Hey Oshizu, sorry to hear you're having some frustrating problems. Many purchases of Growing Together through the EA app, as opposed to the Sims 4 website, bugged out. You should be able to repurchase the game through the website, and then seek a refund of the bugged out app one. Or vice versa. Maybe that helps. Good wishes for your health, and hope to see you back to writing stories soon!

Thanks for the tip.  I was able to download Growing Together just tine.
My Game Library has been missing Get Together and the Digitial Deluxe Upgrade add-ons despite my attempts to contact EA Help. 

I'd love to follow your suggestion to re-purchase the packs then request a refund.  However, my last LiveChat session got disconnected with the EA Game Advisor marking my case as "Fixed." Since then, whenever I try to request a LiveChat session, I get an error message: "Whoops! The authentication bot found an error, please try again later."
I am beyond frustrated and am hoping that we will see an enjoyable alternative to The Sims 5 in the future because I'm fed up with EA Customer Service.
Well, now that I've worked myself up into a negative mood, I guess I'll go lie down and rest my back. Ugh! No, not yet! I want to catch up on everybody's updates first!

The original Prince (rest in peace) was incredibly accomplished so I couldn't resist raising the bar on Prince Mistura's standards.

Haha, no, I don't intend for you to be guessing the original legacy challenge.
The reason I want to keep each generation's requirements under wraps until they complete them is to avoid spoiling future plot developments.
With all of my founder Prince's requirements laid out, how his life unfolds won't be as much as a surprise.
And the reason for this approach is, though each founder/heir will have requirements to satisfy, I'd really like to focus on telling each sim's story.

Also, I'm a diehard Prince (miss him so much!) but I must also say that Prince Mistura might be my most attractive founder yet. *winks

Sunday, Week 1 (1st week of spring)
Prince: Well, here I am at Ward Park. Whaddya think of my makeover?
You're probably thinking it's a bit too much since I only recently became a teen.
At first, I thought so, too.


Then, I looked at photos of Prince from when he was 20-21 years old.
That fluffy hair, guyliner, and bared chest all hail the start of his flamboyant legacy of fashion.
Compared to his appearance, my look seems rather tame, don't ya think?
No skin-tight, leopard-print T-shirt with a plunging neckline for me!

Oh, and speaking of legacy, how I start out has changed substantially.
Did you notice Ward Park is once again a park without my tiny house?


The other night, Watcher saw a video where LilSimsie gave her definition of a legacy challenge:
She said it's any challenge lasting 10 generations with a penniless founder starting on a big, empty lot.
That's why Watcher evicted me from my cozy, $15,954 house on that 20x20 lot.
But I don't need a huge lot cuz this ain't a legacy challenge where we always live in the same place.
Instead, I bulldoze and buy the 40x30 Inner Circle lot, then drop my funds to zero. *sighs


So much for my initial plan of spending today earning as many scout badges as possible.
My empty pockets force me to combine that with making money.
Some foraging, some fishing, then homework and reading at the library.
At the library, I unwillingly crush hard on a teen I met there named Tiva.
After that, it's an uphill battle to read a Guitar skill book because I'm feeling Very Flirty.



Monday
I guess I shouldn't be attending school actively if I want to earn that B.
But I'm too curious to meet more sims my age.
I wonder if I'll enjoy high school or if I'll decide to graduate early.


While spending time at two parks and the library Sunday, I met a half dozen teens.
None of them attend Copperdale High School.
My very first friend Cher Berra even lives in Copperdale, so I don't know why she's not here.
There's a cool Hawai'ian dude sitting next to me. I definitely want to meet him!


Since I'm broke, I'm not sure I want to bother trying to become an Admired Icon.
Just in case, though, I join a T-Pose Challenge after school.


Before I can begin making music, I need cash to buy musical instruments and other equipment.
I'll start by painting to earn money and fame at the same time.
A simple home would be great, too.
Can you believe Kiyoshi Ito, one of my BFFs, phoned me this morning, asking to stay over?



Tuesday
Kiyoshi: I'm having such a hard time here!  I'm so depressed, but you don't even care!
Prince: Yo, stop whining! Your family's loaded and you invited yourself to stay over with me.
Kiyoshi: But your "house" is only a restroom with two sleeping bags under a roof!
Prince: Dude, this is the best I can do right now. Your Gloomy Presence is bringing me down!


