Isn't it bizarre how many time capsules we get?!?
The time capsules weren't a bad idea, but like so many of their ideas, they so completely overdo it that it becomes tiresome.
Smart move going to base game collections!

The kids are all adorable. It's good that you had clear reason to choose your heir - without that, it might have been difficult.

I'm so surprised that you didn't have more kids at the Celebration Center - when Rose went there were always kids there - except the one day she took off from school and went during school hours. But as soon as school was out, kids came walking by and she could go out and stop them to meet and chat.

Going for the base-game crystal and metal collections means less grinding dig sites for Izar.
For crystals, Alexandrite would require trips to Selvadorada and Izar's already visited Sixam over a dozen times without finding the (common) Nitelite crystal.
For metals, Izar's only missing three base-game metals.  There are other things I'd rather be doing than waiting for dig sites to spawn, haha.
Having Izar work all day then spend evenings chasing dig sites is not my idea of having fun.

As for the triplets, I favor Jose and his darker complexion but would prefer a female heir for Gen4. Sorry, Jose!

Are you playing with the default version of the Celebration Center?  Maybe my problem was that the kids were indoors.
But there's not much outdoors except for the space rocket jungle gym.
They aren't doing Social Butterfly but I do want them to meet more children and it's nice to see all the townies' offspring.

How great that Gisela is on-board with the violet eyes/white hair Rogelio. Do we know his new trait?
When she was giving him a gift i noticed Elise looking on in the background so it was interesting the comment about her always wanting what Gisela has...
Also 2 hints about Gisela's intended residence maybe...?
I love guessing where your story is going!

Both white-haired Rogelio (Proper) and his brunette twin Cooper (Loves the Outdoors) have violet eyes and pointy ears.
Apart from the hair color, Cooper is actually the more attractive child, so I'm curious to see them as teens.

I'm so glad you enjoy trying to guess at plot developments! That motivates me to weave a better "story."

Mistura Mishmash Legacy 3.21: Can You Dig It?
« Reply #243 on: August 23, 2023, 11:24:50 AM »
3.21: Can You Dig It?

Sunday, Week 21 (late autumn)
Izar: Last week was pretty busy but we hope our life is finally starting to settle down.
I completed my crystal collection on Monday and our triplets aged up to children on Wednesday.
We also moved into a large house on Wednesday, then my brother Andoni moved out on Friday.
Today's Sunday and we're all hyped about the Flea Market!

From L to R: Jose, Elise, Marcos, me (the Gen3 heir), and Gisela (the Gen4 heir).

Izar: Wait, what?  No Flea Market today?
Darn it, it must've been last week but I must've checked the calendar at the wrong time!
Last Sunday's the day when our toddlers maxed all of their skills.
Oh well, let's go find some kids your age, Jose!

Jose: After lunch at a Chinese food stall, we leave for Desert Bloom Park.
I meet so many kids here!
Adriel Charm, Dylan Munch, Kristy Rasoya, Tessa Harris, Krystyn Harris, and Kiana Robles!
Papa says they're all descended from the premade townies, but where are all the boys?

Too many kids to befriend in one afternoon!
So I introduce myself to all the kids and learn a little about their personalities.
I can invite a few of them over after school later this week.

Monday
Izar: Marcos goes to work at his office for the first time, returning home at 2 am.
He's been working from home all this time, so I forgot how hawt he looks in his black suit.
Must be hard to work at night with dem shades, though.

Jose: Hey, Gisela! Wait for me!
Gisela: Hurry up, slowpoke!  Elise already left for school without us!
Jose: She always does that! Hey, I can't believe Papa got the three of our own bikes this morning!
Gisela: Me, neither! We can practice riding them after school today!

Marcos: Our Family Tree described Izar's Grandma Tiva as "Deceased due to Ghastly Consequences."
So we visited her yesterday, just long enough for me to give her a second Potion of Immorality.
After Izar leaves for work this morning, I invite over her over so you can see she's cured.
As you can see, she's looking alive and well again.

