What would the best traits be to give Alexander and Cassandra Goth?

I want to make them as Sims 2-esque as possible so what would the best traits for these two be? BTW I have UL installed so they can have 7 traits as adults.

I am not sure what traits to give them.  I haven't played the Goth family in so long, so I'm not as familiar with them. I was going to suggest looking over the various Sims Wiki pages to help with ideas, but it seems they don't really give traits ? for the earlier Sims games.

I think what I might do is, when the time comes, before engineering them at the hospital in Oasis Landing, I'll do a temporary copy of the save where Mortimer and Bella are at Oasis Landing and I'll make PERFECT clones of Bella and Mortimer and give them the same traits as what the clone-babies have. I've never played TS2 but from what little I know about the history of the younger Goth generation it seems this....might...be an accurate route to take (key word: MIGHT). Have I got the right idea or should I try something else?

I don't know. I haven't played Sims 2 in... years... It might be a good idea just to go with your plan, play it out a little to see what you think of it. If it all goes well, keep keepin' on. Or if it fails, you can always start over.

On second thought, I'm thinking of making Cassandra a Shy Genius. As a child she will perhaps gain the Bookworm trait with Artistic as her Social Group trait (Rebels - earned as a toddler because I love to cheat all my favourite skill levels to max in toddlerhood using MasterController). Alexander on the other hand might be an Excitable Genius, and although he would also gain the Bookworm trait, perhaps he would also get the "Loves the Outdoors" trait? That might be his Social Group trait (Nerds). I'm thinking Alexander might follow in his father's footsteps and get a degree in Science and Medicine, followed by the Science career track, whereas Cassandra would aspire to become a teacher. Does this sound like an ideal storyline? By the way, Mortimer and Bella are currently attending university together, and they both asked a vampire student to turn them, so now they're waiting for that to take effect. Mortimer will turn both his parents when they get home from their first week (after which they will each need only 12 further credits to graduate, achievable in one further week).

In other news, Gunther and Cornelia have moved out and adopted relatively faithful recreations of Menelaus and Hecuba, Mortimer and Bella adopted sibling kittens named Kobe and Misa from someone else who lived in Sunset Valley (and I plan for Misa and Kobe to be Menelaus and Hecuba’s mates, respectively - maybe Mortimer can adopt the “real Siamese twins” just before Gunther and Cornelia pass away?), Michael Bachelor has married Joanie Arc and they have a child named Chastity (obtained from Joanie’s Clone Voucher) and a toddler named Jay (“grown” in the science research station from a DNA sample Mortimer took from Michael) and Mortimer and Bella have returned to Sims University and adopted a female unicorn (the unicorn they adopted in first term was male), and when they graduate and return home Michael and his new family will take the unicorns with them to their new home in Riverview.

I'm worried about Bella's grades rn. They were perfect in first term but Wednesday was Leisure Day and while Mortimer was able to attend class just fine, Bella was not, no matter when I clicked "Go to Class" or how many times I clicked on it, resulting in the game forcing her to skip class that day, and now her bar related to academics is only about half-full, and it's Friday. Mortimer's bar, on the other hand, is basically full.

Is there a way to maybe help her with her homework or something like that to help it not hurt her grades so much?  Maybe have Bella and Mortimer study together. Shoot I can't remember if kids can do that. *Blush* I don't play with kids all that often.

I managed to get Bella’s academic performance bar maxed out in time for her to take her exams, so she and Mortimer should both be able to graduate from university with an A grade now:)

Also, I have the “Sims Get Arrested” mod which does what it says on the tin, but can get annoying fast because Sims can get others arrested autonomously and I don’t know if there’s a way to tune the XML file to disable that, so when someone came on my property in the middle of the night I made Mortimer temporarily stop club dancing so he could have that random Sim arrested “for trespassing” and then I let him continue to dance the last night of his life on the Sims University campus away with not a care in the world;)

You may want to ask over at either ModtheSims or Nraas for help editing/tune the XML File. Some players on either site are a lot more familiar with that kind of stuff. lol

Bella and Mortimer both managed to graduate with an A grade, and then they went home and each got an appropriate job beginning at level 4 of their respective career tracks, and now they’re on their way to Oasis Landing to start their new family:)
