loooong pointy years like his brother Aiden.
Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

The triplets have arrived!  In birth order:
Elize (Eh-leez): my coloring but with Marcos' non-pointy ears
Gisela (soft "J"): my coloring and pointy ears.  Obviously the next heir
Jose (soft "J"): Marcos' coloring except for the jet-black hair. Too cute!

Marcos (whispers): Izar, are you sure those are my children?

Wednesday
Izar: Goodness gracious! The triplets look like angels but they're absolute monsters!
Top-Notch infants are over-rated!  I'll give them two more days then age them up to toddlers!
The triplets were all crying and exhausted when I left for Sixam.
Why haven't they slept? Why don't Andoni and Marcos look after them?  Arrgggh!

Marcos:  I hadn't imagined that raising triplet infants would be so crazy!  Why do they always fuss?
Izar: Don't ask me! I'm thinking of aging them up on Friday instead of Sunday.  Whaddya think?
Andoni: No complaints from me!  It means I can move in with Arisa three days earlier!
Marcos: By the way, this is a great place,. We should come here whenever the kids fall asleep!

Izar: Be honest with me, guys. Is there something wrong with me?
Marcos: Why do you say that?
Izar: I should be overflowing with maternal bliss but I only feel stressed out!
Andoni: The triplets are stressing me and Marcos out, too.  They won't stop crying!
Marcos: Do you think we should start heading home?
Izar: Let's stay until their Energy maxes out.  Another round of drinks, gentlemen?

Friday
Izar: Thursday sped by in a blur.  I visited Sixam, the Forgotten Grotto, Desert Bloom Park, and so forth.
Of course, we also spent some time with the triplets. *coughs
Today, we notice Elise and Jose feel Well Cared For, while Gisele feels Loved and Well Cared For.
It's birthday time!

The results are quite surprising!
Elise (Well Cared For) got Happy Infant and Gisela (Well Cared For + Loved) got Top-Notch Infant.
But Jose (Well Cared For) also got Top-Notch Infant. Go figure!
I'm just glad none of them were Unhappy Infants!

After that, many things happen in quick succession.
Andoni invites his fiancee Arisa over then they age up and elope.
Marcos and I also age up and elope, then we get jobs.
I join the Scientist career while Marcos joins the Military like his grandfather, Elwyn.

Now that our triplets are toddlers, I'm really enjoying motherhood.
They terrified me as infants, always crying and me not knowing what to do.
Look how well they pay attention while I read to them!

Saturday
It's been a hectic week but we've managed to pull through.
Considering my Scientist career, it might be a good idea to ask Grandpa Prince to stay over.
Our youngest Jose with droopy eyes is the most adorable of our triplets.

Our next heir Gisela (left) and firstborn Elise are pretty cute, too!

We've saved nearly 600k simoleons toward our home renovation, just through Plopsy.
Marcos and I can't wait to move out of our cramped little house.
And you know Andoni is eager to go live with his wife and children!  Next week, Andoni, next week!

Progress: End of Week 19
Residence: StrangerVille Overlook, Shady Acres

*Source Challenge:  All of Izar's heir requirements can be seen above.
Their source is "The Hero," No. 6 of The Postcard Legacy Challenge by sojutetime. The link is below:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1w-BEOyhtTEefgm47JZ1Y56i0kI1ei777KtSbPVxlYic/edit#heading=h.7r4husxtto3y
Note the requirements don't specify that the spouse must max their career.

*Sleepwear in hot-weather climates: I had a spot of trouble with this.
I dressed the trio in long-sleeved sleepwear and they started overheating in their cribs.
So I changed them to their hot-weather outfits.
But everytime the grownups dropped by, they changed them back to their long-sleeved sleepwear.
I ended up entering CAS and switching their sleepwear to resemble hot-weather outfits.
Is the game pushing me to use thermostats?  I only use them in the high school auditorium.

*Horse Ranch packHas your game been a little wonky since this expansion?
I hate that townies without stables can auto-adopt horses.
I can no longer throw baby showers but have 3 new Horse Ranch social events.
Lastly, my genetics are off.  Why does Jose have jet-black hair?
  Wah, wah, wah.

The red Pries hair lost in just one generation? What a disappointment! Still, Giselais a lovely infant/toddler and she does have pointy ears. I should think we're all thinking what you're thinking about Rogelio, lol.

I've definitely had some unexpected genetic results. Cassandra Calixte has 2 parents with black or jet-black hair but she has mid-brown. Maybe she was swapped at birth with one of yours?

Is Top-Notch-Infant purely down to the Loved and Well-Cared-For buffs? That's pretty easy with singles or twins but I can imagine it's a nightmare with triplets! I find,  as Watcher,  I can't leave them or their needs tank even if I wait until they're asleep. I just always write off the Infant stage insofar as getting anything else done.

