So many perfect things in this episode!
Firstly, Graham is a sweetheart although calling his mother Jasmine speaks to a distant relationship.
Ah, Jasmine! Regaining Judith's original snobbery. I do enjoy the new traits system although I find it doesn't take much to trigger them. I am wondering what triggered Snob?
Also, that Thorne! With a gorgeous wife like Octavia, he can surely only be after capturing headlines.
Sorry about the lack of clarity about who exlaimed, "Hopple Borfna, Jasmine!" Prince mentioned Graham's presence in the preceding line, but Graham doesn't have any speaking lines yet.
While Jas and Prince were sitting in a living room (they have two!), she triggered the Snob trait after complaining about the TV size, haha.
In my games, Thorne's always out and about by himself. I never see him with the lovely Octavia.
(Why does their son Orange always grow into such a hulk, though? I'm tempted to slim him down in CAS, hehe)
I've never been a fan of Judith Ward, but I thought, give Jasmine a chance. Prince wants to be with her so she can't be all snobbery and selfish. But flirting with Prince's arch nemesis right in front of Prince? And then sneaking out to meet said arch nemesis despite the obvious high likelihood of getting caught! But that PALES in comparison to calling little Graham a "brat"! I can't believe Prince let that one slide. I hope he's paying attention and making a plan, because that momma's a bad momma. Maybe Jasmine and Thorne deserve each other, because Prince, Graham and Octavia all deserve better than that.
Okay, end of rant. But how about that Graham now? He's looking pretty cute these days, dancing up a storm and sitting in the big boy chair playing with his wabbit tablet. He sure made short work of the toddler skills, while living in his enormous and gorgeous not-tiny-home mansion. Prince should be very proud of both Graham and himself. And just possibly gave a bit of credit to his Watcher, who brings a lot to the table in terms of efficient sim living, AND had the foresight to suggest not co-mingling funds with that . . . that . . . that Jasmine!
I've also never played Judith Ward. In my other challenges, since Judith is so famous, she usually won't give my sims the time of day.
But I had the choice of going with Judith/Jasmine or of adding a different 5-star celeb to Prince's simverse.
Jasmine and Thorne seem to have been cut from the same cloth, haha.
After the infant stage, Prince helping Graham with his toddler skills was familiar and faster than I'd expected.
Except for a little time at the end with the slide and fantastical tent, though, Graham was always taught by Prince (who triggered the Strict family dynamic).
Graham is a good toddler. He got the Hates Bedtime quirk but has never fussed about going to sleep or staying asleep.
Oooo, will Prince see the news report? Is their marriage going to be on the rocks? What an outstanding cliff hanger!!
Excellent work with your first toddler!! You and Prince totally nailed it, and Jasmine...well...she's pretty. I mean, she's no Morgan Fyres or anything, but she's OK ;=) Yes, the contrast of her being jealous because Morgan gives Prince a neighbourly gift but then flirting with Thorne at the Starlight Accolades and then going for coffee with him was fantastic! Another lovely update!
Yes, Thorne and Jas are heading for a train wreck all by themselves! I mean, Jas did sneak out but Thorne phoned her for a date first.
Lawdie, Graham as an infant was so intense!!! We were disappointed that Graham started his toddler stage with only L1 Communication and L1 Thinking.
But, thankfully, recuperating those two lost skill levels was so much quicker than trying to earn those infant milestones in the first place, haha!
The best thing about the infant stage is that I no longer dread the toddler stage, LOL!