After school, Tiva comes over to invite me to Prom as friends.
I only accept cuz it's a friendly invite. Your boy has no time for romance!
I'm a 2-star celeb now, thanks to selling my paintings to Collectors.

Tonight, I host a yard sales in front of Orchid a Go Go to sell Sunsurfer frogs.
Besides $20k from paintings, I earn $5k from the yard sales. Every penny counts, right?



Wednesday
After school (I get a B finally), I return home to find that Watcher's built me a house!
It's exactly the same as my "first" house at Ward Park. (Watcher: Thank you, MyLibrary!)
This lot's bigger, of course, so the hedges look odd but let's worry about landscaping later.
And, yeah, that's Kiyoshi's suitcase out in the street. I can't move it. *rolls eyes


The bedroom's small to make room for a larger music studio, which I can't wait to kit out!
I wonder how soon I can shift my main gig from painting to music.


I invite friends over to do homework together (and cuz an Admired Icon needs 10 teen friends).
It's like my neighbors were waiting for me to get a house to do the Welcome Wagon thing.
Venessa Jeong lives across the street.  What a looker! (Hmmm, "Neighbors with Benefits"?)
As for Angela Pleasant, ain't she a long ways from home?

My three closest friends share a small house in Copperdale.
That's blond Cher Berra on my right, my prom date Tiva in front of me, and Marlon Pries behind Tiva.


I stand corrected about Angela! She had every right to join the Welcome Wagon.
Once Venessa and I become good friends, I learn that she's married to Angela.
Cher spoils the mood by asking me to Prom as friends.
Isn't there a sisterhood code of honor about not inviting your roomie's Prom date?



Friday
Yesterday sped by in a blur because I'd joined the Chess Club and Simfluencer career Wednesday.
I'm gonna spend my teen phase doing teen stuff, I guess.
Since I didn't study for today's Exams, I take a vacation day from school instead. Hah!
I've never cooked before but I boldly host a Dinner Party and earn a gold medal.


Next, I hustle over to Orchid A Go Go Lounge to host a Fan Meet and Greet.
The sight of my neighbor Venessa swooning when I give her my autograph is delightful.
I buy drinks for all my fans and pose for some pictures, too.


I invited Kiyoshi Ito as well and his whiny, nasal voice is recognizable from across the room.
Luckily for me, his stay-over ended yesterday. Who knew he'd be such a whiner?
I mean, if he wanted the red-carpet treatment, he should've just stayed at his luxurious home.
There I was hustling for every penny and he was depressed because I ignored him?


To my surprise, my Fan Meet & Greet earns a gold medal.
Having a Pristine Rep makes social events so much easier!



Saturday
With all that's been happening, I haven't had much time for my music.
This morning, I mix a music track for the first time on my brand-new Mix Master Music Station.
The track's only normal quality, but I send a copy to the Dinky Beats label anyway.
C'mon, Dinky Beats!  Sign me up!


As soon as I become a Three-Star Celeb, I immediately buy and donate 8 Virtuoso Violins to the fans.
The good news: I'm now a Four-Star Celeb.
The bad news: My household funds dropped to $3,295. 
I really want to earn my 5th star with music, but the music industry is a miserly muse for sims!


The Auditorium's all decked out for tonight's Prom!
Now to go look for Tiva.
Oh, by the way, it took me several tries yesterday, but I finally got over my crush on Tiva.
After all, my best girl is my guitar!


Tiva looks amazing tonight!
I ask her to be BFFs then we go to the Photo Booth where we take two photos.
This is our second photo. The first was so awful, I'm not showing it to anyone!


I almost ignore the phone call, but it's a music producer!
Guess who just signed up as the newest artist on the Dinky Beats label?
As soon as I hang up, I get another phone call.
If I don't send them a new track that's good soon, they're gonna drop me? The heck?


While I was dealing with the Dinky Beats folks, Tiva was crowned Prom Royalty.
Tonight's Prom Jester is Morgan Fyres.  My votes exactly!
Someone even asked me for a selfie while I wasn't paying attention! Nice!
Also, I "re-crushed" on Tiva. Didn't even know that was a thing!
(Funny thing about Tiva. I can't be her boyfriend but I don't want her with anyone else, either.)