Jose: Gisela, why aren't you practicing with your bicycle?
Gisela: It's so hard that I'm taking a break. I'll go work on my school project or something.
Jose: Well, come practice with us later when you're feeling better, okay?

Elise: No fair, Gisela! You have Papa to help you learn to ride a bike!
Gisela: Calm down, Elise! Did you forget that I took a two-hour break?
Even with Papa's help, I won't learn to ride a bike tonight!

Tuesday
Izar: Today, I ignore my family in search of my last three missing metals.
Working from 10am-9pm, I find two of them plus 20 time capsules and 22 robot salvage parts.
Back home, I learn Marcos left for work in a Mental Fog and our children are still alive.
In desperation, I travel to Sixam but fail to find my last metal. It's Punium, a common metal.

Wednesday
Gisela: Last night, Jose learned to ride a bike all by himself and Elise decided she dislikes fitness.
Papa lets me take a vacation day from school and helps me learn to ride a bike.
Wheeee, look at me go!

Papa's been painting since yesterday, trying to get out of a Mental Fog.
I don't want him to start burning out again, so I help him tend the garden.
Papa and I make a great team!  He's super handsome, too!
When I'm old enough to move out, I'm thinking I'll take Papa with me!

You've probably figured out by now that I'm a bit of a Daddy's Girl.
Honestly, can you blame me?
Mama's always busy with her stupid rocks, so Papa would get lonely if not for me!

When Izar visits Bedrock Straits to seek her last missing metal…
Tony Zest: Thanks for extinguishing me, Izar. I'll never forget that you saved my life!
Izar: So, no hard feelings?
Tony: Tell that to Don Gooseman's spirit! He was a legendary Horse Champion living in Chestnut Ridge.
After Don's death, I adopted his champion Clysedale named Duke, but you deleted him!
Izar: Hey, I only learned about the premade sims of Chestnut Ridge today, okaaay?
Anyway, you didn't have a stable….

Thursday
Jose: Mama is so selfish! She came home late last night (again), muttering something about a horse.
Then, she packed us all up with tents and we had to spend the night in someone's yard.
During breakfast in a picnic area, I tell Mama that she and I have a Difficult family dynamic. Why so surprised?
Elise, Gisela, and I are both deeply connected and best friends with Papa, but not with Mama.
Mama's going to have to do better by the four of us! We're better than her stupid rocks!

Marcos: Ever since the weekend, Jose invites home a different kid from school nearly every day.
I realize Jose's hurt because he wants Izar to show him more love and attention.
But Izar's the one who remembered to visit the park so Jose could make new friends.
Heck, even I wish Izar had more time for me.  We just need to understand that Izar's doing the best she can.

Jose: Krystyn Harris lives in Evergreen Harbor but she's a Child of the Ocean.
She's really nice and we both like the color brown, so I ask her to exchange Friendship Bracelets with me.
Nice!  I really didn't want to be Bracelet Buddies with my older sister, y'know?

Friday
Izar: Since I earned my Level 9 promotion yesterday, I'm sure to max my career next week.
So, my family won't be happy with my decision, but I'm going to work overtime today at The Lab.
I have a really good feeling about finding my missing Punium metal today.
Sigh, I've got so much making up to do to Marcos and our children!!!

At exactly 1:19pm, I find the missing Punium and complete my third collection. Hallelujah!
I still need to finish my work day, but I won't be working overtime.
Let's see, what can we do tonight to celebrate?

Izar: Tonight, we're celebrating three things, children.
One, your father is a L9 Covert Operator so he only needs one more promotion.
Two, I also only need one more promotion to max my Scientist career.
And most important of all, I've completed my third collection today!
I no longer need to run around chasing dig sites or work overtime anymore!