I haven't tried for a baby shower because I don't enjoy them irl,  lol. I'll have a look on my game and see if they're available.

Sigh, yes, not even a single redhead out of that bunch.  But Gisela has violet eyes with pointy ears and she's lovely. *sniffle, sniffle
Top-Notch Infant is, afaik, unrelated to milestones. I'd never aged infants up early before, but now i shall never do 5 full days of infanthood again.

Regarding infants/toddlers at home:
If she leaves Andoni and/or Marcos home with the kids, the kids' needs don't recover. If they were exhausted when she leaves, they'll be exhausted when she returns.
However, if she takes Andoni & Marcos with her, the infants' needs recover.
That's why the grown-ups can go out when the kids go to bed, staying out until their Energy recovers 100%. It works that way with toddlers, too.

I'm not a fan of the Sims 4 Baby Shower either actualy.  The gold-medal bassinet is only usable for 24 hrs at most. It's more the principle, haha.

@Granny Lawlor
Here's a screenshot to show fast Energy recovers when all the grown-ups leave the house.

Upper shot: Taken at 3:19pm
Izar took Andoni/Marcos along with her while she looks for dig sites.
The other two toddlers ate, went potty, then went to sleep in the tents.

Lower shot: Taken about 80 minutes later at 4:38pm
The toddlers' Energy is almost fully recovered and notice that their other needs have barely changed.

I imagine this will be quite useful for your RDC and its early age-up requirements!  But you can only use it for the Kennas. Just kidding!

Izar made fast work of the Strangerville Mystery! Great job Watcher!

Your triplets are all adorable, and really, changing hair color is so common in real life. Who knows, Gisela could go to a sleepover or camp and come home with red hair or sparkly tinsel tightly woven into her hair that will still be there two weeks later, even after swimming and showers! (Go ahead, ask me how I know.  ;D)

Regarding Tiva as a ghost - the potion made her a ghost temporarily, but did it also make her immortal? Or did it make her a temporary ghost instead of making her immortal?

Izar sped through the StrangerVille Mystery because I wanted her to be done with that requirement before having babies and, a week later, joining her rabbithole career.
Not to mention the time required for her collections!

Oh, great insight into today's children, camps, and hair color changes.
Maybe Gisela can turn into a ginger after all, if only to break up the monotony of consecutive generations of brunettes.

As for Tiva, I checked her stats using MCCC which attributes her status to "cauldron failure," that is, a failed potion.
Izar immediately gave her a second potion and I haven't checked Tiva except in the relationship panel.  Lol, she's still a ghost.
We'll be visiting that household soon so maybe we can "fix" Grandma Tiva.

3.20: Enough with the Time Capsules!

Sunday, Week 20 (mid-autumn)
Izar: We begin our third week in StrangerVille and it's been a wild ride so far!
Our first week, the three of us saved StrangerVille from its mysterious infestation.
And last week, we survived the chaos of triplet infants, who aged up to toddlers this past Friday.
Also, Andoni and Arisa aged up and got married last Friday, as did Marcos and I.  Whew, what a week!
Here we are from L to R: Marcos holding Elise, brother Andoni, me holding our next heir Gisela, and Jose.

I was really counting on the Flea Market happening today, but it's not until next week.
All is not lost!
By noon, Independent Jose is the first to max all his toddler skills.

Our next heir, Angelic Gisela, maxes all her skills two hours later.
(Inquisitive Elise will need another three-and-a-half hours after that.)
Now, what will they do until their birthday five days from now?
There's really nothing more they can do as toddlers, so we'll probably age them up early.

Andoni: I haven't written a single novel since arriving in this town and I don't mind that one bit.
It's great to be up and about instead of staying indoors, hunched over a typewriter or laptop.
Some days, I'm the official Plopsy Shipper.
When any of our merch sells, it's transferred to my inventory and I hoof it to the mailbox to ship it.

Izar: Since we live with Andoni, we see a lot of his wife Arisa.
Tonight, we invite our sister Maite and her husband Aiden along to dinner in Sulani.
Aiden's so attractive. I can't help but wonder how his younger brother Rogelio will grow up.
I mean, it's entirely up to our daughter Gisela but it's a mother's duty to scope out options, right?

Monday
Marcos: My daily task's to March Around but I'm so Fatigued after marching for nearly three hours!
Can you help, Watcher?
Watcher: *resets Marcos
Marcos: Oh, that checked off my daily task at last. I'm going home and treat myself to a long bath!

Izar: By the way, did I tell you that I've dialed back on my crystal and metal collections?  Base game only, y'all!
And what luck! My first day at The Lab is Collection Day!
I do a single work task to give the dig sites a little time to spawn.
My crystal collection is only missing one crystal, which I find around 4pm.
Working late (10am-9pm), I dig up a whopping total of 77 dig sites.