I turn down two after-prom party invites to go home and ship my stupid Trendi listings.
Can't wait to see Joaquin Le Chien in the tacky Cowboy outfit I styled!
Then, I go to chill at Studio PBP but get hassled by Paparazzi.
(Um, I discover chasing off another celeb's Paparazzo counts for the aspiration, too. *coughs)
Welp, might as well go home and work on a new music track.

*Prince's requirements: Subsequent heirs won't have so many requirements.
  But the artist Prince had mastered 27 musical instruments by the age of 20.
  He was also an unbelievable performer, songwriter, and producer.
  He fought for ownership of his own recording masters and helped others to do the same.
  Since my founder bears his first name, he's gotta be over the top, too.

*Artistic profitability: Making music isn't anywhere near as profitable as paintings or novels.
  Using a Digitalistic Sketchpad, a large painting takes around 40 sim-minutes.
  A novel takes four hours in general, but only two hours for a sim in the Writer career.
  Meanwhile, writing a song takes all day.
  There are mods out there that shorten the songwriting time to 4 hours.
  Since we're limited to licensing one song weekly per instrument, songwriting isn't very lucrative.
  So unbalanced.  Such a shame.

*Copperdale High: This is my first time playing a teen at the very start of a save file.
  All of the Copperdale High students are the game's premade teens which, I guess, is not that surprising.
  I'd moved into three teen roomies into Copperdale, hoping they'd attend Copperdale High. No such luck.

Prince's cc head and facial hair really changed his appearance. I'm in sim-love with him, haha.
As for Rags-2-Riches, I'd never tried combining making money with earning Fame, so this was a new experience for me.
He can only earn fame by the "Sell to Collector" interaction, so selling from the Street Gallery object was out.
He also did other Fame-gaining stuff like the Social Networking socials.  I've never had a sim earn Fame so quickly.

Kiyoshi's stay-over was so weird. He was constantly sad so Prince always had the "Gloomy Presence" from Kiyoshi plus some shared sadness moodlet.
Prince never figured out what Kiyoshi's deal was though he tried to cheer Kiyoshi up at least once a day.
Kiyoshi's call to ask if he could stay over caught me off guard. Prince should've said no, LOL!

I'm thrilled that Prince is a 4-star celebrity already. If he can just get asked for selfies twice, I can mostly forget about that aspiration.
I want to see if Prince can support himself just by playing music, writing songs, and mixing music tracks.

Tiva is rather nicely playing the role of possible partner.  She's lovely, she's around, she seems available and maybe interested, he doesn't want her with anyone else...yep, he's going to choose Morgan Fyres because redheads  ;=)  Oh, some possible song lyrics I wrote for Prince, "My prom date's named Tive, Kiyoshi's a diva."  Feel free to ignore that, but I thought the Tiva and diva rhyme was fantastic and Kiyoshi fit it so well  ;=)
Fantastic makeover for our boy, by the way!!  And when you popped those Prince (age 20-21) pictures up there, I must say, you really nailed it!  Clearly not an attempt to literally make Prince as a Sim, but absolutely drawing through lines of inspiration.  Totally nailed it!

I'm so glad you gleaned a helpful tip or two from Prince's first week.
He could've sold his paintings for more using the Street Gallery, but the Sell to Collectors option got him to 3-Star Celebrity plus he completed the Fab Wealthy aspiration. Incidentally, this only works for gaining fame when your sim doesn't need followers.
As a Rags-2-Riches start, things worked out well for him.
But Morgan Fyres did get a mention! Prince voted for her as Prom Jester!  She is one of his many teen friends, nothing more.
As for my simverse, it's the usual one except that I deleted a half dozen premade household and added roughly the same amount of households of my own sims.
The Venessa/Angela marriage is thanks to the MCCC mod which has already (quite aggressively) paired off a good number of single sims.
Based on my settings, MCCC checks every Wed and Sat for eligible marriage or pregnancy sims.  I'm wondering now if twice weekly checks is too often. Hmmmm.

Tiva's lovely but she and Prince don't exactly share the same life goals (she's a Perfectionist Maker due to being originally created for life in Evergreen Harbor). Haha, as for Morgan, I know, right? When Morgan came around looking lovely, the temptation was great.

As for Prince's makeover, I couldn't really find the right hair cc but I'm really happy how he turned out.
Finding the appropriately outrageous but not tacky clothes is not easy, either. Hopefully, I can eventually discover a suitable "pimp diva" look for our Prince Mistura. Maybe when he's older?