Izar: And what's the story behind your new hair color, Gisela?
Gisela: Oh, um, I thought Papa was lonely being the only redhead in our family, so I joined him.
Izar: You dyed your hair all by yourself?
Gisela: No, Papa helped me. He said you'd be in a good mood today if you found your last rock. Are you?
Izar: Indeed, now Papa doesn't have to be the only ginger in our household.

Saturday
Marcos: What a great idea to come to Tartosa! We all really needed a break!
Izar: I can't wait until I earn my final promotion so I can quit my job!
I've been so busy ever since we moved to StrangerVille. I'm sick and tired of commuting!
Marcos: Our kids will be happy to spend more time with you.  We should take a real vacation as a family.

Jose: Wow, Mama! You made us all Rootbeer Floats?  You're the best!
Izar: I'm trying, son. I'm trying.

Elise: I dislike Fitness but I love doing fancy-shmancy tricks on the Water Slide!

Jose: I'm having so much fun, Mama!  I wish today would never end.
Elise: Me, too! So much better than staying home, going to school, doing homework, rinse, repeat.
Izar: Let your father and I put our thinking caps on, kids.
Maybe we can take an overnight vacation somewhere soon.
Gisela: Yay!

Progress: End of Week 21
Residence: StrangerVille Overlook, Shady Acres

Notes
*Sleep in a Treehouse for 6 hours:  Gisela struggled with this task.
Despite being exhausted, she kept waking up and tried to go to her bed or a patio sofa.
So she was locked out of the house.
Her siblings were practicing violin outdoors so they went indoors to practice. Gisela still wouldn't sleep.
When I made the siblings stop playing violin altogether, Gisela finally went to sleep.
I don't understand why she couldn't sleep if her siblings were playing their violins indoors. Sheesh!

*Invite schoolmates over after school: Our sims' invitees is, of course, not something we can control.
Krystyn Harris is such a cute little girl. Her father must be Jeb Harris rather than Jeb's younger brother.

*The triplets will be teens soon!: I'm super excited about playing them as teens.
I'd planned to age them into teens early but got so wrapped up in Izar's collecting that I forgot, lol!
Week 21 really flew by, since much of the action involved Izar flitting here and there looking for dig sites.
So glad her collections are done!

Ah - It's so good to see Izar finally has time to heal her family relations. I wonder if Gisela will be more understanding when it's her trying to meet some requirements! A day at the beach was a great idea. My Sims have so little time with the race element of my challenge. I'm really hoping the next thing I try will have more time to enjoy all the options or at least some of them.

I'm also glad that Tiva is cured and having fun on the swing.

There always seem to be kids at Desert Bloom Park. It is the best place for all sorts of activities.

Teens in the next update! I can't wait :)

Yes, Izar was really neglecting her family in her rush to be done with the three collections.
Somehow, I don't enjoy completing collections as much as I used to. Go figure!
Haha, I only hope that Izar and Marcos will find enough activities to enjoy their lives of leisure once they've stopped working.

I can imagine with the RDC's early age-up options that it's hard not to be constantly racing ahead.
Perhaps you can choose certain days in each generation across all three bloodlines where the sims enjoy non-requirement activities all day?
Listen to me! I'm the Watcher who makes even her vacationing sims grind skills! LOL!
There's an ice cream stand on Copperdale's pier but that area doesn't seem very child-friendly to me.

Yes! Desert Bloom Park is one of my favorite community lots.  It's almost always warm so fishing is avaliable year-round plus the dig sites are easy to spot.
I tend not to send my sims to Magnolia Blossom Park as much, whereas San Sequoia's Celebration Center is too sprawling.
Still, I guess I should eventually play one Mishmash generation in San Sequoia.

The Gen3 heir Izar really smashed through all her heir requirements and only needs one more career promotion.
I hope the game spawns new teens for Copperdale High School.  I've never had much luck with the "Teen Neighborhood" lot trait on a bowling alley/bar.
I know I'll be tempted to age up the Gen4 teens to YAs a little early.  Must resist, must resist....