Not gonna lie! I couldn't have covered so many dig sites without my Transportalate spell.
On the plus side, I only need three more metals to complete my last collection.
But what is with all those freaking Time Capsules!? That's what I wanna know!

Tuesday
Andoni: We'll be aging up the toddlers tomorrow, which means I'm free to move out tomorrow as well.
Thursday's Harvestfest, though, so I think I'll stick around until Friday.
I can help the kids get a head start with school and scouting before the weekend.
*whispers: Did I mention I'm not that keen about living with Arisa's family?

Marcos: Izar's gone to The Lab by herself today.
Here's our eldest, Elise, enjoying a salad on the patio sofa.
The kids will be devastated when their Uncle Andoni moves out, I'm sure.
Hmmm, maybe my idol Prince would enjoy spending time with his great-grandchildren?

Wednesday
Marcos: We have rather ambitious plans for today!
Before Izar leaves for work at 10am, we age up our Top-Notch Toddlers into children.
First up is our firstborn, Elise.

Elise becomes an Art Lover like me.
Gisela becomes a Perfectionist.
And Jose becomes a Geek like his mother.
Next, soon after Izar leaves for work, we bulldoze our Tiny Home.

We now live in a one-story, three-bedroom home with a pool!
For the time being, Andoni shares Jose's bedroom.

In the back, we have a narrow patio.
From the right, you see the master bedroom's veranda and ensuite.
Then, there's an outdoor dining area next to our very own pool!

As you can see from the floor plan, we've fitted the garden into a covered patio on the left.
The large room in the lower right is a skilling room for all ages.
Our new house feels a bit cramped on a 40x30 lot, but we'll try and make it work.

Thursday
Marcos: Everybody's off today except Izar who decided to work.
She's really close to her next promotion.
While she's at work, I take the kids and visit the Moonstriders who have two boys their age.
Gisela seems pretty gungho about Rogelio.  Maybe I should talk to her about playing hard to get?

Marcos: It's an incredibly tight fit to build a treehouse on our lot.
Andoni: I don't think it's worth it, Marcos.
This weekend, why don't you take the whole family to visit Izar's fathers in Glimmerbrook?
I bet they'd love meeting your triplets. I'm pretty sure Grandpa Prince has a treehouse, too.

Friday
Andoni: I've been helping my sister here in StrangerVille for the past three weeks.
I'd like to spend my remaining three weeks as a young adult with my own family.
Gisela is done with scouts and the kids are off to their first day of school.
Izar's family will be fine without me.  I'm gonna miss this sunny weather, though!

Gisela: Elise, Jose, and I bring home B grades from our first day of grade school!
We didn't manage to make any new friends at school.
Elise invites Cooper over afterwards, and I invite his twin Rogelio.
I start a game of Don't Wake the Llama to get to know the twins better.  Sorry, Jose!

Jose: So I'm the fifth wheel today. Whatevs!
I'm gonna beat Elise to Llamacorn Scout while she's busy trying to impress the Moonstrider twins!
Last night, I read about Rose Sandoval and how she made a bunch of friends at the Celebration Center.
Maybe we can go there this weekend! That'd be sweet!

Gisela: While Jose and Elise are busy finishing up scouts, I quietly craft a Friendship Bracelet.
Rogelio and I are officially Bracelet Buddies!
It's not like I'm hiding it from the others.
(whispers: Elise always wants what I have, though, so I'm just being careful…)

Saturday
Izar: Grandpa Prince comes out to welcome us and seems to happy to meet the triplets.
Grandma Tiva is indifferent to us.
She must be holding a grudge about my Potion of Immortality turning her into a ghost.
I can't use the Decursify or Dedeathify spell on her, though. I don't know what else to do.

For some reason, Gisela can't play in the treehouse on Grandpa Prince's lot, so we don't stay there long.
Back home, Gisela loves pretending she's an island castaway.
We should take the kids on a day trip to the beach tomorrow. I bet they'll enjoy that!

Izar: Poor Jose!
At Celebration Center, the only other children Jose's age are his sisters.
I'd love to take Jose park-hopping tomorrow, but I can't miss the Flea Market!
Hopefully, there'll be time for everything, the Flea Market and new friends for Jose!

Isn't it bizarre how many time capsules we get?!?
The time capsules weren't a bad idea, but like so many of their ideas, they so completely overdo it that it becomes tiresome.
Smart move going to base game collections!

The kids are all adorable. It's good that you had clear reason to choose your heir - without that, it might have been difficult.

I'm so surprised that you didn't have more kids at the Celebration Center - when Rose went there were always kids there - except the one day she took off from school and went during school hours. But as soon as school was out, kids came walking by and she could go out and stop them to meet and chat.