Kudos to Izar on her great progress, but I agree that it's really nice to see the family spending some fun time together . . . before the rush of all the teen tasks!
I'm so glad Grandma Tiva is alive and well and no longer ghostly.  :D
I'm loving Gisela as a redhead! If course she would make that change to be more like Papa!

Izar's life was feeling pretty hectic--infants make dealing with multiple births so much harder than simply raising Top-Notch Toddlers.
And I didn't want Gisela all ready to move out, but stuck at home because Izar hadn't finished her collections.
On paper, Izar's requirements all looked very reasonable and doable, but I felt a bit overwhelmed.
I'm glad Izar finished the StrangerVille Mystery before starting her Scientist career and crystal/metal collections.

3.22: Brewing Up a Storm

Sunday, Week 22 (early winter)
Izar: Last week was a milestone week for our entire household.
Our children all learned to ride a bicycle whereas I managed to complete all three of my collections!
Marcos and I each need one more promotion to max our careers.
Yesterday, for the first time, we spent all day at Tartosa Beach, simply relaxing and having fun.
From L to R: Jose, Elise, my husband Marcos, Me (the Gen3 heir), and Gisela (the Gen4 heir).

Marcos works tonight from 6pm, so we spend the day at the Flea Market.
It's cloudy and cold here in San Myshuno.
We do a little singing, enjoy some Indian cuisine, and meet new people.
But it's nowhere near as fun as Saturday at Tartosa Beach.

After we return home, I display my three collections on the back patio.
I can't tell you what a relief it is to be done with those collections!

Monday
At 2 am, Marcos returns from work with his final promotion.
He quits his job as soon as he changes clothes.
He can earn just as much by gardening and woodworking.
He looks really great in that tight-fitting suit, though, so maybe I'll change his party outfit.

Elise: What do you say, Papa? Can we age up tonight after Mama comes home?
Marcos: Your mother and I talked it over this morning and we want to wait until tomorrow.
Gisela: Tomorrow? But our real birthday's on Wednesday!
Marcos: How would you like to have a birthday party tomorrow evening?  You can invite your friends.

Izar: To my delight, I earn my final promotion to Extraterrestrial Explorer this evening!
The first thing I do is phone in for a vacation day tomorrow.
I can only give my Wormhole Generator its final upgrade while I'm a Level 10 Scientist.
Children, why don't you also phone in a vacation day from school for tomorrow?

To celebrate the completion of all my heir requirements, I suggest we go see a movie in San Sequoia.
From the Anchorpoint Library, Marcos and I tell the kids to walk together with us to the cinema.
But they ignore us and disappear into the library instead. It was pretty frustrating.
Over an hour later, we finally gather in front of the cinema.
We've chosen an action movie, The Sheriff from Alpha Centauri.  I hope it's a good one!

Tuesday
Jose: Where are we?  What's all this white stuff? And why is it so cold? Brrrrrr!!!
Marcos: We're in the town of Newcrest and it's the first week of winter, so it's snowing.
Elise: I'm sure glad we don't live in Newcrest!
Gisela: Let's hurry and go inside.  It's lunchtime and I'm starving!

Elise: Papa, that lady behind the counter says she can't serve me.
Gisela: Me, neither!
Marcos: Just tell me what you want then go get seated.
Mama and I will bring you your pastries, okay?

Izar: With a new appreciation for StrangerVille, we head home to prepare for the party.
Marcos: Oh, now I can host a baby shower?  Thanks a lot, game, perfect timing!
Izar: Besides our kids' friends, we invite my grandparents plus Wizzo & Magedelena Moonstrider.
Of course, we invite my brother Andoni who was such a big help when the triplets were younger.
Check out that row of birthday cakes on the island counters!

Elise (Art Lover, Genius) ages up with that hairstyle and wants to keep it.
Gisela (Perfectionist, Paranoid) is keeping her ginger hair.  No surprise there!
Jose (Geek, Loyal) looks just like his father but with black hair.
On their teen birthdays, they each inherit their Grandpa Prince's left cheek mole.

Elise: Here are the Moonstrider boys after their makeovers.
Cooper the Outdoor Lover (left) has become Adventurous.
Gisela: Proper Rogelio (right) has become Childish.
Jose: My friend Krystyn is a Lazy Child of the Islands.
Gisela: Um, Jose?
Jose: Yeah?
Gisela: You might wanna keep looking at your romantic options…
Jose: I'm already on it!

Wednesday
Gisela: I love Papa so much!  He built me this basement room beneath the garden.
Since I'm Paranoid, I feel safer when I'm underground.
For my first attempt, I craft a bottle of Grape Nectar which turns out excellent quality.   Yay!
Alright, I'm locking access to this cellar to everyone but me!

You know high school's a waste of time when the best-looking guy there is your brother!
What is wrong with this guy? Does he think he looks good in  dangling earrings and collar?

Gisela: I'm down in my cellar when Krystyn Harris comes over after school.
She asks Jose to be besties then asks Elise to be her prom date, and not "as friends," either!
My Rogelio doesn't have a romantic preference yet but we've been besties for weeks.
I hear him knock on the door to visit me then he suddenly invites Elise to the Prom "as friends."

That's when I rush upstairs to set the two of them straight.
Elise and Rogelio weren't even friends at yesterday's party.
She must've spammed him all day on Social Bunny, that two-faced hussy!

I wasn't planning to rush into a relationship with Rogelio, but Elise's forcing my hand.
I haven't asked Rogelio to be my boyfriend or my Prom Date yet.
But I do invite him to Plumbite Pier where we mess around on the Cuddle Carts.
I'm pretty sure he understands now that he and I are exclusive!

Gisela: Obviously, it's not safe for Rogelio to visit our home unless I'm upstairs.
I've slightly remodeled my cellar so Rogelio and I can hang out here.
And the cellar's locked to everyone but the two of us.
How else can I keep Elise from flirting with him whenever I'm not around?
Gah, I don't want to stay in the cellar with Rogelio all the time like it's some dungeon!

Thursday
Gisela: After school, we visit the Magical HQ for the first time.
It was a quick trip because Jose is eager to invite his new love interest over.
Jose presents his Promposal to the lovely Genesis James and she accepts.
Rogelio also pops by this evening to ask me to Prom "as friends."
Whatever, I ask him to be my boyfriend, since he seems rather confused.

Friday
Gisela: Not gonna lie…I could stay in my cellar and stomp fruit all day!
I've only been brewing one or two bottles of nectar a day.
Making nectar isn't a priority for me at this stage of my life, but I sure do enjoy it!

That's Ayden Hauer, the much younger brother-in-law of Uncle Andoni.
I met Ayden yesterday at the Magical HQ.
He's pretty good-looking but Elise isn't interested in him at all.
If I told her I was dumping Rogelio for Ayden, I bet she'd be all over Ayden. *sighs

Saturday
Gisela: It's Prom Night at the Auditorium and the place is bumpin'!
I greet Rogelio with a kiss and Jose asks Genesis to be his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Krystyn (the Lazy Child of the Islands) looks for her Prom Date, Elise.

Why wait?
I ask Rogelio to be my boyfriend and he accepts, of course.
I also tell him he's my favorite, but he already knew that.

Elise (back turned): Hey, handsome! Wanna be my Prom Date?
Krystyn (right): Um, Elise? You're MY Prom Date!
Valentin Price (grey vest): Hey, sorry, but I'm here with my girlfriend, Collette Hecking.
Elise: Well, I've got a major crush on you, big boy. Maybe we can hook up another time?

Gisela: While Elise ruined Krysten and Collette's evening, Jose and I had a blast at the tonight's Prom.
Rogelio and I were the first ones to use the Photo Booth. Don't we look fabulous?
Jose and Genesis used the Photo Boot, too. Look how cute they are together!

Gallery Downloads
*Tranquil Crescent (30x30): "Starbucks" (café) by NolanaSims.
A great-looking café in nice weather.
I keep forgetting that cafes aren't child-friendly like food stalls.

Progress: End of Week 22
Residence: StrangerVille Overlook, Shady Acres
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Notes
*San Sequoia's movie theater: This place works like Copperdale's pier.
That is, our sims can't travel directly there; its closest lot is Anchorpoint Library.
Unfortunately, on arrival, the kids ran into the library, ignoring my Walk Here Together command.
The parents waited in front of the movie theater for over an hour while I hunted for each kid.
It's great that the whole family can go to the cinema together, but the implementation is bizarre.

*Prince's moles: These are from a custom content mole pack.
They're genetically transmitted when each new generation celebrates their teen birthday.
They are surprisingly persistent.  I'm not complaining!

*Baby Shower: The Baby Shower is back! Hopefully, it will still be around when it's Gisela's time!

It made me laugh seeing the family visit Newcrest for the shortest time ever. You should have told us you were coming. I'm sure Will Kenna would have given you a warm welcome.

The triplets have all aged up very different in features, each one attractive.
That Elise is a real trouble maker, despite having great traits. Is she not interested in Rogelio's brother?
Rogelio aged up with a cute face. He'll make lovely babies with Gisela but Proper & Childish? Those 2 traits would seem mutually exclusive to me.
I'm assuming the Paranoid trait is Gen-determined. And not for a repeat of the Strangerville mystery...hm...

The Newcrest visit was extremely poorly planned on my part.
One, that cafe with its open access and outdoor tables is designed to be enjoyed in nicer weather, not when its snowing.
Two, the place was hard  to enjoy since the kids couldn't order their own pastries and the parents had to fight off the other customers to place five orders.
Haha, I need to place a different brunch spot that is family-friendly and enjoyable year-round.

The triplets don't resemble each other much at all, right?
You'd think Elise would embrace the role of sensibly responsible older sister, but no.  Elise only cares about Elise.
I agree Rogelio has odd traits. He's Proper & Childish whereas his twin Cooper has Loves the Outdoors & Adventurous.

Yes, Gisela's personality traits are determined by her heir requirements. It's just a coincidence that she's a Paranoid sim living in StrangerVille.
I'd been wanting Gisela to learn nectar making since the Horse Ranch pack came out.
It only occurred to me several days ago that she'd enjoy the cellar more than other sims because she's Paranoid (she's not a Prepper, though).

3.23: Thief of Hearts

Sunday, Week 23 (mid-winter)
Gisela: Last week, Mama finished the last of her Gen3 heir requirements so she and Papa both quit their jobs.
Elise, Jose, and I aged up to teens one day early on Tuesday.  We attended our first Prom last night.

Technically, I'm now the active heir but I feel bad for Mama since she's only had five updates so far.
So I'm going to continue living at home for a couple more weeks instead of moving out sooner.
You're welcome, Mama!
From L to R: My siblings Jose and Elise, Papa Marcos, Mama Izar (the Gen3 heir), and me (the Gen4 heir).

At last night's Prom, Elise ignored her Prom Date (Krystyn Harris) and instead got a major crush on Valentin Price.
He's kinda cute but his traits aren't stellar.  I mean, Clumsy Horse Lover!?
He shows up this afternoon wanting Elise to be his girlfriend, which is fine with me.
I hope she's so busy crushing on Valentin that she forgets all about Rogelio!

My relationship with Rogelio is important but I also have other goals.
When I grow up, I'm going to be the perfect wife and perfect mother!
Unlike my own mother, I plan to stay at home and spend most my time caring for my husband and children.
And I also plan to continue brewing nectar to help my future husband provide for our family.

Speaking of children, my sister Elise is unbelievably reckless.
She only met Valentin Price last night and they're already messing around!
Granted, his family lives in the Fountainview Penthouse in San Myshuno, which means they're filthy rich.
I guess that makes Valentin a catch in Elise's eyes?
But isn't Elise worried about turning into a single teenage mother?

Monday
Gisela: You are NOT going to believe the Tea!  You know Aiden Moonstrider, don't you?
He's not only my boyfriend's older brother but he's also married to Mama's sister.
Anyway, I overheard Papa telling a friend that Aiden confessed his crush to Mama over the phone.
You know Papa's going to be watching Mama like a hawk from now on!  Oh, the drama!
(Aiden's better-looking than both of his younger brothers, though.  Sorry, Rogelio!)

Tuesday
I'm ashamed to admit that it only occurred to me to buy the Marketable trait this afternoon.
So far, I've brewed 15 bottles of Nectar, including 14 Excellent and 1 Normal.
Also, I maxed my Nectar Making skill today so my newly-brewed Nectars all start Lightly Aged.
Considering the base prices of the various Nectar flavors, I'm sticking with Grape and Strawberry.

Tonight, I become the first Chopstick Savvy Spice Hound in our family.
To my surprise, our parents haven't earned either trait yet.
I guess they haven't been using chopsticks and eating spicy food since childhood like my siblings and me.

Wednesday
Rogelio: I've missed you so much, Gisela! I ran over as soon as I finished celebrating Winterfest with my family.
Gisela: It's so nice to see you, too.  I have two surprises for you.
First, a Mistletoe kiss!
And second, my special Winterfest present to you is…me!

Rogelio: Are you sure about this, Gisela? I'm kinda nervous.
Gisela: I'm nervous, too, but you are the first and only sim I'll ever love.
When we're both old enough, I can't wait to marry you and start our family together!

Gisela: We've all been sitting on the back patio in front of the fireplace, awaiting Father Winter.
I spot him on our front porch around 9pm so I quickly call him over to the back of the house.
I remember introducing myself and asking for a present, but no longer remember what he gives me.
Because, at that very moment, behind my back…

Elise walks up to Rogelio and gives him a kiss.
Not just any old kiss, but a First Kiss.
How did I not know that Elise and Rogelio have been carrying on without me knowing?
How could I have been so trusting and clueless!?

Gisela: Elise, I will never forgive you! You have your choice of boys but you had to have Rogelio, didn't you?
How could you be so heartless! You know I've liked Rogelio since I was in grade school!
Elise: He's a Proper sim and tried so hard to stay faithful to you, Gisela.
In the end, he just couldn't resist! Mwahahahaha!

Gisela: And you! Why did you just stand there when she kissed you? Why didn't you push her away?
After the magic morning we spent together, Rogelio! You must've been laughing at me the whole time!
Rogelio: No, it's not what you think! I've never had any feelings for Elise.
But she spammed flirty messages to me on Social Bunny until we shared a romantic bar.
Please, believe me, Gisela!  Don't break up with me!
Gisela: How can I ever trust you again? Rogeio Moonstrider, I officially loathe you! Get out of my sight!

Thursday
Yesterday, I joined the Chess Team and immediately got a slightly negative relationship with my team rival Ryan Ota.
What the heck?
She's standing right in front of me when I arrive at school today.
After what happened last night, you know I'm spoiling for a fight!

I have no idea what Ryan's problem is but I oblige her with a smackdown.
While she's seeing stars and reeling, I declare her my enemy.

Apparently, Drama Llamas (like me) can let go of relationships and move on.
I certainly hope so.
My broken heart and wounded self-esteem need all the help they can get! *sniffle, sniffle

Friday
Izar: What did you want to talk to me about, Elise?
Elise: I now have three character values in range, so I want to age up to a YA tomorrow morning.
You and Papa would complete Super Parent and earn the Role Model trait, right?
Izar: Oh, that would be really wonderful and so very useful! You'd do that for your parents?
Elise: It's no big deal.  I'd like to join the Scientist career like you did and move into my own place.
Izar: Move out on your own?! Let's include Papa in this discussion, shall we?

Marcos: What's the big rush to move out? Does it have to do with Rogelio?
Elise: Yeah.  Since Gisela dumped him, I'm going to ask him to be my boyfriend.
But it's awkward with Gisela around, so I need to move to a different town.
Marcos: Of course, it's awkward. You're the one who cornered Gisela into breaking up with Rogelio.
Elise: Oh, please!  Papa, you always takes Gisela's side! You've never cared about me!
Marcos: Well, if you're set on moving out, we won't stand in your way. But you need to apologize to Gisela.
Elise: As if I would apologize to Gisela! *flips hair

Night on the Town, Cadenza Lounge
Marcos: So, the three of you graduated high school early yesterday.  What now, Jose?
Jose: Since I plan to stay here with you and Mama, I want to marry my girlfriend Genesis after we age up.
Marcos: Excellent idea!  She's very sweet and will make a great addition to our household!
Jose: I haven't proposed to her yet but I know she'll say yes. Do you think we could have a small wedding?

Saturday
Elise: Eh, the rest of the family's pretending that they don't know I'm blowing out my birthday candles.
They're all making me out as the villain and feeling sorry for Gisela.
Listen, is it my fault that Gisela couldn't hold on to her boyfriend?
And now, I shall join the Scientist career!

Rogelio: Thank you for inviting me on a date to Tartosa. I've been feeling really down lately.
Elise: About Gisela? Never mind her! Would you like to be my boyfriend instead?
Rogelio: Could we maybe get to know each other better first? Oh, hey, are you a young adult now?
Elise: Yes, but you're fine.  By the time I'm done having your babies, we'll be the same age.
Rogelio: Um, my…babies!?

Elise (to herself): Rogelio is so high-maintenance! How did Gisela deal with him?
First, our friendship's on the low side, so I focus on raising our friendship.
But then, our romance bar starts decreasing.
Now that we're best friends, maybe we can do a little messing around so he'll love me more?

Elise (to herself): Is Rogelio simply not ready for a relationship with me yet?
Or do his friendship and romance bars fluctuate so greatly because he's a Proper sim?
Or could it be that Rogelio has issues?
After we mess around to raise our romance bar, look what happened to our friendship!!!

Gisela: Does the pain get easier to bear, Mama?
We only broke up three days ago, but every little memory makes me burst into tears.
On the other hand, Elise has helped Rogelio move on so fast it's like I never existed.
Izar: You and Rogelio weren't meant to be, Gisela.
There's someone out there, waiting to meet you and make your dreams of a big happy family come true!

Notes
*Update frequency: I don't usually post updates on consecutive days, but I'm so eager to get Gisela moved out and on her own!
Her siblings sttill have some loose ends to tie up but, after that, Gisela is eager to move on with her life.

No kidding, Drama Llama!!
I'd say Elise and Rogelio deserve each other, but it does seem like Rogelio was a bit of a victim in this without a Watcher to protect him from Elise's manipulations.

Can't wait to see what's in store for Gisela once she gets out on her own!

Our sim children lost the benefit of friendship-building with photos but Social Bunny for teens and older is so OP!
Face to face, Rogelio angrily rejected Elise's flirty socials but he didn't get a romance bar on Social Bunny until Elise spammed 2-3 times the usual number of flirty messages to topple lesser sims.
I found the narrative pacing a little difficult in the past two updates.  So much had to happen requirements-wise over two weeks of Normal lifespan.
Hi! Bye! I love you! I hate you! Oh, and happy birthday!

Goodness me, what an update!

Whilst Gisela is clearly our hero, I kinda feel sorry for both Elise - destined to be the bad guy - and Jose - watching on from the side-lines.

Ha! You've not declared the source of Gisela's requirements and I can't work it out as I went hunting for spoilers. Will Rogelio be forgiven and return? Will Paranoid Gisela find true love elsewhere? Or will her Big Happy Family be achieved in a nontraditional manner?
So many questions!
